Excellent customer relations! I dropped by the Lens Crafters at the North Park location because I was waiting for service at the T-mobile around the corner. I asked the staff if they carried nose pad replacements (my pads fell off at some point) and the eyewear agent, Moses, said "I got you." and replaced the pads in about five minutes, for free. I didn't purchase my frames there either! I don't know if this is Lens Crafters policy or something Moses elected to do, but in either case, I am appreciative and applaud the person or policy. read more

This store is nice and yes the customer service reps are very professional unfortunately the products they use are horrible. I purchased a pair of Meta Ray Bans with transition lenses two months ago. One lens is completely scratched from using the provided cloth. The other lens is perfect using that same cloth. However LensCrafters will not acknowledge the defect. They offered to sell me to warranty and pay $125 to replace the lenses. Are you kidding me???? They can't replace one lens!!!!!! Come here to admire the nice store but don't leave with a pair of glasses. This was my first and last time shopping at LensCrafters. read more

I will say that the best part about this place is the variety of frames and the MEN that provide the pleasant atmosphere. The customer service that is provided, when it comes to a certain demographic of people, is outright disgusting! I have visited this location on numerous occasions but in my most recent visit the way I was treated by two women that work there made me want to go in range. When I initially came in, I noticed that one of the ladies greeted the people in front of me. She looked at me, turned away and greeted the people behind me. I found the frame that I was looking for, and I sat and waited to be help. This woman never approached, never said a word to me until she saw her boss come back from lunch. At that point I let her know that I did not want her help and I asked for a manager. John assisted me and he was lovely! I explained to him what happened and he apologize for how she treated me. I accepted the apology and just figured maybe she was having a bad day. However, I come in today to pick up my glasses met with Rebecca. From the moment this woman saw me she became what seems to be irritated. All the miro aggression was on display. She was slamming doors, rolling her eyes, when she took my glasses out and slammed them on the counter, I knew she didn't want to help me. Politely asked her if she could dispense them the proper way, at one of the tables, and she waived her hand for me to go away as she told me to you can go wait over there. I stood there while she huffed and puff and started to snatch the supplies. It was EXTREMELY CLEAR at this point. When dispensing, she continuously rolled her eyes, smacked her teeth, answer sarcastically, and continue to give micro aggression. Now again I assume maybe she's having a bad day also; however, when my son asked me why is she being so rude? That's when I knew we had a problem. I became so upset I was shaking. I looked around to see if John was there and he wasn't so, I grabbed my things and I walked away. She wasn't worth my energy. Her not knowing where I worked or that I am an ABOC certified optician & could out sale, out whit, out adjust, and out buy her on any day is what made me look at her like a pathetic excuse of an optician. Every single time I come up to this place, I am being treated the exact same way by these under qualified, unprofessional, sorry excuse of women opticians! And it's regardless of how I'm dressed, how polite I am, or how much money I'm spending! These women that works in this location, especially Rebecca and the one from the last time, need to get a reality check or your ratings will continue to drop! read more

FERNANDO was the only reason we bought new prescription lenses and glasses. His attentive service and peppy personality outshined the experience. I do love the COVID procedures that this location have in place. They handed me two trays, one for the glasses that I like and the ones that I didn't. They sanitize everything and we bear by, wishing protocol distance to assist. While I was browsing, FERNANDO asked if it was ok to start a cart for my easy checkout in case I do decide to purchase. Had an issue with A pair of frames and was afraid I was in for a bad experience based on experiences with other retailers in the past, but Annette the store manager on duty was very gracious me listened to me carefully and came up with a very satisfactory solution to my concerns that left me with a very positive experience. Do not go to this location. I have used them for several eye glass orders as they are located next door to my optometrist. The orders I have placed have been acceptable, however, I have contacted them to get some general information about my prescription/PD and they were extremely unhelpful and unwilling to provide me with the information that is very specific to my eye records. Solid selection of eye wear they have a few more high priced designer glasses. I think they have the largest selection of Oakley eye wear at any optical place i have found so far. I didn't really find a large variety of high end glasses. This location is very open with two large entrances and exits so this place never really feels cramped. I went in there to buy some glasses for a family member so I needed a little extra help since they weren't for me. Trish was the employee that helped me today and wow she was great. I had so many questions and she helped with each and every one no matter how ridiculous they may have been. I was looking for Oakley either wire frames or sunglasses and she explained the entire process that Oakley glasses are involved in. I was told if there were any other glasses that I wanted I could get an hour turn around time. The Oakley prescription glasses need to be sent to Oakley and the turn around time is 2 to 3 weeks. I finally was able to narrow down my decision to about 2 to 3 different styles. Trish was just great and extremely patient with my uncertainty about so many great styles of glasses. I had so many to choose from but the exact style that my brother needed really narrowed down what I was looking for. I don't think it helps very much when I have never worn glasses until recently. I have been eye wear shopping before and found some other great places but still have been undecided about what exactly would work best for me on a day to day basis. This location seems to always be running some weekend specials giving you 30 to 40% off. The only thing that sucks but I'm assuming is normal is your unable to combine that with your vision insurance. You have to choose which one will suit you better. I say what's the point of having vision insurance then? I am just glad I signed up for one of those flexible spending accounts so I can buy what I need it was just perfect for today. Geez, tough crowd! I had a POSITIVE experience at Lenscrafters yesterday. I guess this is a very different experience than other Yelpers have had...Lucky me! Okay, so I came in right around opening to pick out glasses. The rep. was extremely patient while I tried on glasses. He even suggested certain frames and gave honest feedback. I got a few extras (some antiglare coating, scratch protection, and the breakage plan). However, the salesperson was not pushy, and just stated the facts. My glasses were ready a few hours later, but I was not in THAT much of a rush that I had them on a 60 minute stopwatch! I guess that pesky LIFE I have kept me busy... I went in for a pair of glasses that I had been eyeing for a while. My husband took me there for my birthday to finally get them. The lady started off nice, but then was extremely pushy. I literally felt like I was at a car dealership. I was getting uncomfortable and should have left, but in really wanted my glasses. I tried on the pairs she suggested to be nice, but I literally only wanted the pair I went in for. My was already spending more than I wanted him to on them and I was so mad she was making him feel guilty for not getting me two pair. I was going to get my glasses here but there are so many damn hidden fees. The girl who was running my insurance and explaining things to me did a poor job. I had no idea what was covered, at how much, or what wasn't. What was crazy was that after running insurance the total would still be over 500$. Just didn't make sense. First, my salesperson didn't itemize exactly what I was paying for so I ended up paying for things I didn't really want. He also added insurance talking about it like it was part of the deal. It was extra. They said they'd call when they were ready. They did not. I finally called two weeks later and they were ready. I got a new pair of glasses and new lenses for my old glasses.I was told it would take an hour to put the lenses into my old glasses. I came back an hour and a half later. They hadn't even started. I came back the next day. They still hadn't started! They told me it would take 15 minutes. I waited 45 minutes for them to finally get them done. They still weren't done. I have to come back tomorrow. Like a bad dream. Done with LensCrafters. read more

