Three years ago we bought our Hot Tub from Outdoor Comfort. They were great to work with then. We recently had a leak which they came out quickly to fix. They are incredible. Great customer service. They didn't just check out the leak they checked out several other parts of the hot tub, and gave us some tips for keeping it in great shape. They told us that if the leak wasn't fixed to call them and they would come back out. (I appreciate them doing the simple fix first!) Our hot tub stopped working, and it was blowing the circuit breaker. Furthermore, all the water leaked out. I went to the Outdoor Comfort office and met Christian and learned about John, who is the owner of Outdoor Comfort and also the person who does the repairs. A few days later, John came to our home and promptly repaired our hot tub in just a few hours for an extremely reasonable price. I've never had any experience with this company but was referred there by a friend who had good things to say about them. From the time I walked into the place up until the time they were finished with my project they presented a friendly and professional demeanor. John received me at the store, and it was obvious that he was very knowledgeable and took the time to explain the nuances of my project. He was able to fit me in the very next day. He arrived as scheduled and had the job finished within the timeframe planned. I watched as he completed the work and saw that he was very efficient. John and Outdoor Comfort are the BEST! I bought a used spa on Craigslist that was grossly misrepresented in age and functionality. After several weeks of runaround from the seller and their "service technician", I called Outdoor Comfort for help. John came promptly to my house, gave me an honest assessment, replaced some key parts and got my spa up and running as cost effectively as possible. A word of caution: Don't bother buying a used spa. Do not, I repeat DO NOT do business with this company. I drove over an hour to buy two products from this business for our Hot Springs spa- the salt system cartridges and freshwater vanishing act bag. The latter is a ONE TIME USE ONLY product. That's important for this review. I noticed the box for the vanishing act bag was a little worn and the tape was dirty but I didn't think too much of it. We got home and emptied and cleaned our hot tub for it's annual cleaning and when my husband took the "new" vanishing bag out of the box.....it was still wet! Clearly it was already used once! I guess they saw a woman come in and decided to pull this BS and sell me a used product that is only supposed to be used one time and discarded. In this day and age, how can you treat customers this way? We called HotSprings' corporate office to let them know this establishment cheats customers!! Go someplace else even if this is your closest spa retailer!! They lost a customer over a $45 product. Kudos to HotSprings customer service who shipped us a replacement bag for free. We didn't ask but they sent it anyway. That was great service!!! read more

I called these guys because they were the closest Hotsprings folks that could replace a bad motor in my spa. I spoke tho the girl that answered the phone. She said there would be a $125 travel fee plus a $120 service fee. She said they would come out and diagnose the problem and then order the parts and come back out when the parts come in. I told her I could send her 6 pics of the issue and that it was in fact a leaking motor with the bearings going out. It needed a motor. I asked her if there would be an additional travel fee and service fee for the second visit and making it a grand total of $490??? I reminded her my spa was under warranty. She said she could not answer that and she would have her boss call me back. No one ever called me back...so I went elsewhere and received great service from a different company. read more

I had a 10-year-old in-ground fiberglass spa with half of the jets I thought defective for 10 years until John figured out within the matter of minutes. They were never defective in the first place as my plumber and handyman in the past all advised me after they installed it but it was a just matter of knowing which button to push to turn them on! You can't imagine how it was like to have spent 10 years not using half of my jets! John always arrived on time and was professional. He completed his work very carefully and quickly. On the day of delivery John ensured that I knew everything about this Spa, from functionality and chemical treatment to routine maintenance and long term care.
