This particular store has a wide selection of frames, both regular glasses & sunglasses. The prices are competive, especially when compared to the small boutique stores. Where this store really shines is the staff. They work at finding you a frame that looks good. But also fits good. I have a wide bridge, so the staff showed me the frames that really fit, and even though they were putting in a lot of energy, there was no pressure put on me to purchase. This is a big difference than other lenses crafters and similar glass chains. At similar stores I've experienced more pressure to buy and less focus on quality service. I went in for a routine eye exam, and while the associates were completely useless, the doctor was very kind and helpful. I got my updated prescription and walked out the door. Will I return? Unless I get vision insurance...yes. Do I prefer the associates at Cohen's Fashion Optical in the same mall? Also yes. I had such a great experience at Lens Crafters yesterday! I came here for an eye appointment and new glasses and everything turned out amazing. The appointment was with the Dr. Sara and she was so nice and answered all my questions. I told her I really did not want to do the eye drop dilation and she was like that's no problem we have a thing where we can just take a picture now! I am so happy about that because I hate eye drops so much! The appointment went super fast and they wrote me a new prescription for some new glasses :). My insurance Gave me a nice credit on glasses so I ended up not needing to pay for frames and only a small portion of the lenses. The man who helped me, Travis was very friendly and told me my glasses would be ready in 1 hour! I have never heard of getting your glasses same day before let alone in one hour! That was so awesome! Rachel the manager is awesome and all the staff members are very helpful. Purchased new glasses that were ready in an hour. No surprises here. After only 4 months with my new glasses, the arm falls off. I drive immediately to LensCrafters in Mt Kisco. I was told there was no one on duty that could help me. No optometrist, no tech and NO manager to complain to. I was given an 877# to call. Of course, it is impossible to get thru to anyone even after going thru all of the prompts. I called the store immediately on my return home. I finally got someone on the phone who promised to find someone for me to talk to. He did call back to tell me that I could pick up my glasses that they had been fixed. I therefore drove back to Mt Kisco where I was presented with THREE pairs of glasses. None of which belonged to me. I finally walked out with my pair. Upon returning home, it became quickly obvious that someone put the wrong sized screw into the arm of my glasses. I expect they will fall apart this weekend again. Do not shop here. This is the worst customer service ever. I forgot to mention the girl behind the counter told me the closest store to Mt Kisco is Jefferson Valley. Someone needs a geography lesson. read more

I called and asked if they could measure my daughters Pupilary distance if I took her in. They said yes. I went in and had them price putting new lenses in her glasses. Unfortunately they were three times more than what I can usually get for lenses and frames. The optician then turned nasty. Refused to measure her PD. I offered to pay for a medical exam. They said no. The did not have a written policy for this and told me otherwise. We usually go to them for exams but no more. Wasted half an hour and dealt with a nasty optician. I've always gone to this LensCrafters for eye exams and frames. Just like the one I visited in NYC, the frames I have had a screw that kept coming loose with a lens popping out. I brought them into this location and a polite and attentive gentleman (Calvin) fixed the frames and screw immediately. Seems every LensCrafters I've been in have had this kind of service. A new prescription did not wok for me, and after my optometrist wrote a new prescription, this store offered to put in new lenses at no charge. They also replaced parts on my old glasses.
