Best experience I've had at an optometrist! I came in as soon as they opened on a Saturday because I had no appointment and wanted to see if they could find time to fit me in. Lucky enough a 9am appointment canceled and they were able to see me. All the staff (esp.Tanya) were super helpful. She was quick with service but very thorough. All my questions were answered without me ever even asking them! Now I'll be on my trial contact lenses for the next week. Dr. Mike fixes my eyes. I use them every day so I'm so glad I've got a good doc to take care of them! Dr. Mike is very personable and explains why I have trouble reading signs on the road after dark in a way I can understand. He's patient and takes the time to listen to my questions. He's great with kids and has my 9 month old daughter laughing during my eye exam with some finger puppets he whipped out when she started to fuss. Wow! I am so impressed with Lenhardt Optometric Group. We came in today for my 3 year old who had an eye exam at preschool that indicated there was a problem. I understand, not their fault, but when I had spoken with someone on Thrusday she was just kinda like oh well too bad so sad and got really frustrated with me. I was thisclose to disputing the charge on my credit card, and then Tonya called and really calmed me down and helped come to a few solutions. I really do think Tonya is one of the nicest people I've ever met in my entire life. As if these guys are short of 5 star reviews - here is another one! I love them! We used to go to a different eye doc for my son and endured long waiting hours, unhappy staff and were "just another" one of their patients - nothing special. Then we came here and WOW, what a difference! I felt I had been missing out all this time. The staff is so awesome and friendly from the first time you call in. They took care of all the paperwork and booked an appointment for my son right away. When we arrived the waiting time was very short and on we went to see the doctor. My son is extremely energetic and is always all over the place, typical 5 year old, the doctor was able to engage him with silly games while he seamlessly tested his vision. I've never seen my son have such a great time a doctor's office - 10 stars!! Their selection of glasses was really great as well. The gal that fits you for the glasses is heaven sent! She's a total eyeglass wear nerd - yes that's meant to be a huge compliment! She's very meticulous and knowledgeable. She actually took a good 10 minutes to customize my son's frames to fit his little face perfectly....the other place just handed them to us in the box - what a difference! So if you have any other eye doc that is not Dr. Mike, do yourself a favor and stop missing out on an awesome experience and make the change - you'll be raving on here soon. PS - I forgot to mention, my son accidentally flushed his glasses down the toilet (yes, long story!). I called in and they were able to give us a really great deal to replace the missing glasses. Firstly, I'll mention that although I frequently use Yelp, haven't had a strong desire to write a review... until now. Dr. Mike and his staff are FANTASTIC! Although it's a bit out of the way from my home and work, I went to Dr. Mike from my sister's strong recommendation. I'm so glad I did. A little background... I always had some trouble getting the right fit on my glasses and clarity with contacts. My previous optometrists basically said "that's about as good as it's gonna get". I was fitted for both glasses and contact lenses but neither was quite right on the first go around.... as I anticipated. What I did not expect was how Dr. Mike and his staff handled it. For the glasses, must have had a "bad eye day" since the prescription seemed to have come out too strong and when I mentioned it, I was reexamined and new lenses were made. For the contacts, ended up trying 3 different samples until I found the perfect one. I must have gone back about 4-5 times, which may sound like a lot but well worth it to get the right glasses and lenses. Through it all, everyone was very friendly, most welcoming, and seemed genuinely interested in my satisfaction. It's by no means the cheapest place around and surely you could find cheaper products at chain stores but I doubt you'll receive this level of service and personal attention. Needless to say, I'll be recommending LOG to others. read more

I love the staff here, and Dr. Mike is awesome. Especially if you have serious eye issues, this is your place. For example, I had a recent diagnosis that came with a severe side effect to my eyes. I learned more about my condition from Dr. Mike than I did my own primary doctor. His treatment plan has been very helpful. My only complaint is that you will wait for your appointment, but the same amount of time is spent on you. You aren't rushed out only to think of questions 10 minutes later with no one to talk to, so it's a give and take. Not enough of a problem to mark them down here. Just know that you should book 2 hours for what usually might take 1 hour. read more

