They keep sending me invoices for a job that was paid at the time of service. When I produce the cleared check they blame it on their bookkeeping incompetence, but now has all the feel of a scam. I suspect we will wind up in court. Be sure you know what your getting into with these people. read more

We were scheduled for an estimate today At 11:30 AM. We received a call at 9:15 AM asking if we could change our time to around 2:00 PM. I was told if I couldn't they could still make the original appt time. I said we need the original appt time. The estimator said that was fine. At 11:08 AM she calls me back to say she can't make it and would need to schedule it another day. The experience was unprofessional and no way to conduct business. I had Gutter Guys install new gutters and guards a few years ago and was led to believe that I would never have to clean the gutters again. As they were leaving I was given a gutter brush to clean out any debris that accumulated on the gutters. The whole idea was that I wouldn't have to clean them at all. First red flag. Every spring since, the gutter guards have become clogged with maple tree whirlybirds and need to be cleaned. I'm short and can barely reach the first floor gutters and the second floor gutters are impossible to reach. They recently told me that they have second and third floor brushes. This is impossible for me to manage such a ridiculously long brush. The worst part is that the porch gutters have leaked ever since they were installed. Gutter Guys came out several times and decided that caulk was the answer. Did not work! Recently I was told that they needed to replace the porch gutter with a larger one and the cost would be $700.00+. I refused to pay for the replacement, and a few weeks ago they finally agreed to replace it at no charge. The new gutter has leaked ever since it was installed! I sent video of the leak to two people at the company and still have not heard back. read more

Called The Gutter Guys and they were out in a little over a week for an estimate. Buddy W was extremely helpful in determining the proper gutters to install. We lucked out and the crew was able to come out a week early. Slight issues with the installation in the rear of the house. Called Buddy W and he had the crew out the next morning to correct the issue. Gutters look great. The crew did an excellent job cleaning up the job site. They came and put on the rain spout. That's it Never cleaned the gutters??? That's what we needed the most!! None of them, and left their coca cola bottles on my landscaping wall. No message that they would be back. My husband decided to look at the gutters and only then, knew that they weren't done. Called and explained what the situation was. They said they should have left a note. No note. No communication at all. They scheduled to come back out the following week. Did their job and killed 3 potted plants with our hose that they used and just left them laying upside down . Husband hasn't checked the gutters yet, hopefully they were done. We just had The Gutter Guys replace 200 lineal feet of vented soffit, fascia, 6" K gutter, and 3"x 4" downspouts and could not be more pleased. The crew was very polite, cleaned up every night, and went to great lengths to make sure the install was top notch. We had some very difficult existing conditions (e.g. the new soffit had to be set at a certain height to not interfere with our back door opening. Seems easy, but with a ranch and adding a new and deeper profile invisibly vented Certainteed soffit) they had to carefully coordinate their install. Being in construction myself, I expect not only great workmanship, but great communication and customer service. We received all of that and more. read more

This is in my opinion a very good company. They install gutters and gutter guards and downspouts on my house maybe two years ago. I live in a Windy area and one of my downspouts fell. I called them in a couple days they were here and fixed it. More recently birds moved in and build a nest in the gutter. I called them, and again within two days they were here got the bird nest out and fix the very small hole. I would recommend them to friends and family read more

After an initial misunderstanding regarding a deinstall and reinstall of our 18 month old gutter guards because we are having a roof installed due to hail damage- the owner called me and we spoke directly. There was some confusion on the cost from what I thought it would cost vs. what was quoted. After some discussion we agreed there was a misunderstanding when I bought the gutter guards on what the cost would be if a roof needed to be installed (how often do you get a roof done?). Long story short the guards have been in place 18 months and I haven't had to clean them out once so they do an excellent job keeping leaves out of the gutters. They are making a special trip out to accommodate our roofing schedule. read more

I checked reviews and asked around and The Gutter Guys were highly recommended. Josh came out and answered all of our questions. He was extremely thorough and friendly. He assured us they would do a great job. Also, if any problems came up when doing the job, there wouldn't be any add on charges. The guys came out and ran into a few problems. They worked hard for 2 days, making sure everything was right. They kept us up to date on everything. They did a wonderful job installing the gutters and guards and we couldn't be happier. I've used The Gutter Guys in the past for routine seasonal cleanings. Buddy has been great to work with, so I finally decided to go all in on Gutter Guards, especially given the number of pine and maple trees I have on my property. Setting up everything with Buddy was no hassle, everyone in the office I spoke too was great, and Al, Chuck and Shawn were friendly and did what seems to be (so far) a perfect install. Minus one star because there were some fragments, piles of leaves, and spots of adhesive on my patio that I had to clean up. I would certainly recommend them for a long term gutter solution. read more

I called to get an estimate in March, Ryan came out, gave me an estimate and a fair price. I stated I didn't want anything done until after the 25th of April; Ryan said, Ok, we'll be here that week depending on the weather. Well, May and June were pretty miserable with rain, so I figured, they got backed up. So, in late June, I called to see where on the schedule I was and when they'd be here,and the CS rep said, "Let me check and give you a call back" A week or more later I get a call, "They'll be there next week, or the week after, the week after definitely". It is now mid-August, and still no gutters,so I cancelled the job. read more

