Poot customer service kassandra does not know how to speak to clients. She will literally tell you I'm not your doctor so I don't know anything. Which i understand but when you say it with a condescending attitude it does not sit well with customers! First and last time I do business with this LensCrafters! I've never in my life had an issue with any other previous lens crafters till I came here. read more

When first walked for my first visit every one is so welcome until I get the exam and recommend to bought two pairs of glasses total $450 ...when I come back to tell them that both glasses is not right for me because I can't see and everything is very blurry...they make me waiting for half hour just to make me appointments to see again the doctor after 3 days...so when I come back for my appointment the ignore me and left me waiting for an hour until to come someone to tell me oh the doc is see you very soon...1hour pass and still waiting..not recommended..they are good until they took your money after they're ignoring you!!!so disappointed!!! read more

Finally found a nice pair of frames after looking at 4 different places. Jacob quickly helped me, and wrote up my profile. The whole process took less than an hour to get written up and get my new pair of glasses. Couldn't have asked for better service myself. Now I can finally get back to my nightly reading with me new glasses. Thanks LensCrafters Great, fast, friendly service. read more

Great customer service. I went in just for a check up. I've had lasik done and it's been about 5 years since my last eye exam. Since I work on the computer and spend close to 8 hours a day on it, my eyes have been tired and has put some stress in it. So I went in just to make sure all is well. Called on the day and they had availability to see me. Went in and saw the doctor. Everyone was really nice and helpful. The doctor was sweet and explained everything she was doing and examined my eyes and explain what things were. Rashid was great. he helped me with what type of frames my insurance would pay for, gave suggestions and helped with getting my glasses together. I had interactions with 4 individuals at this location and they were all wonderful. Ended up with a pair of glasses for computer and reading use that I'm currently wearing now as I write this review. read more

I don't even want to put a single star at this location but I have to in order to leave a review. I can't even describe how unprofessional everyone (customer representatives) was at this lens crafter location. They are so negligent when it comes to giving the best service to their customers. For them it's quantity over quality. They hussle their customers and lie on the initial price prior to checking out. Then they pressure you to purchasing it. They try so hard to sell out their products and not even try to accommodate their customers. However my doctor lilian was the best! she took care of me from beginning to end. She was also very patient in explaining everything to me and took time to make sure I am getting the best care. I would go back to this location if only for doctor lilian but I can't avoid the rest of the salespeople so it's not worth the inconvenience. I spent the whole day just being mislead. Also when I called, the representative that I spoke to was also very disrespectful and gave me an attitude the entire time. worst experience ever! If you need people who are willing to take care of you go to Jins! they're glasses are well priced and the representatives are very helpful. read more

This LensCrafters is located at the Santa Anita Mall, specifically on the first floor, a few doors down from Macy's. It is located behind the escalator and is a real easy miss. I decided to visit this location this afternoon with my husband to look at the sunglasses here because I am currently in the market for prescription sunglasses. After we visited the location in Monrovia (located in the same plaza as Kohl's, Bed Bath & Beyond, specifically a few doors down from Trader Joe's). Since my prescription is rather high (should have read less in the dark and less lying down), I can only pick from a specific type of frames (metal is best, unfortunately plastic frames are not an option to choose from). And there was one frame that I liked at Monrovia (and is currently on hold for 3 days in case I do want to purchase them) but wanted to see if another location would have other frames for me to choose from. Anyways, when I first entered the store, an employee greeted me and asked if I needed any help. After telling her what I was looking for (and showing her a copy of my prescription) she was very helpful in suggesting some frames for me to try. I saw a few that I thought were nice but isn't quite what I am looking for. I browsed around the store and also made sure to check out the "Hot Deals" section for their sales/ clearance section for frames. Their "Hot Deals" section is much smaller than the one at Monrovia. Also this location seems to have a smaller selection of glasses/ sunglasses in general than Monrovia. Overall, service was friendly and helpful. Possibly would come back again. By the way, if you have AAA, make sure to mention at the time of your purchase for additional discounts. read more

Overpriced, inadequate care. Came here for an eye exam. Woman told me that they could not bill for medically necessary contact lenses (I am high prescription) or other medically necessary services because they do not have anyone staffed with the proper license to bill insurance for these categories. Their exam fees and deductibles are also exorbitant versus local competitors. They wanted to charge me $20 for the base eye exam and $40 more dollars for a more comprehensive eye exam. I went to a local optometry after and they charged me $10 for everything and said they would bill for medically necessary contacts. Their only selling point is that they are conveniently located in the mall; but, otherwise you are paying 6x as much to be looked at by someone less qualified. read more

