Please do not use this business. They are horrible. At first we paid cash $26,000 for a jacuzzi…read moretub. Their people came and placed the slats on our Jacuzzi to which the cover was supposed to rest. They installed it wrong and the wall opened on the back of the jacuzzi. We called them numerous times until they finally had somebody come over to take a look at it. They tried to blame it on us stating we told there people where to place the slats. we know about hot tubs so they charged us for their job that was not done properly. It was incompetently done again by them so They had another technician come over and still problems. they thereby gave us a number of someone who fixed hot tubs we called this person. This person came over looked at our system said we need certain parts. We waited on the part after he did whatever our tub it would no longer heat up. he thereby told us we needed a part which was $1000 we paid for the part. After four months of messing with this person. We thereby get a call from the police saying that the person that they gave us is under indictment for fraud. We had to give testimony to federal authorities .This company does not standby their work. We wish we had purchased this tub from someone else and the only thing we get are excuses and runarounds so bad that we will not call them again. Our Jacuzzi has not been used in over nine months I don't know what to do. Hopefully we can find a repair man but do not use this company ever ever. We have wasted a lot of money and a lot of time.!

Spring Dance Hot Tubs of NJ

It was delivered in 12/24. This was a major investment on our part. In addition to the spa purchase, we were also required to meet strict code requirements in our township (as well as those recommended by the manufacturer), for example, installing a 12' by 14', 6-inch thick concrete reinforced pad, fence with pool latch gate, as well as electrical requirements (before the township would provide a certificate of approval).... The Spa has a minor water leak.. The End2End spa cover, that we paid $5500, does not fit properly. The service department sent two different technicians (in 5/2025) to address our concerns and, while both technicians could see the water leaking from the spa, they could not locate an issue with the plumbing or the spa tub. The second technician located water in the base of the spa, but could not find where it originated. Both felt the spa cover was satisfactory .We disagree with the findings of the technicians. We do not want water inside the spa cabinet as it will rot the wood frame. We need a spa cover that seals properly to avoid heat loss. The second technician that was at the house pointed out mice droppings around the frame inside the cabinet. He suggested we use a mice deterrent, such as peppermint oil. Mice enter the spa cabinet around the base where there is a gap. The construction of the spa cabinet is defective, held in place by wood screws, and will not hold up over time. The wood frame of the spa is incomplete, as the second technician found a section of lumbar framing material that was never installed and sitting inside the cabinet. Only the upper portion of the spa frame is treated lumber (painted black) while the lower half of the cabinet appears to be unfinished. The operations manager in the service department of Spring Dance wanted to send a third technician to review our issues, but I declined as he disagreed that we have a warranty claim with our spa. He said rain or snow will get in the spa cabinet as it is not designed to withstand water. He said there is no warranty claim with the End2End cover as no cover provides a perfect seal. He said there is a waiver in the warranty regarding mice getting into the spa cabinet. I disagree as there is no such waiver in the warranty. The spa cabinet is warranted 3-years from defects, but he said there are no defects in our cabinet. I asked that he replace the spa with one that is well constructed (doesn't leak, sealed cabinet that doesn't allow mice to enter), free of all defects, and that he replace the End2End cover. He declined because he does not believe we have issues with our spa, or the End2End cover, --therefore, there is no warranty claim. He insists that Spring Dance Hot Tub honors the warranty of all the products it sells, but this apparently does not apply to our spa. The bottom line, Spring Dance Hot Tubs does not honor the warranty of the products they sell. Buy at your own risk.

My wife and I work so I asked that they have the repairman call before he headed to our home. By the time I got home the repairman had the side panel off and declared he had found one of the hoses loose and I watched as he took all of 2 minutes to reattach the hose. I said I didn't think that was the problem but he said fill it with water and if it didn't work, call his cell phone or send him a text. I filled the tub and as I expected, the loose hose was not the problem. We tried texting and calling several times but he never answered or responded. In the end we paid $150.00 for attaching a loose hose, that I easily could have fixed, and that did nothing to repair our spa.

