Dr. Mike does an excellent job of blending friendliness and professionalism in a way that made me feel both welcome in his office and confident in his expertise. Instead of growing impatient with my time-consuming prescription needs, he acted as if he appreciated the challenge. The ladies up front, Tanya, Anne, and Desiree, were upbeat, knowledgeable, and attentive, and I felt like I could have stood there chatting with them for hours. At no point did I feel like anyone was trying to sell me things I don't need, and my glasses came out great. I haven't been this pleased with a prescription in a long time. Thank you! read more

I love this office. Everyone is so helpful and every visit is warm and caring. Its like your going home. I would never go any where else. Ive been with them for few years and every visit is perfect. Thank you guys for being perfect :) read more

This review is loonngg overdue. I've been a patient of Lenhardt for about 3 years now and Dr. Mike and all the ladies in the office are pretty awesome. Very knowledgeable and a joy to interact with, even with having to deal with those boring vision tests. They are also wizards with glasses fittings, especially Ann and Audrey. Before coming to this office, I was prescribed glasses but rarely wear them because they were not comfortable and either sliding down my nose or digging into the bones behind my ears. They adjusted my glasses and voila! I can actually wear them for extended time now. I actually brought them sunglasses I got as a gift which didn't fit right but Audrey was able to adjust them so they fit better, all for free. I've had a screw come loose and the arm broke off a pair of glass and they also fixed that. Like I said...this office is amazing. I have dry eyes and they are very honest about the health of my eyes. The dry eyes were not serious and Dr Mike recommended some over the counter remedies to help with that. Unlike another optometrist in Orange that told me I have a developing condition that can ultimately lead to macular degeneration or blindness and I should buy their supplements for $140 to ward off the progression of this condition. Sucker that I am, I actually bought them, then found out you can find that type of supplement for $20 a bottle over the counter (where is the emoji with "suckers" stamped on forehead or palm slap to forehead). I actually don't have any such conditions leading to blindness or otherwise. The point is this office is NOT like that. They don't practice scare-mongering to get more money from you. If cost is a concern, they work with you to find a lower cost solution. read more

There is a good reason the name of this place has the word GROUP. They all work together so well, the only other word that might fit better is FAMILY. After having gone there I now feel like one of the family too! Just like I imagine a Norman Rockwell family would be, wanting the best for everyone, communicating clearly, telling it like it is, that is how I feel about Lenhardt Optometric Group. With my past surgery filled eye situations I never thought I would be a candidate for contacts again. Never say never, they worked with me to find exactly what I needed. I would not have had the patience to deal with me, yet they did, they never ran out and didn't give up on me. Not only was I blessed to get contacts again, the price was better than the glasses I would have needed. So, don't hesitate, go, go NOW to see Dr. Mike and the rest of the family....I mean group! read more

Dr. Mike has me seeing better than I have been able to see, in many years. He simply will not give up until he feels that he has the best possible correction for you. Now, I see things with crystal clarity and sharply defined edges. Amazing! In my case, extreme chemical sensitivities made dilation a nightmare for me, with my normal sight not returning for close to a week after being dilated, so I was very glad when Dr. Mike felt that he could get enough information, about my eyes, using his retinal photograph device, which does not involve chemical dilation, Another unexpected benefit, which resulted from going to Dr. Mike, was that his assistant, Desiree, discovered that I was, in fact, covered for eye care, under my husband's policy. It was only because of Desiree's persistence in researching our coverage, that we found out that i am also covered, and therefore, we were saved quite a bit of money. Hope this review helps bring many more patients to Dr. Mike's office because I know that they will likely have the same good results that I have had. P.MC read more

I am a new patient of Lenhardt Optometric Group (LOG) and my experience with "Dr. Mike" and his staff has been excellent. LOG helped me transition from reading glasses to contacts and the process has been flawless. Everyone in this organization is friendly and highly knowledgeable. There are plenty of optometrists in my local area, but I have yet to find one that has the same level of knowledge, customer skills, and passion for optometry as Lenhardt Optometric Group. I would definitely recommend this company to my friends and family. David S. read more

My appointment was at 11:15am and unlike most other doctors offices my appointment actually started at 11:15am!! :D Staff (Desire and Tonya) were very nice and positive. Looking forward to my new frames! Thanks Dr. Mike! read more

Wow! I felt so comfortable and taken care of with Dr. Mike. I'd been having vision issues, went to two opthamologists and a different optometrist to try to figure it out but to no avail. Dr. Mike not only figured it out, he dialed my vision in perfectly! He is awesome! read more

The best Optometrist out there. I cannot being to compliment Dr. Lenhardts wonderful demeanor and is just kind hearted and very knowledgeable in his work of Optometry. The staff are so friendly, especially the Optician whom is very professional and goes above and beyond to make sure the glasses you got are up to a high standard. Definitely a great place for that "Primary Care" eye care you need, and I will continue to keep this as my only Optometrist. Wait time is but a few minutes and the exam is thorough and he actually will consider all your health history to get an accurate diagnosis. Best Optometrist ever and would suggest him to everyone if they want someone who is kind, compassionate and a truly well versed and knowledgeable Practitioner. read more

Best experience ever!! I originally went to another optometrist place in the morning but wasn't satisfied with their frame selection for the price range I had. I remember finding this optometrist office on yelp, so I called with no appointment to see if I could come in to pick out frames and have my prescription done here. They were great at fitting me in with no appointment. Once I arrived, the staff was very welcoming/friendly. Inside was very clean, organized, cozy and had lots of frames to choose from. I was then helped by Anne to choose the right frame for me. Anne was amazing at helping me pick the right frame that complimented the shape of my face. She was very patient, kind and knowledgeable. She was even able to price match the amount I would of paid at the other optometrist place. Which was so great of her because it saved me time and hassle of looking around at other places. I am definitely glad I came here and I will be coming back for future needs!! I would recommended this place to anyone of all ages! read more

Dr. Mike is great! I've been going to him for years and have referred 3 or 4 very happy customers!

