Given the backyard restrictions, having too many trees and living in the city with the most restricted regulations, multiple pool contractors told us that it was impossible to have a pool in our backyard. I saw YSP on Yelp with very good ratings, I decided to consult with them. They immediately work on the engineering plan to secure city permit. It took two months to be approved. After that, they went ahead and immediately started the project. I told them my budget and they worked with me to stay within that amount. Now, we finally have our dream backyard oasis. It is what I have envisioned and it really turned out beautifully. Brian was on top of everything and his workers are all very kind and hard workers . Although I was about to purchase a hot tub from a large, well known dealer in Corona, I decided to look at Custom Spas Direct, which has good online reviews and happens to be very close to our house. I'm glad I did. I was not familiar with the Vita spa brand that Custom Spas Direct sells. There's very little information available online. After doing some digging, I determined that Vita is a decent, mid-range spa with competitive pricing. Nothing fancy, but it's built with good components from companies like Balboa Water Group. Dealing with Custom Spas Direct has been fantastic. It's a small company and we interacted directly with Jim Galpin, the owner. Jim is a straightforward guy and he was very helpful in choosing a spa. Since I was unfamiliar with Vita, I had a lot of questions and he patiently answered all of them. He quickly responded whenever I sent him a text with a question or request. After the purchase, he was super flexible with regard to delivery, setup timing, coordinating with the electrician's schedule, etc. The delivery and setup was quick and well done. The installer did a good job answering all of my questions. We've had the spa six months and have had a couple of minor issues. One was probably due to user error on my part and the other was not. In both cases, Jim responded to my texts immediately and quickly resolved my issue, even during a holiday week. I'm so glad I purchased from a local dealer that provides such fantastic service after the sale. I'm sure a larger dealer would not have given us the same treatment. Thanks Jim! Five stars!

I am only writing this review to save others from contracting this company for cleaning service…read more The owner may be very competent but he does not check up on the work his workers complete until it's too late and he has to come and clean up the mess. There is honestly no issue with consistency of the worker showing up, he'd come every Wednesday with his net and broom and brush the dirt around the pool and then leave. 30 minutes tops each time. He also turned on the filter and let it run because he kept forgetting to put the timer back on, so the pool would run constantly! The pool turned green after about a month of service, and we had to call the company to come back out. The owner came out on his own and fixed the pool, but now it's turning bad again. We decided to part ways and when we tried to cancel our service, the lady yelled at us! She told us it wasn't right for us to go with another service without giving them a chance to fix the problem! Crazy, haha. Just wanted to post this to save people time and aggravation and just find a different pool cleaning service.
