This parking spot is for handicap and just because I didn't put up My handicap plaque someone from the Lens Crafters decided to be nasty and write Me nasty note. The fact that they went out of their way to write Me a note is beyond crazy. They obviously have no customers to help instead they're over there, writing notes and leaving them people's cars. I've been coming to this LensCrafters location off and on for some years now and it's mostly a pretty decent experience. I have VSP insurance and I find that they have good deals here on glasses and the contacts when paired with my benefits. I also have Kaiser insurance but still prefer to come here bc the selections, prices, and service are far superior. Dr Ly is very thorough. This last time I saw Dr. Kimura and he was very nice but not as thorough as Dr Ly. But I liked him. Usually I only come in for contacts but since it's been almost 10 years since I had new glasses I figured it was time for an update haha! I rarely wear my glasses bc I prefer the contacts but my frames were on their last legs and my prescription needed an update as well. They had a decent selection of modern, trendy, or even more traditional frames and I found a Burberry pair that I just loved - and the prices were surprisingly very reasonable - even for Burberry! I had been having some issues with the comfort of my previous brand of contacts and the contacts that Dr Kimura switched me to have been a huge improvement! I'm very pleased now that I've finally received all my contacts and my glasses. But getting my order was quite a challenge this time for some reason. They didn't have the trial contacts in stock during my exam so they had to be ordered for my fitting. After two weeks went by and me calling and calling to ask - no one could help me. So I went back in to find out what was going on since I was running out of contacts. They didn't have my trial lenses in yet so they gave me some to hold me over. Another week later and I finally get a call saying my trial lenses are in so I go to pick them up and lo and behold they're the SAME BRAND that they gave me to "hold me over" the week before - so either they had the lenses this whole time or they didn't give me the right ones or something - I went in to discuss with them and it's still a mystery. So the office is a tad disorganized and you really have to stay on top of them. But once all that got sorted out and I placed my final order, my contacts were shipped to my home in record time and my glasses came in much faster than expected. It all worked out in the end and the staff are always very friendly. They take walk ins but I highly recommend to make an appointment bc it's much faster. When it was time to finally place my order, the gentleman that went over all the options with me was very kind, patient, and knowledgeable- I feel like I had a good understanding of my insurance coverage and all the discounts and options etc. I'll definitely be a returning customer. read more

I was here about 2 weeks ago, I have never been here before. I own a pair of glasses frames that needed repair, a gentlemen by the name "joe" assited me. I thought my frames would be done. Since they were in bad shape. Joe told me, he could see what he could do as far as repairing my frames. I left my glasses for a couple of hours with him, until they were ready, which he did. I then arrived later on, to pick up my frames I was impressed joe, had gone above and beyond to put my frames back together, I was very thankful. My prescription glasses are my everyday use, so the fact that he went above and beyong to get my frames fixed i was absolutely happy. So thanks Joe very much! I booked an eye exam appointment for myself and my daughter. We weren't greeted, or asked if we needed help. They automatically charged us for the retinal exam without our consent which they put the cost towards our glasses but if we decided not to purchase glasses it would have been another issue. The only person with experience was the doctor and Joesph, who helped me with purchasing my glasses. The next day I called to go over my invoice because the cost wasn't adding up to my insurance co-pay benefits. The person who answered the phone, Joey, was extremely rude and wouldn't give me any information over the phone and asked for me to come in. I then tried to ask general questions about the cost for exams and glasses with my type of insurance and again he refused to help me while being condescending and rude. I ended up calling another LensCrafters in West Covina and asked the same questions and the representative answered them with no problem. I called Joey back to let him know that I was able to get help from another store location and to treat people better, but all he kept saying was "yeah, okay, sure", and hung up on me. Store manager Joey is rude, I called him to discuss a note that his employee Estevan left on my account to come back and get another pair of glasses because the pair that I spent so much money on including warranty are defective. Mind you the note that Estevan left did not give me a timeframe to come back and get the glasses. It did take me some time to come back, but since he didn't give me a timeframe, I wasn't worried as I hadn't had time. I was trying to talk to Estevan before I went into the store so I called a few times and I could never get a hold of him and they kept telling me that they would call me back. When I finally spoke to somebody they stated I had only two weeks to come back, but Estevan did not say that. The Manager Joey admitted that there was no note stating I only had two weeks to come back and that's when he started acting in such a condescending, rude way saying that I need to think about what is reasonable and 30 days is what is reasonable. He could only help me get a new pair of glasses if I dish out another $50. He ended the call by hanging up on me when I asked to speak to someone higher than him. This is not the first time I had gotten not so great customer service, but this was too much. I will never go back there again. In the picture included the glasses are really wide and they do not sit comfortably around my ears at all. "Store manager" is rude. I arrive for my appointment - everyone is sitting around chit chatting. I head to the optometrist office - guy stops me. He's the "store manager" and needs to check me in. Oh ok - I thought it was next door. He starts to check me in and said I was late. I thought I was 20 mins early. He then says I should know the time because I booked it myself online in a rude and condescending tone. (Insinuating I should know better.) I don't understand but I'm put off by the store manager acting in a condescending manner towards me. I opted to leave. I figured out when I booked it, I booked it for the wrong date and I rescheduled it - thinking I did it at the same time but I did not. It was a simple mistake and had he not been a rude condescending person about it I would have laughed it off and rescheduled it. But instead I get an accused like I'm trying to pull something over on the guy. These guys obviously don't want to work with you or bother to understand your needs. Poor customer service. read more

