Do not use PJ Fitzpatrick for your home remodeling project. This has been an absolute nightmare, and I would not want another homeowner to go through what my husband and I are dealing with right now. On May 20th, we hired them for a simple shower remodel. At first, everything looked fine and we believed the work had been done properly. Unfortunately, we later discovered the installer had damaged the drain during installation. Because we did not use the shower for more than 24 hours, there were no immediate signs of a problem. We began using the shower on May 22nd through May 26th. Then on May 26th, my husband noticed a large bubble forming in our den ceiling along with water dripping from it. He immediately contacted the company to report the issue. A technician came out to inspect the damage and confirmed the leak was coming from the newly installed shower drain. As the photos show, our ceiling had to be torn open because of the damage caused during the installation. Today is May 28th, and we are still dealing with the aftermath. We were told technicians would come today to repair the drywall and ceiling. I even received an email confirming the appointment, but no arrival time was provided. By 12:03 p.m., no one had shown up, and I had to contact the supervisor myself for an update. After damaging our home, why should I have to chase someone down for answers? The supervisor told me they should arrive around 12 p.m., which clearly did not happen. I then received another call saying the technician was running behind and would "maybe" arrive between 1:00 and 1:30 p.m. At this point, I am simply warning other homeowners. Extremely disappointed and honestly shocked by the lack of professionalism and consideration for a customer's time. I had an appointment scheduled in advance, only to receive a cancellation 30 minutes before the appointment with the explanation that the business had a "scheduling conflict." I completely understand that unexpected situations and emergencies can happen. However, a scheduling conflict is something a business should be managing on its end--not something a customer should be forced to deal with at the last minute. Customers make arrangements, adjust their schedules, and sometimes travel specifically for an appointment. Our time is just as valuable as yours. Canceling an appointment with only 30 minutes' notice shows very little consideration or respect for the customer. If a customer canceled at the last minute, I highly doubt the business would consider that acceptable or professional. What is especially frustrating is that this could have and should have been identified much sooner. Better scheduling, communication, and basic professional courtesy should be the minimum expectation of any business. This experience has left a very poor impression and has seriously affected my confidence in this business. I would strongly encourage management to take a closer look at how appointments are being scheduled and how customers are being treated when mistakes occur. I value my time, and I expect a business I make an appointment with to value it as well. read more

I had PJ Fitzpatrick come out and give me an estimate to replace 17 windows. All I wanted was an honest estimate but that is not what this company is about. After hearing that the initial estimate was too high the salesman dropped the price by six thousand dollars. We said we would think about it and the next day we get another call from PJ Fitzpatrick saying that if I let a manager come to my house for a 20minute meeting the price will be dropped again. Its like dealing with a used car salesman. I know they probably learned this type of sale method in some class but it really makes them look shady. Signed contract 6 weeks ago for siding and we're told we'd have an appointment for measurements, then be put on the install schedule. We called 6 times and just get passed around. I requested an estimate to replace an existing storm/screen door. The existing door could not handle outdoor elements very well so I was hoping to find something a bit more suitable. The technician arrived on time and was genuinely trying to make sure he could provide an estimate for an appropriate product. He contacted his sales manager and had him on speakerphone. He explained the situation to his manager and told him that the customer was there with him. Whoever it was he was speaking with abruptly cut him off and said "Just sell her a f***ing door, just sell her a f***ing door". Wow, talk about awkward! Well, the installers were prompt and ready to work. They did a phenomenal job of installing my siding, soffit and fascia! They stayed for almost 13 hours to complete the work. Downside...they were Hispanic (not that this was an issue) and broke my hydrangeas, a lawn ornament, and urinated in my driveway! I fully understand having to relieve oneself, but the company should at least provide facilities for the workers! Five-gallon buckets with toilet seats are available for on-site use if the company would spend $50. There is no need to urinate in the dumpster which then drains onto my property!!! Got Very expensive quote for siding, windows and front door April 2026 A month later (June 2, 2026) when they came out to measure everything two days later they said the siding I order in a specific color was not available. Do you think they would have checked that in the month it took them to come out? Plus they didn't honor my request to have new construction windows use in the back of the house. I call certainteed about the siding and received a letter that that color siding was discontinued 2 years ago and 7 months ago ( September 1, 2023) . When I called to speak with the contractor and told them to cancel the entire project for selling something they can't deliver. I still haven't received the phone call back. The sales team were very professional and day of installation looked good even though they rescheduled us without letting me know the first arrangement was not happening. I was told it was because of a calendar issue. However, a few days after installation we were in our back yard and started finding nails. Then we looked all around the house and found new and old nails, warped pieces of metal. Very disappointing. The gutters looked good but the clean up was horrendous. Had siding replaced and windows wrapped. PJ Fitzpatrick once was great and worth the extra money, not so much now. Had a dozen problems with install being rushed. Communication was poor, calls not returned not a good thing. The onsite supervision was poor, not the supervisors just the fact they are spread so thin they don't get to watch over the work as truly needed. So, the customer is at the mercy of the sub-contractor hired for the work. Took 45 days to get all repaired and job completed. Having used PJs on several big projects, this time was not happy at all.