Very unprofessional! Gave us a verbal quote in early April. Sounded kind of sketchy. He didn't even give us a written proposal as we asked. We went with someone else.. He called almost 2 months later and said that he could come out "Tomorrow " to get started. We never authorized him to do anything. He claimed that he had already purchased $800 in materials. Absolutely do not waste your money!! They were the cheapest quote I got - but probably for good reason. Less than a year from install and I am already having issues with their installation. Downspout drains were installed with a pitch back toward the house and therefore are holding stagnant smelly water that is growing mosquitoes. Two spots have been leaking along the roof since install. They will come out to take a look and will charge me if they deem it something that is maintenance related rather than install. Of course they will - to squeeze in another $150 maintenance charge. I asked if they could just come check their work, and that if they deemed it "maintenance" to please just leave it alone. They said it costs $150 just to send the truck out. I asked how much is the labor then? She said "nothing." So I have to agree to the $150 charge just to get them to come check the quality of their work. All I am asking is for them to back up their work by checking it as it is less than a year old. No one should have to agree to a maintenance charge for this. We will see what they say when they get here.... Please do not recommend this place to anyone - terrible. read more

I called for a quote on cleaning and within a day, Allison was at my house to conduct the estimate. My gutters were very old (30+ years) and I asked her to quote me for new ones. As soon as I saw the prices, I went with the upgraded 6" gutters. The prices were VERY reasonable and on top of that, they offered SAME AS CASH financing for up to 24 months! Mind you, those gutters will be paid off well in advance of that but it was a nice buffer to have to be able to pay a little more here and a little less there (beware-make sure you are an aggressive payor, which I am, before you get into this loan because the interest rates are formidable once the payment period is up). It was easy to set up the loan through the company they work with and in exactly ONE WEEK from the time Allison was out, I had beautiful, new gutters! They even matched the extensions that go over the roof to my shingles. They look very nice and the installers worked quickly and efficiently. Allison and the office staff were very good about keeping in touch throughout the entire process. (I'll also note that my experience was during the COVID-19 pandemic but their service and performance never skipped a beat!) VERY happy with this experience and I will definitely recommend to anyone needing new gutters! read more

I am writing a follow up on the Gutter Guys, but the number of stars and my review still remains LOW One of the owners did call me after I called them three times to leave a message that their response on Yelp was not exactly portraying the correct situation They stated in the Yelp review response that now that they were aware of the situation, they would be happy to try to satisfy me 1) They had been aware of the situation two and a half weeks before my complaint on Yelp 2)They did nothing at all to respond on their own till I wrote the review 3) It did not take them any time at all to come out and sell me their product 4) After emailing numerous times and getting no response for two and a half weeks, I called and got treated like they were doing me a favor for looking into this situation and then the answer was the same- we will come out and fix it a million times BUT WILL NOT REFUND ANYTHING AND WILL NOT REMOVE THE PRODUCT UNLESS WE CHARGE YOU FOR IT IF YOU NEED GUTTERS MY EXPERIENCE HAS BEEN FINE BUT NOT FOR GUTTERGARD Maybe if things work and you are not in a wooded area or you do not have two roofs joining together, you might have luck with the product, but as far as communication the company employees I dealt with were not the kind of people I want to do business with The owner responded with the same answer - that they would come out as many times as it took to fix it ,(even though I was told by their crew that came out to fix it the first time "that there was nothing else that could be done besides what they already done - diverters,checking installation,slope, etc.) BUT THERE WOULD BE NO REFUND AND THEY WOULD NOT REMOVE THE GUTTERGARD BUYER BEWARE- what does a guarantee really mean? We are extremely happy with the gutters they put on. I'll admit I was skeptical when I saw the design, specifically because of the black on top. But it blends right in with the roof, just like the salesman said it would. They did a fabulous job of explaining their product and the job was completely done while we were at work. We have had no overflow problems since they were put on and we don't have to worry about cleaning them! They allowed us to pay in installments over about 5 months, which was very helpful to us. Awful. Hired the ones from De. Took 5 weeks to finally show up after several phone calls and a threat to cancel. And then did a sloppy job. They don't actually "clean" the gutters as much as flush them with hose. Wherever the wet debris landed, lawn,sidewalk driveway shrubs, stuck to house - thats where it stayed. If you can't do this unskilled task properly, you won't be able to do anything right. read more

I had Gutter Guys out for a quote in early January. I relayed to sales member that I would be having my roof replaced in next month or so and he advised that it would not be an issue for them to come out and remove the gutter guards. Gutters installed on 1/15 and they were back on 3/9 to remove the guards. Here is the catch. No one told me it would cost me close to $500 to have them removed and reinstalled. If that had been told to me up front, I would have waited to have GG install the gutters. Gutters are great, but customer service, not so good. PSA direct from the Gutter Guys - get it in writing, that is what Rich the owner told me in hindsight. read more