I actually stopped going to the eye doctor for several years, due partly to the eye docs I had experienced in the past! Always rushing, impersonal, not offering and explaining all the options... Dr. Mike is fabulous! He explained the entire process to me- what he was looking at in my eye, why he was looking at it, what it means, etc. They also took retinal photos (which was extra $$) without dilating my pupils! I absolutely hate getting dilated and I'm so glad I was able to skip that part. They also emailed me my retinal photos! Tanya was great as well! I'm not sure what she does there, but she was overall extremely helpful and friendly. She responded to my emails and any questions I had. I would definitely recommend them. I subtracted one star because of their hours. It was a little inconvenient to schedule an appointment because they are only open until 5 or 5:30pm on weekdays and are only open some Saturdays. read more

This review is way overdue. It is no wonder they have 5 STARS! All of the staff are SUPERSTARS. Desiree, Anne and Tanya are amazing staff for Dr. Mike and truly make your visit enjoyable and stress free. From every time I called to every in person visit I was treated with respect and timeliness. They help you in anyway that they can and always get back to you if there's anything pending. Dr. Mike is absolutely amazing and has definitely found his calling in life. I went through laser eye surgery through an outside company and the post recovery was horrendous but Dr. Mike and staff came to my rescue. He helped me go from eye drops every 5 minutes to not needing eye drops at all. My eyes healed beautifully and I no longer have the dry eye issue. I also buy their omega capsules that they sell at the front desk. I researched the manufacturer online and they are amazing quality and really add beneficial nutrients for the health of your eyes. Exams: I love going to Dr. Lenhardt for all my vision needs. He is personable, takes his time, and the staff bends over backward to make sure you are happy. They even have a brand new machine that takes pictures of your eye and eliminates the need for dilation. Glasses/Frames: I used to be the General Manager of Lenscrafters, and I would never go back to a LC when I have access to Dr. Mike. Their prices are fair, the RX is always right on. LC is good in an emergency (on vacation and ran over your glasses), but I will only buy from Lenhardt Optometric when purchasing lenses. I will even bring a frame in that I find elsewhere to have them fill the RX. They are not done in an hour, but they are done right the first time...everytime. read more

I came into this office for my first eye exam in over 10 years and couldn't of had a more positive experience! My husband comes to this office regularly and when I started noticing problems with my eyes at work I decided to make myself an appointment. The staff is super friendly and the doctors are amazing. My family went in for our annual eye exams. Dr Mike was incredible. He is very thorough and really makes sure that he addresses what you need in eye wear/care. My husband wears contacts and is considering lasik eye surgery. I wear contacts and have for many years. Our son just started driving and needed rx sunglasses. I went to this office just last week for an eye exam and contact lense fitting. I should have wrote this review last week, but I got a little busy. All I can say is Best. Experience. Ever! I'm a bit of an introvert with a little bit of anxiety when it comes to any doctors office. That all changed when I visited Dr. Lenhardt's office. Everyone was very friendly and made me feel completely comfortable and at ease. The entire visit from check in time to the time I left was super quick. There was only one form to fill out since I was a new patient. I really loved the staff, they were so friendly and they were able to educate me on better eye care for my dry eyes, that I was never told by previous optometrists. Now I finally know there is a solution for my dry eyes and that it isn't a condition that is permanent. Dr. Lenhardt is funny, patient and thoroughly explains the process of the examination and the results. I highly recommend coming to this office for a great vision care experience. I don't know too many Doctors offices and staff that are as genuine and friendly as I've encountered with my visit. I've been seeing Dr. Mike for over 10 years and was referred to him by a friend. From day one, he has always been easy to talk to, does a great job with my vision, and isn't pushy to buy a bunch of stuff, unlike many other eye docs I've experienced.
