#51. BBQ Pork Vermicelli
HanNa P.

It was pleasant. We ordered Bbq Pork Vermicelli Salad, Traditional Spring Roll and Eye Round Steak Pho. They had a good number of items on the menu. The vermicelli noodles were cooked well. My husband said his Pho soup was flavorful too. Will be back if in the area. Workers were efficient. Fast service. We went on a weekend and it was not super busy. Inside was clean.

First time here introduced someone to some Viet food and they chose this place. Restaurant was pretty quiet when we got there. LeQuy's signature wings are good, I enjoyed the sauce that they used. We also got the hot pot wagyu beef with pho, as a Viet, it wasn't the BEST I've ever had but still up to par. I would come back again to try something else on the menu. Parking is easy, free parking lot and staff are friendly and fluent English speakers. Whatever questions u have about the food they will kindly let you know what's in each dish.

I came here in the morning and here's my experience: 1. Ambience 4/5: clean, brightly and had a lot of seats when I came. I liked the way they decorated some small VN traditional arts on the wall. Very cute! 2. Service: attentive and served quickly. 3. Food 3/5: I ordered Bun thit nuong tom nuong which had grilled pork, grilled shrimp, with thin vermicelli and vegetables. For personally, the fish sauce came with it was kinda sweet and the grilled pork was sweet as well. I liked how the smoky aroma from grilled shrimp, that was interesting. One minus was there was no peanut which was an important element to get the authentic taste of bun thit nuong. Overall, It was okay, not impressive by their food maybe next time I'd try some soup.

#70. Rock 'N' Roll Beef
Justine T.

Ordered: Fried Shrimp Dumplings - it was a good appetizer to start off with and was nicely fried and crispy--however, I wish there was more filling to wrapper ratio. Rock 'n Roll Beef - the overall dish had a good ratio of beef and veggies and a good amount of sauce that wasn't too sweet. The beef was cooked well and was nice and tender. The rice on the other hand was a bit on the dry side though. Eye Round Steak & Flank Pho - the overall dish hit the spot and was very comforting. The pho had a darker colored broth than what I'm used to, but nonetheless it was still flavorful and warmed up my body. There was a good amount of meat and noodle ratio and the pieces were tender. The flank had a chew to it which didn't bother me, but I wish the pieces were cut smaller like the eye round steak to make it easier to eat. Service was welcoming and fast and there's a good amount of booth seating. Overall, I'm open to eating here again and trying other items.

Vegan banh mi

My family in the bay really likes this place! Overall, our lunch at LeQuy was good. As a vegan, I was surprised to see that there was eggplant tofu clay pot (in menu) and vegan banh mi (it was shown on some screen as we walked in). I was excited to try the banh mi, but I was a bit disappointed with it: the bread was very good and lots of pickled veggies, but I would have liked more tofu. Everyone else seemed to enjoy their food, so I think I'll order something different next time! Service was good and attentive. Food came out quickly.

Meat Pho chicken

Update: Within 20 minutes of tasting the food I got sick. The "chicken breast" is so obviously turkey breast, it's honestly pathetic to lie about proteins, come on man. You shouldn't own a restaurant if you're going to do crap like that. This place owes me $60 bucks for this slop. I tossed the nasty pot rice with "beef" and the pho. The fried rice was given to someone else I didn't even taste it. My experience is based of of what I ordered from DoorDash and I won't be ordering again from this restaurant. I ordered for myself and another and we got this specialty clay pot rice and chicken breast pho. The clay pot rice "beef" was one of the worst tasting things I've ordered from a restaurant in years. This clearly was not the beef in the picture of the menu or any in the photos on this page and it was disgusting. The rice itself is not worth getting over regular fried rice, the flavor is nothing special. The noodles were a terrible texture, I thought they needed to be cooked more because the broth came lukewarm instead of piping hot like other places (who are farther away btw and still made it to me hot). The pho doesn't come with a bowl to eat it in... every other place I've gotten pho from has a bowl with the noodles and protein. I live in a hospital so this is a personal inconvenience because we only have little tiny bowls. I would consider it to be more thoughtful customer service to give a bowl. The broth is normal pho broth. Not bad. The chicken is a large portion and noodles too. They have young cono but juice which is good. But overall the flavor wasn't worth it for the price and the oversight on food.

Pork egg rolls

I had lunch at LeQuy for the first time a few weeks ago. It's on San Tomas Aquino at Campbell in the same strip as Dollar Tree and Grocery Outlet. We started with an order of fried pork egg rolls. Then I had the Beef Combination Pho (#33) and my friend had the #57 Grilled Shrimp & Chicken Vermicelli. Service was good--they did a good job refilling beverages and left us alone so we could talk. The food we tried was okay. The broth wasn't very flavorful. Nothing was bad, but I don't feel the need to rush back to LeQuy.

#23. Egg Rolls (3) - GT

Stopped by. It was my first visit. Quiet. Not many customers. I was surprised. Thought it would be packed based on so many reviews. The food was alright. The egg rolls didn't have as much flavor. My rice tasted good just not the wow factor I was looking for. don't think I'll come back.

