She asked some questions to find what we were looking for and then we set a time for her and Josh to come over and talk. Following our meeting they took us to four pools they had designed and built in the area. They looked great and you could tell the homeowners really liked them. They were both a pleasure to work with and had great ideas on the design. Josh was in charge all of the way and he is a perfectionist. He had his team correct imperfections that we didn't even notice. He was here a lot and made sure things were done the right way. Not to get into it but I guess I was not paying total attention during the process as the pool and jacuzzi ended up with even more features than I envisioned (within the original budget). I am not a detail person ... LOL. They went above and beyond our expectations and we are 100% happy with everything. I have been slow to get to this review but really that makes me feel better about providing a recap. After the pool we had some questions about operating the pool equipment and both Josh and Stephanie were great about getting back to us or coming over if needed. We love our pool! The added bonus is they are great people and fun to work with from start to finish. Would highly recommend them.

Our project was extensive and involved expansion of our yard, installation of numerous 30' pilings into untouched hillside to support a very large pool, and the addition of a large concrete tiled deck. It was completed in about 9 months and was coordinated with an extensive door and window remodel with a general contractor which was also seamless with Brad's careful coordination. Brad and his crew were respectful, professional, on time and on budget. Brad was and has been incredibly responsive throughout the process and in the years afterwards. Whenever we have a question he answers immediately and follows through until our concerns are addressed. I had to reach out to him recently with a question about our pool lights and even though it has been 4 years he was still so kind and thorough which reminded me to write this review. Eloy is funny and extremely easy to communicate with. New Burbank zoning rules meant we needed to relocate our pool equipment and the space limitations of our yard did not leave us many appealing options - until Eloy came up with the idea of hiding the equipment behind a waterfall! Our favorite thing about Eloy was how flexible he was to late changes. Other contractors we've worked with always make changes during production feel like a hassle (to them), or use it as an excuse to charge more money -- Eloy almost made it seem fun; "Great idea" he'd say. So we weren't left with that "Oh, I wish we'd thought to add ____" feeling. On top of all that, his crew is very fast. I've also noticed most contractors wait to see if YOU will point out a problem with their work, but Eloy really cared about how things looked himself. Besides the job taking a year and a half to finish (quoting me 3 months), and even if I wanted to use the pandemic excuse they used with me, that was not the worst of it. The project manager showed up first day and never returned. Didn't check the progress at all. As many times as I begged him to show up to see the plumbing, the concrete, etc, as it was finished he always said he didn't have time, so there was no one overseeing the job - that is not a pandemic issue, that's management. That's the only person on their payroll. Everyone else is a sub that made a mess, didn't show up, forgot things that needed to be done and did everything wrong from the beginning. Without oversight they had to send out multiple people, multiple times to keep fixing the issues, delaying things that would have been done if they had someone managing the job and the right people working. I had to relay what the inspectors said (they don't show up for inspections, they expected me to deal with it and never let me know when they were scheduled). After getting nowhere with the staff, I tried to go directly to the owner. The owner was dismissive and would not talk with me till the very end after reaching out numerous times. At one point he showed up at my house for a check and when I tried to explain to him all the problems I was having he would say "I'm just here for the check" and dismiss everything else I was saying. The office would tell me he wasn't there to avoid dealing with anything & I was even hung up on rather than answer when I asked questions to the office staff when & who I was going to get a call back from. When I finally was able to talk to the owner he blamed everything on everyone & everything else. They had no idea or bothered to care what was happening though the whole project, I had to call to tell them what wasn't done and what was missing. I even gave up on things that were supposed to be done just to get them out of my life sooner. I still have issues to this day with my pool, and just deal with them rather than having to call this company again. I have nothing positive to say about the owner & the way this company is run. I rely on recommendations & felt this needed to be said. I can say at least they finished the job & I appreciate that it didn't have to get into a legal issue. Through that unfortunate experience that is the only thing I can say was positive (as if finishing a job was a bonus for hiring a company)....For your own peace of mind, please use anyone else. I would hate for someone to have to go through what I did.

He provided us a with a viable solution and quote to fiberglass our 40-year-old plaster pool. It should be noted that SBPFR quoted against six other pool repair providers. Our decision to select SBPFR was based on numerous criteria, and they were judged to be the best option. We were right and delighted with this selection! Demolition work began on time, including draining the pool, covering our gazebo to minimize dust and removal of all the old tile. Leading up to the beginning and during the entire project, Miguel kept us up to date with the progress--excellent and timely communications all along the way. The entire project from draining the pool, to all the fiberglass and tile refinishing work took exactly one week plus one day, from start to a full pool. Also included in the project was 'new' pool startup services. We are fully satisfied and delighted with our 'new' pool and relationship with SBPFR!