I very kind and welcoming store manager named Joey quickly assisted me. He was able to replace the damaged screw and get my glasses back to a wearable condition free of charge. I love coming here because the staff & Dr. Ly are amazing. They are all so helpful and friendly. I used to go to the one in Arcadia, but found this location to be a bit more convenient. Plus since the first appointment I had with Dr. Ly I clicked with her. She's really nice and sweet. The other doctors at the other location were nice too, but I felt like my appointments were rushed. I didn't establish that doctor and patient relationship like I did with Dr. Ly. She answers all your questions, gives your suggestions, and is very knowledgeable. If you see her all I can say is you'll love her & you'll be in good hands. The young ladies working the front office are really nice and will help you out with anything you need. When it comes to Johnny....he will go above and beyond to help you out & make sure you're well taken care of. The first time I got contacts it was so hard to get used to them and my prescription was a little off. Maybe it was too much to get used to because I had never worn contacts before. I had to go back a few times and Johnny had to redo my test for contacts. Things finally settled and got the ones I needed. If you're paying out of pocket they usually have some offers to make it less pricy. If you're going through insurance they will tell you if it's better to get glasses or contacts. They will offer you a good deal to pay out of pocket for the other if your insurance isn't covering both. They also ask if you'd like the contacts to be shipped to your house or their location. Really bummed coming to this lens crafters. I walk in a speak with a gentleman who was just sitting there not doing anything what so ever. I take in three pairs of glasses, all need to be adjusted and one that needs a screw. He tells me this is going to take 2 HOURS. I said two hours? I live 40 mins away. I cant wait that long. He said ok give me 30 mins. He takes my phone number to call me when they are done. After 40 min of shopping around in the same shopping center I head over to see if they are ready. And YES they were. He didn't even give me a call to let me know. I'm in a rush so I just quickly try on the glasses and leave. Once I get him I'm showing my husband my glasses and notice they are all very dirty and grimy. He didn't even bother to clean them. I have been a customer with them for 15 years and have never left dissatisfied!! They were so gross looking. Then I put on the pair that needed a screw and the original screw is silver, this man put a very long gold screw. I couldn't believe it! It is sticking out and you can see the screw when I put on my glasses. Like how did he think that was ok. I'm so disappointed! Every other time I went to lens crafters they always adjust them on the spot and make them look like new. He was an older gentleman, lean and wore glasses. He wasn't the most friendly person either. I've been coming here over the last several years for my annual eye exam. Dr. Ly is always very nice, knowledgeable, professional, and remembers me each time I come in, and she's always great to have side conversations with. I'm very glad her office purchased a retinal imaging machine, so that I don't have to manually dilate my eyes (I believe they still offer the latter option, however). Frames and glasses here tend to run more expensive than independent mom-and-pop places, but they usually have the ones I'm looking for, and I'm often for the convenience factor. Thank heavens my employer offers good vision insurance. Staff has always been very nice every time I've come in. They are very communicative and are always good with following up with custom lens orders. read more

My husband and I stopped by this LensCrafters location this afternoon around 2 pm. My husband is new to the glasses world and has wanted prescription sunglasses for a while. We had looked at the sunglasses at Costco's optometry department (it cost about $86 for lenses and takes 7-10 days for your sunglasses to be ready. The $86 does not include the frames by the way). So after I got home from work, I suggested we come here to just browse (by the way, this location is located a few doors down from Trader Joe's & Party City... this is the same plaza as Kohl's and Bed, Bath & Beyond). When we walked in, we were immediately greeted by two employees. We walked over the nearest desk and Luisa was more than happy to help us. You definitely want to check out the "Hot Deals" section for their mark down frames (including sunglasses) which are excellent at affordable prices. Anyways my husband ended up picking up Rayban sunglasses (don't forget to bring a copy of your prescription). We were told they have a special that will allow us 40% off lenses with frames (including sunglasses) purchase. But if you have triple A, you get 30% off both frames and lenses (or 20% off lenses if you do not purchase frames). So after our triple A membership discount (Luisa priced out both discounts to see which deal was cheaper), it ended up only being $238 (with LensCrafter lenses. It would cost more if we had Rayban lenses and it would take about 7-10 days to receive them). Luisa told us it may take 90 minutes for the sunglasses to be done. Since we were planning on shopping in this plaza, we stopped at Bed, Bath & Beyond and Trader Joe's. Then after we finished, we just decided to see if the sunglasses were done (if not, we would have decided to come back tomorrow). With it only being 30 minutes later, we were really surprised to find out that they were ready. This location deserves 5 stars because of the excellent, quick and efficient service we received. Luisa was very helpful in answering all of our questions. I plan on coming back here again for my next eye exam and when I am in the market for another pair of glasses (you should always have a back up pair in case something happens to your glasses). By the way, if you are having some trouble choosing between a few frames, the sales associate helping you can take your photo with each frame on so you can have that side by side comparison to see which one you like best on you. Also LensCrafters gives you 30 days to choose to return your glasses if you do not like them, which is more than enough time to test them out. read more