To add insult to injury, one store associate looked at me as he walked by, while another asked two individuals that were right next to me how they were doing and said nothing to me. Well hello LensCrafters! I feel like you have gotten some serious plastic surgery and I don't even recognize you anymore. Many of your bits and pieces are now fashion-forward and relatively inexpensive, whereas last time we spoke they were marmy and pricey. Service was great - 1-2 hours for most simple glasses to be ready. They really revamped their selection to include tons of great frame options for everyone, from 30 something hipster to 12 year old ballet dancer. Extra plus, open on Sundays, and they have someone around the corner in the mall who can do eye exams (and, you can make appointments!). Next time I need a pair of glasses, this will seriously be the first place I go, which is something I would never say 10 years ago... read more

This review is for the LensCrafters located at North Park Center. When I couldn't get an appointment soon enough at my regular place, my husband made an appointment for me at the first place he could think of, which was LensCrafters at North Park. I was super apprehensive, especially after reading the reviews!! But, I'm glad I went ahead and kept my appointment, because I just loved this place! I had booked an appointment with the next door optometrist, Envy Eyecare, with Dr. Tran, who is the best!! (But, that's a different review....) When I stepped into LensCrafters, the sales associates were busy, but that just gave me a chance to look over and try on the frames. My daughters had come along to help me pick (I mean, you can't SEE the frames if your glasses aren't on, y'know..) We had space to try out the different looks, and giggle a little. When we were ready to get some glasses put together, Dalilia was right on it. She was so much fun to work with. She found a way to connect with me and all my girls, and we were soon chatting like longtime BFFs. But, best of all, she was really good at fitting my new frames to my face, very expert and thorough. After she'd gone over the different choices, Dalilia took my cell # and we went and had a quick meal while my lenses were...um...crafted. I'd only had glasses made at a place where they had to be sent off, so I really liked the same day service. And, I LOVE my new glasses. When it was time to pick them up, Dalilia adjusted them again, and had me look through them and see how they worked. She explained that if I had any problems, I could come back in and have the frames adjusted, or lenses fixed. Overall, I was very pleased with my experience, and will definitely come back! read more

We politely told the salesman we were just looking around, but he kept bringing everything I said I wasn't interested in. Over the past 5 years, I've bought two pairs of eyeglasses and a pair of sunglasses from LensCrafters. At this location in NorthPark, I have always received attentive and friendly service. Waiting for their deals is a great way to get those designer specs at a more affordable price...most recently their special was 40% off frames and lenses...hard to beat that! I was able to get $270 Prada frames and my prescription lenses for $330 total-almost half off! And, if you need an updated eye exam, they are next to an optometrist that provides efficient examinations, with helpful explanations throughout the process (what's happening, what they're finding, etc). My wife actually recommended that we try to get my new glasses from here. As soon as we walked in the door we were acknowledged. (even though all the employees were helping other customers.) We browsed the glasses for a few minutes and were then approached by a friendly gentleman that explained the different sections of the store. Not only was he super informative but he also made us feel very comfortable about choosing different options. I chose a pair of frames and the process was straightforward and didn't take much time at all. They also replaced my wife's scratched frame with a new one. As we waited for that, I noticed that a customer walked in looking for the optometrist (located next door) The same gentleman that helped us when we walked in greeted him and let him know that he not in the right place. LensCrafter in Dallas's Galleria is a wonderfully run business thanks to the manager. Matt puts everyone, including his employees, at ease. He encourages those needing new glasses to explore the frames on display and choose 3 to 6 frames. Then a staff member helps each person understand which frames best suit his/her face. A store with employees who interact well with each other is a successful store. The employees at Galleria's LensCrafters are as diverse as the frames available and each is trained to help the customer. In addition, this store produces quality eye glasses. I recently invested in new glasses. Because my eyes are changing, I had some trouble adjusting to Progressive lenses, but Matt and his staff worked with me to assure that my new glasses, sunglasses and Progressives fit my needs.
