But I called the location in Riverside and spoke with Ben and he went above and beyond to help me. He was so helpful and pleasant and took great care of me, which is hard to find now days. If you have a pool and are in Riverside County, this is the place to go for all of your pool and spa needs. Ask for Ben and you will be certain to get the best customer service. I've been going to different Leslie's stores for over 30 years but the biggest bald guy, I don't know the name but I went to this store and I was looking at what I need and I was on my phone, and he kept asking if I need any help, I said I'm okay, I was texting and opening my bank app, then he started accusing me of working at another store and I was just there to compare prices. I said I don't work for another store and I had to explain what I was doing on my phone when it was supposed to be private. Then after I got what I need, around $200, he kept upselling me to get more. I said I'll just come back to get more money for whatever he was trying to sell me. That was the last time I'm at Leslie's lol, I went to pool academy instead, about a mile away, very excellent service and products are all reasonable and no paranoid employees hawking at you and pressuring you to buy more lol. read more

I just moved into a new home and it has a pool. I never had a pool nor did I ever have friends who own a pool so I had no idea what I was in for. It seemed logical to just hire a pool guy/person but I actually enjoy cleaning the pool myself and with the help of my 16 year old son and I can also learn the pool chemistry as I go. Ben gave my husband and I the run down of how pool maintenance works. He guided us with the products we needed and chemicals the pool needs. We opted to drain the pool because the TDS and acid levels were high- so we bought a new pool pump and pool/spa lights. He managed to schedule everything smoothly and we had our pool drained, pump & lights installed and water filled on schedule. Nathan is also very helpful too. Most valuable of all the employess here actually care and are very helpful. The supplies are above retail price but work better than what you could get at home depot. Last year I was taken for a ride by this manager Ben! He gave us an inferior pool liner after I had ordered a top of the line pool liner! On the day we had people to help install we opened the box to see it was a cheap liner but then Ben said he couldn't get the one I ordered and paid for in! Within 4 months the seam split and sprung a leak! We had to drain it! When asking about the warranty he refused to help me and told my husband he won't help me or reply to my calls as he thought I had given him a bad review (which was not me until now! ) and stated if I pull my review he will help me!! I've tried calling corporate with zero response!! I spent a whole lot of money here and need it to be made right! Really sad this guy should not even be made a salesman much less a manager! The Assistant manager Jakob was so helpful. I went in to get the whole Shabang because I just moved to riverside and the previous owners had very old equipment. I needed a pool cleaner, I needed up getting a new filter, chemicals, a variable speed pump and some toys for the kids. I was in there for probably an hour because I had so many questions about how much it would costs if there were any possible deals, and if I could get the best of the best products. And boy when I tell you he helped me through all my questions he really did. He explained the chemicals to me and how they work on the pool, he explained the importance of getting my water checked what chemicals to use, and he even helped me with picking the right pump and filter for me. All I can say is 100% all around super knowledgeable and spectacular guy, to sit there and hold my hand throughout the entire process with an upright and positive attitude while being super understanding and knowledgeable. If you ever come in I would seriously ask for his assistance with all your pool needs. I give it a 5/5 for his customer service, knowledge, and general understanding I will definitely be coming back again. read more
