When I realized I was getting ripped off by pool guys, I decided to give it a go. I went to this Leslie's location and Robert and Cesar helped me get situated. They answered all my questions and would kindly test my water whenever I brought it in. I'm highly satisfied with the customer service and quality of products. Say NO to pool guys! Believe me, these guys made it so simple with their guidance and of course Leslie's products. A test kit, liquid chlorine and muriatic acid is all you need. Optional: chlorine tablets with floater (I highly recommend it so you use less liquid chlorine to save money in the end). I also recommend a Zodiac FX6. I started off with a cheap robo vacuum and while it did the job, it did it poorly. Get a quality robo vacuum from the get-go. read more

I wish I could speak highly of the sales rep who helped me. He seems nice enough and professional, however he obviously did not know much about connections to pools. I told him I just bought an above ground pool by best way. I explained that it was 16 x 10 x 42 oval. I was there to buy a vacuum for my above ground pool he asked me how big the pool was and how big the connections were. I gave him the information on the pool but didn't know the connections size. He probably could've looked it up but instead he just sold me a very long hose the vacuum head and a pole. In case you haven't guessed, The hose did not fit my pool connection and I don't have an adapter. So I have to either go back and see if they have an adapter or order one online. read more

After major struggles balancing our chemicals using the Clorox pool app for our above ground vinyl pool, we spoke with Rob at a Leslie's in Alhambra. Rob was patient and professional but more importantly, he knew what he was talking about. He encouraged us to bring in a water sample and listened to me explain what had happened so far. We decided to bring in a sample and left spending far less than what I was spending on the Clorox system. Rob gave us detailed instructions for how to safely handle our over-chlorinated pool. Just applied the first dose of our recommended chemicals and our chlorine levels are already back on track.
