Stop by without an appointment to get my exam and a replacement glasses because being a bone head, I lost my good pair. Talk about VIP service!! The doctor and associates were all very attentive. Alexander and Annie felt like instant friends. They help manage the limited time I had because I had to get to a lunch date with a friend. I made it on time due to their sense of urgency. They also didn't make me feel bad at all with all the scabs I had on my face and all over my neck due to having skin tags and moles removed the day before, most people would of looked at me like a had a bad case of the ticks. The staff here is amazing. I come here all the time with my family to get our glasses cleaned. I come here weekly and never complain about providing that service. Melissa leads a great group here. The right lens of my prescription sunglasses fell out for the umpteenth time. Usually I bring them to my eye doctor to fix because that's where I bought them, but she's in Burbank and I was at the Paseo, so I asked LensCrafters instead. The manager, Melissa, said they could fix them right away. While her co-worker Alexander worked on the glasses, Melissa gave stickers to my young sons who were getting fidgety. She was professional and friendly, as was Alexander. He repaired the sunglasses via a new screw that tightened the frames and kept the lens in place. He said the old screw was the wrong kind for my frames, which is why it kept falling out. I couldn't believe my eye dr used the wrong screw and that's why the lens kept popping out! On top of that, Alexander replaced the nose guards, which had seen better days. Best of all -- it was free! I offered to pay and was happy to do so because they saved me a trip to Burbank with fidgety kids. But Melissa wouldn't take any money. I like my eye dr and will continue to see her for exams, but it may be time to start going here for actual glasses. read more

Ok, I worked with Melissa, Estevan and Emin Mikaelian and they were WONDERFUL! I'm very pleasantly surprised! I had broken my previous pair of glasses which I had paid a LOT of money for and frankly, they never worked well for me. So when they broke I was almost glad. The service and staff is so amazing here! Amanda and Melissa are extremely friendly and approachable. I loved that I was able to still see them smile behind their masks. The staff really seemed to care and take interest in making my experience a great one. The office ambiance also helped with my customer satisfaction because it has a very professional yet relaxing and modern vibe. They also do a great job ensuring Covid safety measures. I was also impressed with their latest technology, which I've never seen at my past optometrist's office. They also have a variety of frame selections! Dr. Emin Mikaelian took his time answering my questions, not once did he make me feel rushed. He made me feel much better about the concerns I had and gave great suggestions. Don't believe all of the good reviews. Every time a bad review gets put up, 10 fake rave reviews follow. My glasses were very expansive and didn't work. They guarantee to make it right if they don't work, absolutely not true. The doctor was really great, good prescription and very knowledgeable. The lady who was in charge of the sales floor was dismissive and basically told me the glasses didn't work because I wasn't used to them. I'm no optometrist but certainly know when a pair of glasses are unusable. My second pair for use at work have never been used as the lenses are way off from where they should be. She shushed me and told me to come back in a week. Did that and the person working that day told me the pair were exactly as they should be and wouldn't fix them. On a side note I took the prescription to another eye doctor and it was spot on, so the doctor is good. Got new glasses from the new place and they are fine. Very telling... Never, I mean never pay these people to care for your eyes. LensCrafters is anything but craftsmanship. It's junk. read more

Joey is the goat... Hands down such a big life saver. I recent got glasses and came to California for vacation. During the drive, I realized they were sitting super tight. When I walked into lenscrafters Joey instantly welcomed us and had such a positive personality. He knew exactly what to do with my glasses and even noticed my astigmatism granted I didn't get my glasses done there. My appointment was with Dr. Emin Mikaelian, and what a delightful surprise he turned out to be! This is a hidden gem with incredible staff! Not only was Amanda extremely helpful and patient as I called to get directions to the new location (I wasn't familiar with the area!), but she worked with me and still accommodated for my tardiness. Luz checked me in and did my initial tests before seeing Dr. Tang. She was so kind as well, guiding me through while answering my questions. First time meeting Dr. Tang felt as if I was seeing an old friend-- so friendly, so knowledgeable, and answered all of my questions. Great service! We had 2 appointments. No waiting for either of them. The Optometrist was very thorough. The person helping us order glasses, made sure we received the best deal. We had a few choices. We could of used a AAA discount, our vision insurance or grand opening discount. Since we have great vision coverage, we used that. Highly recommend this location!! read more

Wow!!! When my insurance changes from VSP to EyeMed, I was bummed. I was going to the same optometrist for 15 years. But after all my colleagues were telling me how great our insurance worked with LensCrafters, I decided to give it a shot. I chose this location versus Macy's or Santa Anita because the inside a store model turned me off. Anyway, I'm so glad I did!!! The staff is WONDERFUL. The customer service is some of the best I've ever encountered and I shop at bougie places! I was not expecting them to have ALL the designers they did. Tom Ford, Burberry, Prada, Gucci, Tiffany, they have it all. The only brand they don't carry is Chanel but very, very few optometrists do. Dr. Tang was super sweet and great towards my little one and everyone helped her choose her first pair of glasses! She feels so chic. I have been seeing an eye doctor since I was 12 years old. I am currently 31 years old, and my most recent visit to the LensCrafters at the paseo Pasadena CA is hands down the best eye care experience I have had thus far. I was greeted with a warm hello and helped immediately. The manager Mel was extremely kind as she handed me off to Alexander for my initial intake. Alexander made me feel super comfortable while conducting the usual preliminary eye tests. After finishing the tests I waited a very short time to be seen by Dr. Emin Mikaelian. The doctor asked questions I have never been asked in my 19 years of visiting eye doctors, such as the quality of my night vision and my overall satisfaction with the lenses I have been prescribed for years. He recommended a new monthly lens that is extremely comfortable compared to my old contact lenses. I was truly satisfied with my exam experience. After the exam was all said and done Alexander assisted me in finding a new pair of glasses. Alexander gave me a short tour of the stores designer inventory and then left me to browse which I greatly appreciated. He checked in from time to time and when I had narrowed my decision down to three frames he was so nice to help me decide which frame best fit me. Alexander and I then sat down while he took some measurements for my new frames. I was about to lose my FSA money, but my boyfriend hopped on the internet and found that LensCrafters in Pasadena was open, for the last minute 2021 crowd. It was bustling when I arrived and I was greeted cordially. I arrived 15 min. before my exam by the doctor, so that I could browse their selection of glasses. They had a FANTASTIC selection of glasses! I was provided with hand sanitizer and given a tray, to adhere to their covid protocol, any frames that you touch and tried on, you place in your tray as you walk around looking, so that they can be sanitized before putting them back on display.... Impressive protocol, in these covid times. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Dr. Mikaelian was so amazing! I have never had a more thorough, friendly, knowledgeable and diligent doctor explain every procedure that he was doing, and explain, in depth, the results of all the tests that he performed on my eyes. The equipment that he had was so high tech, and accurate. The prescription that I will be receiving is astounding. I can't wait to get all of my glasses. I got 3 pair! April 30, 2023 I walked into the LensCrafters on 300 E Colorado Blvd in pasadena California to do a return. I brought in the document that came in with the glasses plus my order information on my email. I was informed by Alex that he couldn't find my order therefore could not do the return. Alex told me to call customer service therefore they could provide instructions on how to complete the return. Alex then suggested I should come back another day when the manager was available to be assisted. If it's a hassle to return an online purchase in store and the associates at the store cannot complete the task why does LensCrafters even offer in store returns. It's inconvenient to tell a customer to come back another day when a knowledgeable person can complete the task. Had to drive over to the LensCrafters in Glendale to do a return. Completely inconvenient for a customer. LensCrafters needs to provide better training for their associates read more