We set an appointment and that follow up call just made things really easy for me . I get there and was greeted by all the associates . The eye doctor stepped out and she remembered me from my last visit which made me feel appreciated. Joni gave me a great experience, answering all my questions about glasses vs contacts. He even pulled out a couple glasses that he thought would work with my facial features. His choices were great and I ended up taking 2 pairs! I got my eye exam last 11/23/2020 and I choose ray ban frame RX8725 for the prescription glasses I was told it will be ready in two weeks. Since this is my 3rd time I called to pick up but they said it's not ready I called again after a week and yet still not done. On my 4th week I was able to talk to the manager he said that the frame is not there yet and he offered a temporary glasses and I declined coz I really wanted to have the ray ban frame. He committed to give update on 29th but I never got a call. I called yesterday 01/05/2021 gonna be 6th weeks to follow up only to find out it's not there yet. I just received a call today 01/06/2021 that I need to change the frame and walk in anytime. I'm very disappointed on the service it's unacceptable. read more

Got the frame I was looking for and had it fitted with progressive lenses. Now I don't have to take off my glasses to read up close. A bit pricey compared to other stores but spending on good glasses is an acceptable expenditure considering I change glasses every two to three years. read more

I've got glasses here and was quite satisfied with them. I also like how I am able to get them adjusted when it needs adjusting. Though, be warned, some of the workers there are better than others. There's a lady there that I particular like who I purchased my glasses from. She's the best one there. I don't know here name, but you'll know if you get here. The only downside of this place is their contact lense prices vary from month to a couple of months. They no longer price match. I would recommend buying contact lenses online. Highly disappointed due to being provided with inconsistent information about policy which resulted in wasted time, gas, and ability to have my eye exam sooner at another location. I had called multiple locations, the day before, doing my effort to find a place which could provide me with an eye exam for contact prescriptions at a great price. I was told the exam would be $75 plus any additional cost for fittings. While on the phone, I shared I would not need the fitting but only the prescription since I had a specific location I go to for free fittings. I was told that would be no problem and the exam would be $75 only. Great, I made an appointment for the following day. The following day I arrived to this location and was told the information I was provided over the phone was not correct. 1. The eye exam would be $90 not $75. 2. I am required to complete the fitting here since their policy does not allow for them to just hand me a contact prescription without a fitting. The cost would range from $75 up to $90 additional from the $90 for the eye exam. At this point, I asked, why the inconsistent information provided by a Lens Crafter colleague? The lady assisting me could not respond with a specific answer but only generically with, "I have no idea why you were informed otherwise but I will speak with that person." Now that's great, but I justed wasted gas and a day of having my exam done sooner because not everyone at this location is aware of company policy. As you may understand I was very disappointed and left the location dissatisfied. Well, every event has a silver lining, I headed to Wal-Mart and sure enough, they offered a complete eye exam for glasses, contacts, dilation, and fitting for $90!!! The staff and Optometrist was fantastic. They provided me with 6 boxes of sample contacts to try on to determine the best type for my eyes. All this for $90, now that is a deal!! read more

I went in this morning to purchase glasses, when I entered the store I was not greeted which I could over look, however other customers were greeted as they entered the store. As I decided to continue to shop for glasses, the associate never once acknowledged my presence in the store nor did she offer to assist. I am not sure if she had a preference as to whom she was going to assist, but it became clear as I continued to browse that I was not a priority to her. My dollars will best be sent elsewhere. I came by here to get my glasses fixed. The screw was coming out on the side and it was driving me nuts. They took them in the back right away and fixed them for me, while I checked out their selection of eyewear. I love all the big name brands they have like Coach, Tiffany & Co and D&G. Considering the quality and the brands they carry, the prices are very reasonable. It's really convenient to have everything you need located there. They'll help you with your prescription, picking out the glasses and have them ready in no time. Everyone that I talked to was very friendly and helpful. I was really impressed with their fundraising efforts, as well. They support local kids in providing them with glasses, which is awesome. I like to support businesses that help our their community. Horrible customer service. What's the point in having dozens of locations in order to better assist your clients if you can't assist a client who arrives a few minutes before you close? I was on my way to this location and out of curtesy I called ahead of time to let them know, that all I needed was for them to check a screw that fell off my glasses and would be arriving minutes before they close.
