They walked us through all the options, gave estimates for everything, even took drone shots of our roof so we could see exactly what work they proposed and why. They installed a rubber roof on our low-slope kitchen addition and did a very nice job of it. The one hiccup was that a contractor forgot to clean up all the nails before leaving. To my surprise, the owner of the company personally came out to apologize and went around our back yard with a magnet to clean up the remaining debris himself. Then he sent us a gift card as an apology. Highly recommend Class Roofing for your roofing job. Good people, good work.

It was either going to take over a week to see me, or they wouldn't repair windows that they didn't install. I found Hockessin Homeworks here, and even though they didn't have any reviews I decided to give them a try. I'm very glad I did. They stopped by the same day, took a look at the window and told me that they thought they could squeeze the job in before the end of the day. Sure enough, they were able to get the rotted wood replaced and the trim put back on & sealed within a few hours. The price was very reasonable. I will 100% be calling them again for repair needs.

It has been very frustrating to get a finished product from this company. I needed my front door…read moreand side lites replaced. First, they provided the wrong color - I asked for black and they brought dark brown and tried to convince me it was black. They ended up painting the door. Then the door would not properly close so they had to come back out to realign it. Then water seeped in when it rained because the door had not been properly sealed. And now finally the door is separating from the frame and is still not aligned. There is a draft and you can clearly feel the winter air coming through. Every time I request for someone to come out, I get a time frame that is rarely respected. As it stands I am still waiting for them to come out to seal and align the door. The door looks pretty, but the workmanship leaves a lot to be desired. Mind you this project cost me $4500 - does not at all seem worth it for all the trouble it has been.

All of the work has been very professional and high quality and all workers have been very qualified and friendly. An issue did come up recently and resolved well. Do not use PJ Fitzpatrick for your home remodeling project. This has been an absolute nightmare,…read moreand I would not want another homeowner to go through what my husband and I are dealing with right now. On May 20th, we hired them for a simple shower remodel. At first, everything looked fine and we believed the work had been done properly. Unfortunately, we later discovered the installer had damaged the drain during installation. Because we did not use the shower for more than 24 hours, there were no immediate signs of a problem. We began using the shower on May 22nd through May 26th. Then on May 26th, my husband noticed a large bubble forming in our den ceiling along with water dripping from it. He immediately contacted the company to report the issue. A technician came out to inspect the damage and confirmed the leak was coming from the newly installed shower drain. As the photos show, our ceiling had to be torn open because of the damage caused during the installation. Today is May 28th, and we are still dealing with the aftermath. We were told technicians would come today to repair the drywall and ceiling. I even received an email confirming the appointment, but no arrival time was provided. By 12:03 p.m., no one had shown up, and I had to contact the supervisor myself for an update. After damaging our home, why should I have to chase someone down for answers? The supervisor told me they should arrive around 12 p.m., which clearly did not happen. I then received another call saying the technician was running behind and would "maybe" arrive between 1:00 and 1:30 p.m. At this point, I am simply warning other homeowners. Save yourself the stress, time, money, and frustration. Please consider using another company.