This review is for their optometrist services, and particularly their customer service experience in ensuring that necessary follow ups are completed. My wife went for an eye exam last year and left with what she believed were prescriptions for glasses and contact lenses. As it turns out, no prescription for the contact lenses was provided. The general manager of the store insists that my wife was informed that a follow up checkup was needed to actually complete the prescription for the contact lenses. She insists this even though she (the general manager) was not in the exam room; my wife and I were BOTH in the exam room and do not recall the doctor saying that additional follow up exams were needed to receive the contact lense prescription. However, when we came into the store a week after the initial checkup to pick up my wife's glasses, the staff made no mention or inquiry about this supposed necessary follow up. You would think the store would be willing to do a little work here to complete the prescription, since this was a service we paid for at the time. But no -- the general manager was completely unwilling to help with this, and did not even offer to reschedule my wife to make up the follow up exam. One of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had across any type of business. read more

I felt really rushed and didn't feel like they really cared about my eye health. However, that's what I think is the norm these days. I feel that they have a really professional operation going on. In the end, the glasses that I received from this location were too strong. read more

This review is for customer service. I came down from San Francisco and lost my glasses case at a concert in LA. I looked to replace it online, but it was very pricey on amazon/other retailers. I took a chance to see if I could just purchase a new case at lenscrafters since I originally purchased the frames/lenses there and the glasses are a little oddly shaped. To my surprise, the staff found the exact case I had lost and I was out of the store in less than 5 minutes. I normally go to a lenscrafters in East Bay where the customer service is great so I'm glad to see it extend to Arcadia. read more

Is it okay for me to say rip-off city? I have been suckered into buying my prescription eyeglasses from them for years. With as many sales clerks as they have, I have yet to receive good advice from s single one. What advice am I seeking? What looks good on me, what color frame etc, nothing a knowledgable salesperson should not know when asked. Rather I an left to decide on my own. Okay not the end of the world, but you would think the service would be more proactive, not just "clerking" the purchase.. Now the rip-off part. I am nor an authority on what constitutes a 'sale", but I believe some industries require the merchant to show that they gave actually sold a item at a certain price before advertising a 50% off sale. In other words some progressive transition lenses I was recently quoted over $400 for would actually gave to been sold for over $800 prior to the sale. See where I'm coming from? Add to that s frame and my new prescription glasses are over $600 on sale or $1000 prior to sale. Consumer Affairs can have a field day here! read more

it's really like 3.5 stars but i had a pretty good experience recently so i'll bump them up + easy to book an appointment online; they confirm with you the day before in case you have to reschedule; easy to reschedule via phone or online + great location; lots of mall parking; easiest to park at Macy's and walk into the mall + awesome doctors + great technology; they have some of the latest digital exam equipment that others lenscrafters don't - limited selection of frames (i feel like other ones have more; I ended up getting the same one) + quick for contact lenses pick-up - slower for glasses pick-up - pricey read more

Very helpful and was very quick. Nice and great staff! Will get my glasses there

Once again fantastic! Christina is a great resource and you can tell she likes her job. I needed a sunglass replacement and she expertly handled my new rush pair. Sold me glasses I think I will love even though I didn't come in there for Ray-Bans. Brendan is cheery and good with customer service. Even Chan, the guy who runs the lab, is friendly and helpful. I appreciate you guys very much and I know every time something happens with my glasses that I can depend on you to make it right really quick. Cheers! PS. Owners get these people a security guard so they don't have to play bodyguard to the many thieves that you guys have. Luxottica can it! read more

Absolutely worst experience I have ever had at a LensCrafter. Maged was extremely slow, working at a glacial pace and charging my card double the amount that was due and then being resistant and talking me out of transition lenses when I desperately needed them due to my Pingueculitis. He then refused to offer shipping for my glasses when I literally had my glasses from another LensCrafters shipped directly to my home before. read more

Thank you for adjusting my glasses, Kelsey! You were very helpful, I appreciate your assistance.

I feel the glasses are really over priced! What is even more annoying is that they make appointments for eye exams without your consent and then constantly call to try and have you come for the exam. Even after I told them I had a new eye doctor and cancel my appointment, they went ahead and sent me an appointment time for another exam. Maybe LensCrafters will read this review and stop this practice. Anyway, I'm going to put their email address to spam and maybe that will help. read more

LensCrafters is the best in our area. They help a lot and last time they fixed my sun glasses for free thank you LensCrafters

I walked in looking for help with a loose screw on my glasses that I was unable to tighten myself. They helped me right away and fixed the problem within 10 minutes, free of charge. I believe Miguel(?) helped me, he was excellent and very professional. I did purchase my glasses from here a few years back, but they didn't even ask, seems like they would help regardless of where you purchased your frames. read more