I would say for a Monday and me craving pad Thai and my favorite pad Thai restaurant being closed, this was a decent save for my craving. I would give them a 3.5, only because I was craving pot Thai and granted they do not cook with any MSG, the pad Thai was a Vietnamese style and not a traditional Thai style of pad Thai. They barbecued chicken for Masselli on the other hand was marvelous!! Perfectly balanced cooked and great flavor!! Although I wish they had more pickled vegetables on the takeout version, but it was still delicious! The meal itself was so big it actually took me two sittings to finish hee. I did take out, so my order was done in about 10 minutes, and I was able to pick it up quickly. Apparently everybody else does takeout also at least on a Monday and there were six other people in line ahead of me picking up their order! Ambience was very clean and organized. But I didn't see anybody sitting there on a Monday around 7 PM. Lol. I will definitely go back again, but for their Vietnamese food and not so much the Thai version. Lol.

Waygu meat in the pho broth with fresh pho noodles

We got to the restaurant around 2:30pm on a Saturday for lunch. We were hungry. 1st meal of the day. About 10 minutes later we ordered fried calamari, wagyu pho, bun bo hue, and pork chop rice plate. The pork chop rice plate came out first, bun bo hue, calamari and lastly the pho. Food took a really long time to come out compared to other Vietnamese restaurants we have been to. Probably about 20 minutes for the first dish to come out while other dishes came out staggered. Rice plate presentation was nice. Wagyu meat came out on a plate (they did not skimp on the meat), broth in a bowl and fresh pho noodles in a separate bowl. The service and food were good so worth the wait. Probably not a good idea to come here if you're hungry due to long wait time for the food to be served. Would be a better idea to come when you start to feel hungry. Clean restaurant. Modern decor. Authentic Vietnamese food. Will definitely come back.

Food was mediocre and too oily. Have had much better Vietnamese food elsewhere. Not worth it.

Quality food, a deep menu much more then PHO (which is amazing). A nice family vibe to it and so consistent in what it does.

Never been there, but I remember seeing the place every time I drive down Hamilton Ave. to the gym. I was expecting a casual pho restaurant, but Khanh's was much nicer than I expected. They even had this zen garden connected to the restaurant that had a flowing fountain. We got to the restaurant around 7:30pm, and the place closed at 8pm. They let us sit down for dinner. Since we got there near closing time, we were the last party at the restaurant. i appreciated that the staff members didn't make us rush through dinner. They patiently waited for us to finish our food while tidying up the place. Overall customer service was great. Food came out fast, and our server was the sweetest elderly gentleman who smiled every time he came to our table. We shared veggie egg rolls, and they were deep fried perfection. Golden, crunchy, and packed with crisp lettuce and carrots. They came with fish sauce as the dipping sauce. My friend got beef pho, and I got a bbq chicken and shrimp vermicelli plate. We both enjoyed our dishes. I got to try the pho broth that I thought was fragrant and flavorful. My vermicelli plate was so satisfying, but I didn't feel stuffed after clearing the whole bowl. It was a great portion of food.

Turns out the photo I saw must've been old and they don't do dry hu tieu anymore. So instead, I got caramelized claypot catfish - been wanting to try this for a long time - and husband got pho. The waiter asked me if I wanted rice with the catfish but never mentioned it would be $3 extra. I've had plenty of so-so meals in the Bay but rarely bad so I was truly shocked by how bad this catfish was. Not only was it not caramelized but it did not taste fresh (freezer burn?) and was overcooked/boiled in a bland soy sauce soup. I forced myself to eat half just bc I needed to eat something but I didn't even take the rest home. My husband's pho was also very mediocre. Maybe we ordered the wrong things but it was truly appalling. Maybe I should've said something but I was too tired from the morning mishap. To add insult to injury, it was a very expensive meal ($52) with a 3% credit card surcharge. Oof, hope this review helps someone else not make the same mistake as us.

Everything was absolutely delicious, I especially enjoyed the flour sheet when dipped in the sauce, and the yam tempura. The mung bean tempura was also really interesting, it sort of looked and tasted like a muffin. I also got a pennywort juice since my Vietnamese friend said she drank it growing up in Vietnam and had never seen it on a menu in the US before. It was very interesting, not really sweet at all, I mostly liked it but it had a slightly weird aftertaste. The service was good enough, the waiters weren't super attentive or particularly friendly but our food came out quickly and we had no issues. The interior is spacious and clean. "The" Phin Coffee is a unique experience; you get to prepare the drink to your liking. The Milo Coffee and Nutella Banana Coffee became new favorites that are hard to find elsewhere. However the Egg Puff and the biscotti that comes with the Phin Coffee were more average. The service is friendly. I cleaned it up and the front desk person, Ari, also helped clean the spill off the floor. After everything was cleaned, I asked if we could re-do her drink and Ari at the front said their "policy is that they will not re-do a drink if it has been spilled and if we want another drink we have to pay for it". She had a bad attitude on top of everything. It was an accident and very embarrassing, and the least they could do is give the girl another drink. She literally had one sip. I understand if someone walks out then comes back saying they spilled and needed a new drink, but she saw the whole thing happen. I have never heard of this policy anywhere else. Maybe it shouldn't be an entire blanket policy and they should make exceptions. I've been here in the past with friends too and the same person, Ari, has always had a horrible attitude. She should not be working here.