Chas Pools originally put our pool in over 17 years ago. Joe Chas was wonderful to work with and…read morethey did an excellent job. However, since Joe recently passed away the company has gone down hill drastically and very quickly. We contacted them in August 2023 to put a new liner in our pool before the following pool season. We spoke with "Joyce" who quoted a price that we found acceptable. We were told that someone would be out to take additional measurements because some of the measurements on the original blueprint were missing. Unfortunately, no one showed up to take measurements for over 8 months. When they finally showed up (mid April 2024) to take the missing measurements they apparently STILL did not take the appropriate measurements! But that didn't stop Joyce from calling us while we were on vacation to tell us that they had the measurements they needed and to come in and make the down payment so they could order the liner. However, because of their unprofessionalism and excessive delay, the cost had almost doubled from the original quote we were given 8 months prior. But, I still went into their office as soon as we got home and made the down payment. After writing the check, I was rudely told by Joyce that we were now 14th on the list because others had made their down payments before us. Even though we had started the process 8 months prior and was only waiting on THEM, not the opposite. In addition we had made several attempts to find out when they would be out to take those additional measurements, to no avail. But because of our previous great experience with Joe Chas, we were still hoping for the best. Our check was cashed the very next day. Boy were we happy thinking that things were finally in motion. Yeah right! After not hearing anything for a few weeks we called in early May 2024 to see what number we were on the list now, because naively we were still hoping to have our new liner completed by Memorial Day weekend. Boy were we surprised to find out that not only had Joyce not even ORDERED the liner but that even more measurements were needed! What? And of course she refused to commit on a time frame for when those measurements would be completed. Nor did she have an explanation for why she had called us, 3 weeks prior, to tell us that she had the measurements and to come in and make the down payment. Now here we are, another 4 weeks later (6 weeks after they cashed our check) and no one has shown up to take these so-called additional measurements and our liner has still not even been ordered. Not once did anyone even have the courtesy to contact us about anything, after the check was cashed. It was always us contacting them. And here we were thinking we were finally moving right along in the process that we had started almost a year before. But sadly, the only thing we've ever gotten from Joyce is excuses, finger pointing, unprofessionalism, dismissiveness, irritation and downright rudeness. So a few days ago, my husband told her (via email because she refused his calls multiple times) that we were canceling with Chaz Pools and wanted our money back. At this point, we had no other choice because it was obvious that since Joe passed away, the business was deteriorating quickly. And, truthfully we didn't trust that they were even going to be able to stay in business long enough to complete the job. And then we'd be out all that money. She just rudely responded ok. Never apologized, never tried to make things right! Absolutely nothing! So today my husband went into their store to pick up the check. When Mrs. Chaz saw him she was very nice and greeted him. However, when Joyce saw him she didn't say 2 words to him. She just called Mrs Chaz into the office and then several minutes later Mrs. Chaz came out with a check in hand and told my husband that she was sorry things didn't work out "but everything happens for a reason"! WTH DOES THAT EVEN MEAN? The business owner told a very unhappy customer that had done business with them for almost 18 years and had wanted to continue doing business with them but had been lied to (multiple times) and had been treated so shabbily by their employee that they no longer wanted to continue doing business with them and her response was that "everything happens for a reason". Obviously everyone has the right to make their own decisions on whether or not they want to do business with these people, but don't say you weren't warned!

Apparently, my order was entered incorrectly into their system and my order was canceled. I called the store and on the fourth attempt, I finally was able to speak to a team member. I asked for the general manager who needed to call me back as he was busy with a customer. Once the general manager called me back, he offered to enter my order back into the system and I would only need to come back into the store and pay for it again. Not a big deal, the issue was that the refrigerator would not be delivered on the promised date. I travel extensively for my job and curtailed my schedule for this delivery. The general manager did not offer any further discount or any type of recovery for my inconvenience. I understand that things happen, but how you deal with issues is what separates you from the competition. Unfortunately, the competition has won me over. It's a shame as this was the closest store where I could make such a purchase.

I knew what I wanted, but needed a store representative to write up the order. I did not want to go to the store only to find that there was no one on duty in that department, so I tried calling to see when someone would be there who could place the order. I called repeatedly for 3 days and was never able to reach someone who could help - my call would be transferred, no one would answer, it would be transferred again . . . etc. So I finally went to the store and asked them to page someone to come to that section. The person I asked checked the schedule and said that yes, the custom blinds person was there. I waited for about 10 minutes and never heard the page, so I went up front again. This time I did hear the page, but again I waited about 10 minutes and no one came. They paged a second time and still no one came. I went back up front to see what was going on, but this time couldn't get anyone's attention, so I left. I'm ordering from Home Depot instead. It cost 5% more, but at least I was able to get help! The lack of service here is really really bad!