I have had nothing but problems for the last month trying to get my prescription correct by Dr.'s and other galss making places. I was at my wits end when I happened to call Lenscrafters in the Aracadia Mall. Kacey went above and beyond and helped me more than she will ever know. What 4 labs were quoting me 1 week or more, she had them done in less than one hour. The lab technician Jose (I think that's his name) worked quickly and efficiently and also went above and beyond for me! I can finally see clearly after months of wearing scratched glasses. You guys are the best of the best! read more

I haven't gotten an eye exam in over 5 years. I came to this LensCrafters because a friend recommended them, and I was thrilled with my experience! I was able to easily schedule an appointment on their website, I was seen very quickly at the actual appointment, and everyone that helped me was very attentive and kind. I didn't get her name, but the girl who did my pre exam was super sweet! Dr. Lillian is hands down the best eye doctor I have ever been to, and I was comforted by how thorough she was with my exam. I was not rushed at all and she even offered to dilate my eyes to reassure some concerns I had. Christina was the one who helped me pick out my frames, and she was amazing too! She is great at customer connection. She was handling all these customers on top of getting my measurements for my frames. She also made sure I knew about the BOGO 50% for frames, and helped me pick out some sunglasses! I am super happy with my experience here and I can't wait to get my new glasses. Thank you!!! read more

switched from lenscrafters Monrovia to this location & will remain. Really great, friendly customer service. As I was waiting for my new contacts to arrive in the mail, my last pair of contacts ripped leaving with no more contacts for a week. Luckily, Brian was able to give me a pair to hold me off until I received them. Thanks Brian! The doctor who examined my eyes was very sweet too. Updated my contacts brand from acuve oasis to biofiniti. Couldn't be any happier with the switch. read more

Came here today 02/16/19 2PM. Lady with red hair was very unfriendly and hostile. Came in with my family and she did not greet or asked if we needed help. I kept looking over at her while she continued to sit. My brother finally had to walk over to her to ask for help. Terrible customer service. Sad to say that I was here a week ago and we received great service. Definitely avoid this lady. read more

A friend on Yelp did her review on lenscrappers, and her due diligence inspired me to write my own experience and theories about this place. First the Theories..it's possibly owned by the same folks that brought you Mens Warehouse (see my review) and Ginsu knives! 2) They hire people that say they're doctors, and then you got to wonder what they did wrong to end up here. Ok blame me first of all for trusting my eyes to a place run like McDonalds, would you like fries with that, how about scratch guard, or anti gloss, glare or whatever name they come up with. The doctor got my prescription wrong, I can see better long distance, but not close up, had to go to another local doc that had an actual office and did the job right the first time. I will say I was erotically attracted to this pleasantly plump latina there who did my glasses, she had a cute face and after puffing air in my eyes and producing a paddle for me to slap my eye with to read a chart, I didn't know if we were supposed to and kiss and cuddle afterword, but alas I left like a cowboy during sundown (because that's how long the exam took), and thus likely never to return. ::twanging guitar music:: read more

We always have a wonderful experience at LensCrafters. Whether it's Monrovia or Arcadia, Estevan has always given us exceptional customer service. He took the time to help me and my family look for a pair of glasses. He was very patient in helping my son use contact lenses for the first time. I never felt any pressure or rushed in making any decisions. I have a complicated prescription and he did a price comparison while he explained the different types of materials. He didn't try to sell me something I didn't need and saved us a lot of money. I will always come to LensCrafters as long as Estevan is there :) read more

Loved the eye exam, very complete... but, the glasses were way too expensive! I have never purchased a pair of glasses that were in the $ 750 range! That included the AAA discount. I'm 5 months into trying to get my contact lens. Went in in January trying to just get a pair of contacts, but they made me try so many different types of contacts. In the end I just ended up settling for the one I originally asked for. Finally when to came to ordering, they put in the wrong order. They called me to pick it up and then when they found out it was wrong, they asked me to hold onto these trial pair for another couple of days--the ones that were expiring. I said that was fine, but then 4-5 days later, it STILL didn't arrive, I call back. Person says that they're here and that I can come pick them up. I wait until the next day to pick it up, but then turns out, they weren't ready to be picked up yet! New order didn't come in yet. Now I'm using old contacts that need to be thrown out. I ask for a trial pair to make up since these are expired and they hand me the one eye that is correct from the original order and one trial for the other eye. How does this make ANY sense? So when I get my actual contacts, one eye will have an extra set. What am I supposed to do with an odd number of eyes?! Also, don't wanna forget about the long waits when you get there. They overbook. NEXT PLACE PLEASE. read more