I don't normally write reviews, but, I just had to share my experience. I did post this same review on The Gutter Guys website earlier today. We have a large hip style roof with attached garage and there were many issues with improperly installed gutters from the original builders of our home. From the salesperson Allison through to our installers lead by Paul, the experience was very professional. Everyone was very courteous. The Gutter Guys came out when they said and took the time needed to install my gutter and gutter guard correctly. We had 4 inches of rain over the past 24 hours and the gutter and guard performed as advertised. The follow-up from the office (sorry I don't remember the nice lady's name) to make sure we were satisfied was very refreshing in today's market when no one seems to care after the sale. April 19th 2017 This outfit was contracted by me to do a gutter replacement and a full gutter cleaning. The new gutter piece appears to be installed correctly and looks good (will have to see how it is once we have rain), however the problem started with the cleaning and a small repair on a gutter they were also supposed to do as per a signed contract I made with them when their agent came out to do my appraisal. On the day of the repair and cleaning, two guys came out for the job and while one pulled down the old gutter and replaced with a new one, the other guy started hosing down my gutters on my front roof. After finishing the front roof I believe he may have done the 2nd floor gutter (opposite side of the gutter replacement) since I saw his ladder up against the side of my house. After an hour and a half or so they packed up their truck and left. I assumed everything was done correctly but then saw the repair of small holes in my gutter in back had not been performed (despite my signed contract). I then became suspicious of what else had not been done and got a ladder to check out the lower level gutters I could reach. The gutter with the small holes had dirt in it and no water as it had not been cleaned at all. I brought the ladder around to a side gutter and found worse this time. I was able to run my finger through a half inch thick layer of sludge that had collected and had not been cleaned. By this point I had my doubts if anything had actually been cleaned anywhere since these were the easiest gutters to reach and they were left a mess. I called the gutter guys and they were apologetic and took responsibility (I thought) for what had happened. They offered to start the cleaning over from scratch (an "entirely new ticket" they said) on another day and I agreed. This time when they arrived I was on the phone for a short call and did not come out immediately to talk to them. To my amazement they were finished in less than 10 minutes and left my house. I then went over to my surveillance videos and saw that one guy had only gone up on my front roof (the lowest one of my 3 story house) and sprayed water for 5 minutes while the other guy took pictures or videos of him on the roof. No other gutters were cleaned or even looked at other than the guy with the camera having made a trip to the back of my house to take a picture of the gutter with the holes in it. Now I wait for a refund on the cleaning (which they have promised me) and ponder where the videos of this cleaning job "from scratch" should go. In any case I have the signed contract which the (manager/boss ?) apparently will not live up to saying they don't fill holes in gutters (again, it is in the signed contract), and I have many different video views of the entire "job" they did the 2nd time they came out to my house from all angles of the property. I also have a 3 year labor warranty on this gutter repair job. Since it is on the same paper with the fix of the holes listed I wonder about the value of that as well ... read more

Awesome customer service and I have the best looking gutters on the block. Buddy came out and gave me a quote quickly. He brought a model of the gutter guards and thoroughly explained how they would work. They replaced all my clogged gutters in less than a week. The workers were very friendly and took pride in their work. They wanted to make sure I was completely satisfied with everything. We have a lot of trees in our yard and the clogged gutters were causing water issues. I'm actually excited for rain and fall now. read more

The service was completed on a day that had not been scheduled, half the gutters were left uncleared and the crew left all of their trash in my yard! Excellent gutters, design, and workmanship. Project was supervised by Ryan Wise with great follow-through. Bill and Cliff were the installation crew and did a superb job, especially with clean-up after the job. I had one corner of my basement that always had a puddle of water after a good rain because of bad gutters - Gutter Guys have solved this problem - after a torrential storm on the day of installation, my basement was bone dry. Terrible business mindset. I had a guy come out and give me a price quote to replace one section of gutter. I got the whole sales pitch with all their added stuff and the price for everything was out of reach - so I went with the basic replacement which I was told was going to be a good fit. I had to wait 5 days until the sales rep filed the paperwork. Then they scheduled to do the work only to get here and realize they had the wrong gutter clips. So they left,did not return that same day, a hurricane came into town and dumped water all over the front of my home, and then I get a phone call stating they did not factor in the price of the different clips and it was going to be $195 more! I told the sales rep that there were 3 scenarios where things did not end well and the customer was disappointed - 1: they did the job wrong; 2: they did not do the job they promised at all; or 3: I had to pay more for additional and undisclosed accessories. He said he would talk to the owner. The owner then calls me and tells me they can do the job but I would have to sign a piece of paper that holds them harmless if the gutter fails!!!!! What a bunch of idiots. You want the customer to be pleased - to give you good reviews, to tell your neighbors, to shout it from the rooftops. The company made a mistake, did not own up to it, tried to charge me more, and then tried to force shoddy work on me. Needless to say I canceled the work. read more

All I can say is that is you want poor service and the run around call these guys! The company rescheduled twice and then didn't do the work correctly. Had to call twice for them to come out and fix the problem. The only good thing is that they did come out and finally fix it after a couple weeks.
