This is where the waterfall fountain blew up

One of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had. We waited for months for the spa. It kept getting delayed. Finally it was installed and 6 weeks later the waterfall feature literally exploded in a fountain. The control panel is also failing. I am disabled and use the tub to literally walk. Trying to get any answers is such a monumental chore. The repair manager will not return calls. They only respond if you go to the manufacturer for pressure and tweet. The owner assured us the parts were ordered days ago, but we can't get any response as to when they will come out to fix it. Meanwhile my walking is deteriorating again -- I have Limb-Girdle Muscular Dystrophy. If you are considering a spa purchase, investigate the service/repair record first. They are more than willing to sell you a spa, but abandon you when they have your money. Updates to follow.

Hard to make it to this location, but it's my nearest one since they closed their Wayne store…read more I don't shop here for the more obvious stuff most people do (furniture, home decor, junk food). I get random stuff that happens to be a really good buy compared to offers elsewhere. They have some quality pet supplies for great prices! They carry a brand made by AKC (American Kennel Club) that makes wonderful leashes and collars. I suppose this is a contract between AKC and BigLots because I've never seen AKC items elsewhere. I've looked over the packaging to see if it's a charity promo or something, and they don't detail anything like that. But since AKC is a nonprofit, I am sure something is going to them if the items bear their name, even if BigLots takes a cut. (I will do all I can to support AKC, because they offer free registration/monitoring for any brand of pet microchip so you never have to pay the monthly ripoff that the brand name places charge.) BigLots also has AKC rawhides in a HUGE 21" size for only $10 each at holiday time (Nov/Dec). I have been stocking up every year for the past 3 years. I buy at least 8 of those suckers to get our dogs through the year. These are more than double the price on Amazon or elsewhere for similar sizes. There are other "no name" brands here that offer decent quality at very reasonable prices. I've been buying their 6pk of paint rollers here for more years than I'd like to remember. The price has gone up from the major steal it used to be, but it's still far better than comparable quality at Lowes/Depot. I have gone through at least a hundred rollers after renovating 2 homes, refinishing loads of furniture, as well as my art projects. Another really awesome deal is their shoebox storage containers. They have a snap lid, with those flaps that come down and lock it. These have been only $1.25 forever. For a quarter more, the quality is a LOT better than the Dollar Tree ones whose lids don't have locking flaps, and don't stay on as well. BigLots will also have tech accessories for good deals. I can't vouch for the whole array of offerings, but the chargers and earbuds have worked reliably and have been cheaper than other discount places (Five Below, and randomly craft stores like ACMoore have tech accessories + offer cheap deals with their 50% off coupons). I have also gotten decent 100% cotton beach towels here, in a healthy thickness. Again, pretty random, but whoever their seasonal buyer is, I have to pay some respect. They really have some great deals to snatch up season-to-season, though you do need to get them when you see them, because they will sell out, and if they come around the next year, it will be another color or pattern, so make your set when you see it! Their cotton balls are also another random good deal. Their 100% Cotton Balls, in 300 quantity (and a nice jumbo size) are $2.50, which way beats Dollar Tree's 100 count of puny sized balls. My only gripe is that corporate is pretty stingy about coupons. BigLots rarely sends me coupons (probably because I never make it down there), and when they do, they're normally for useless stuff, or spend amounts that only apply to those shopping for furniture. Gimme a % off or a $5 off $25 some time, please! The Aston location is in a shopping center just off Five Points, simple to get to, especially if you come in the back way, around from Knowlton, through the residential neighborhood behind it. Staff is always friendly, and very helpful. Any time I have needed help they are always on the ball, and totally responsible and thorough about leading me right to what I need, or getting it from the back. Extraordinary team!

I am a former furniture sales associate, so I know some things about the furniture business…read more I've driven by here a lot and since I was passing by again and had some spare time, I thought I'd check this place out. It's all "case goods." No sofas. No mattresses. They specialize in wood furniture and knickknacks... Like I saw a sign for sale that said "Don't make me bring out my mom voice!" Lol... The values are good. If a piece needs to be ordered, it takes 6 to 8 weeks to get it. And you can select different finishes and different sizes. The owner, Kelly, oversees every deal. She makes sure everything goes smoothly. Most of the products have a rustic or distressed style. You can order furniture unstained too if you want. The bulk of their lineup is made by Lancaster County craftsmen, so if you buy here your dollars are supporting Pennsylvania businesses. TIP: If you are coming here, parking is A LOT easier in the Village Green Shopping Center parking lot next door. I recommend you park there and walk over, because if you park in front of the store, it's going to be a bitch to back out with busy Concord Road being right there.

There is plenty of parking available. Our HOA specifies certain paint colors and stains so we requested to see them and they were promptly shown to us. She also let us know what the most popular choices were by our neighbors and recommended how much to get based on what neighbors typically purchase. There were three employees working even though we were the only customers. Someone else did come in afterwards and was also able to receive help from another employee. This has happened every time that I have been in here. It always seems like there's a lot of employees for the amount of customers but it definitely allows them to provide good customer service instead of having the bare minimum working and customers having to wait one at a time. Cara was helping us and she had excellent customer service skills. We really enjoyed her personality and she made the errand a pleasant experience for us. They were having a sale on paints and stains and we were also able to apply a coupon I received for signing up for their emails. So for two gallons of stain it cost us $58. I'm not sure how great that is price-wise but I don't like paying anything over five dollars on anything other than clothes and shoes so it was still a higher price than I was expecting. LOLOLOL!!! Their WiFi is crappy so if you need access to a coupon or anything else on your phone, you may want to bring it up before you enter or take a photo of it prior to your arrival. I had to walk outside and into the street in order for my email to work. I would recommend this store and this location for your paint needs. Shout out to Cara for being awesome!