Don't go there! If there was 0 star I'd definitely rate "0". I went in to get a minor adjustment for my glasses. The guy damaged my lens while doing the adjustment. They are supposed to order me a new pair through their "damage account". But the guy and a Hispanic female employee called Ashley insisted that since I bought an warranty for my glasses before, they'd use my warranty to get me a new one. Then the disaster came...they ordered the wrong prescription TWICE. Every time i questioned that, the staff there were like "I don't know what you are talking about" with a long face. At the second time, Ashley, who self-claimed to be the supervisor, even lied to me that it was the right description after she pretendedly brought the lens to the back lab for a test. What a contemptible fraud! I finally made the long drive to downtown LA LensCrafters (where I bought the glasses at first) to solve the whole thing. My experience with this store was disastrous...I've wasted tons of time and energy there. read more

If you can go some where else to get your glasses, PLEASE.. go any where but here! I don't mind the fact that they are pricey, but I do mind if they act like a bad car sales man. They tried to make me feel bad for getting a basic lenses for my daughter. They forced me to buy 3 (yes, Three!!!) pairs of glasses for her. And when the junior associate could not budge me to buy their unnecessary addition to the lenses, she literally called the senior associate to force me to buy the expense unnecessary coatings and all. Good thing I was prepared for all those things. The reason I went there was the fact that they can have glasses ready in one hour. In costco (way better price) you have to wait up to 7 business days to get it done. Very little selection for kids glasses. Very very disappointed read more

I'm not one to post negative reviews as I never want to hurt a business. I would rather just not post a review. But after several difficult interactions with this locations I felt it was best to let others know so they don't experience the same thing. My most recent and final straw was today. I called lenscrafter to inquire about getting one contact lens for one eye. My lenses had run out. They had declined my re-order because I was one week overdue from my prescription running out. So I called today and booked an appointment for Monday. I also asked if I could come in today and purchase one lens. After not having a call back for several hours I called again. Same delayed holds and then the third person got on the phone. They told me they would give me a contact on Monday when I came in. I asked them how I was supposed to see today through Monday and they told me they were sorry there was nothing they could do to help me. I have been at their location annual or every two years so they have my most recent prescription. Obviously they don't care about their patients seeing but care about charging you annually for unnecessary procedures. Luckily I called a legitimate optometrist in the area whom upon hearing my issue will get me in today and get me a contact. Once again this is a place looking for a dollar and not looking for the medical well being of their patients. Save yourself the hassle and hustle and go to an optometrist and not this drive through sales shop. You will thank me! read more

I can understand how some of the reviews are negative here. It can get so busy and things are very business-like and quick. It can seem less warm and friendly than you expect. When I came in today, I, myself, was not in a good mood, because this was my 3rd time coming in regarding the same pair of glasses. I was ready to never come back to this place again. However, one person can make a difference. Christina B., the manager, changed my entire point of view. I told her the history of these glasses and how the lenses were uncomfortable on one eye. She tried to figure out the problem and thought of ideas to fix them. I also didn't mind waiting when there were other customers, because I felt that she was genuinely trying to help me. Christina made me feel like a person that wasn't just the next in line, but that she cared. If the glasses were not fixed, I would've been ok, because she really tried to make it better. However, I think Christina is "magical," because she fixed my glasses with her great effort and I know it was not easy. I'm happily wearing them now! Magic Christina, thank you for everything! I really appreciated your time, skills, and help. When I go there again, I will ask for you. (Another staff member also saw me fretting about my glasses and wanted be to be ok. I didn't get her name. Thanks to her, also!) read more

My old glasses were falling apart so I came here for a prescription check and new frames/lenses. The prescription check went smoothly, but the service after was pretty crappy. My new prescription was causing me headaches even after testing it out for 2 weeks. I returned to LensCrafters whose response was along the lines of 'what do you want LensCrafters to do about it?' I added a star because I requested they lower my prescription and they did. But I'm not the professional, and I would've appreciated more guidance from LensCrafters over what to do when my glasses were unusable. Their original response was 'wait one week,' then 'wait 2 weeks,' then 'you need to wait even longer.' read more

This LensCrafters is a fantastic place to purchase glasses. Not only do they have a great selection but their staff is fantastic Major props to Christina Booker and Kelsey Valencia. Their professionalism and courteous attitudes are outstanding. I Purchased a very expensive pair of his prescription Oakley sunglasses in April 2017. Recently one of the earpieces broke where that hinge is screwed into the frame Even though I submitted a claim to Oakley for the repair Oakley never responded. By the way hopefully I am Lense Crafters Are owned by the same company Tonight Christina & Kelsey Went the extra mile and figured out a way to make my repair happen. What great customer service!