This is the most helpful and friendly doctor's office I have ever visited. I am definitely a customer for life! From my first phone call to the office, I was greeted by a very friendly employee who was patient and very accommodating. Then, during my appointment, the staff was welcoming and processed my information in a timely manner. Next, Dr. Lenhardt was so thorough and very knowledgeable about which contacts I should choose as I was in the market to switch brands. He also has a great sense of humor. So that I could ensure that I was selecting the brand that was right for me, they gave me samples of two brands to try. Following my purchases, I was having some trouble submitting eye exam documents to a third party company. And as I thought I was bugging Desiree (the sweetest person on the planet) she assured me that I was no bother and that she would take care of everything. Although she said this was part of her job, she went above and beyond to help me!! As I have been extremely busy at work and was having trouble trying to find the time to complete the submission of the documents, Desiree's help was a much-needed relief. When I received a message from Desiree saying that EVERYTHING was taken care of, I literally cried because I was so relieved. Thank you thank you thank you! I tell everyone about your office and even posted your magnet on my file cabinet at work to promote your office! read more

I found Lenhardt Optometric group through a Groupon deal over 2-3 years ago and I still plan to keep seeing Dr. Mike as my optometrist. It's pretty tough out there looking for an affordable optometrist that understands how hard it is for people to receive health benefits and I am truly grateful to have the office serve me with great patient service. The staff makes my visit always enjoyable. I love the whole staff there. Tanya and Desiree for always recognizing my voice and name over the phone and greeting me with happy voices. They are super silly! hahaha and Anne for always readjusting my frames because I always end of sleeping on them... They have a wide variety of frames so I try to avoid going into the office because I know I would end up picking out new frames when I have 3-5 pairs of glasses at home already! I'm due for another annual eye exam soon, so I'm pretty sure new spectacles will be chosen during that time.:) thanks again. read more

truly amazing people! everyone is friendly, and when my glasses that i bought from them had some of the clear tint coming off less than a year after i bought them, i came in and talked to them about it. they examined the glasses, and ordered a brand new pair free of charge due to it not being my fault. new glasses came in a week later. will definitely come back! read more

I agree that "Dr. Mike" is "super cool" and very friendly and nice as is his staff. Unfortunately 3 of the 4 family members who went to him were unable to wear their glasses or experienced headaches while wearing them. We were told repeatedly to go back if our glasses didn't work for us. I went back once because my glasses were crooked and when I left they were still at an angle. I have to admit that we didn't pursue our difficulties; however we've been to many optometrists and this is our first experience like this. read more

Dr. Mike is the best! He is so good with our kids and they really enjoy going to the eye doctor. Thank you for taking such great care of our family. You and your staff rock! read more

I seriously can't say enough about the Lenhardt Optometric Group. When I went to my first appointment for my eye exam, they were very professional and nice. They explained everything to me in detail - why they were doing it and what they were doing it. They even gave me a copy of my eyeball pictures! Incredibly nice staff and doctors. read more

Dr. Mike Lenhardt is awesome and goes way above and beyond to assure the future health of his patients' eyes. He is extremely thorough and takes as much time as needed, and explains everything clearly. I have severe astigmatism and I can see 20/20, thanks to Dr. Mike. read more

I yelped local optometrists in my area due me being unsatisfied with my previous one and this place had the best reviews. Let me tell you folks, the hype is real!! Dr. Igne did my eye exam and she was so professional and sweet. When it came time to choosing my frames, I worked with Anne. She gave me her honest opinion on what looked best on me and educated me on the different types of AR coatings. I'm normally super cheap and just get the basics, however due to my job I'm on the computer all day. Anne suggested a special blue AR coating that filters out harmful blue lights so I thought I'd give it a try. I received my glasses about a week and half later. Everything was great minus the blue coating. Due to me driving a lower/smaller car I catch all sorts of lights from other cars when driving at night. When headlights hit my glasses at certain angles it would create blue dots in my lenses that felt like a blind spot. After giving it almost a week I called the office back to see if I could get the blue coatings off. I spoke to Audrey and she was very empathetic. She called the lab for me and ordered replacement lenses without the blue AR coatings. About 2-3 days after my call my replacement lenses were ready. Anne assisted me again with replacing the lenses, she was so kind and even allowed me to come 10 mins before they closed. This office is awesome and delivers top notch customer service. I can't give the staff enough praise! Can't wait to come back in the future! read more

Everyone here loves their job and love interacting with all the patients who pass through. They made me feel so relaxed and comfortable and helped me pick out the PERFECT glasses. Real cool place, I would recommend it to everyone. read more

I'm very particular about the care I get for any aspect of my health and don't rate 5 stars easily. But I have never had a better exam than with Dr Mike. So thorough, personable, patient and very caring without being annoying. I've never felt so knowledgable about my eye health, what a great feeling. The staff is also great and make sure you understand all the billing aspects to the best glasses fittings, etc. I also brought in my 4 yr old for her first eye exam and was more than pleased at how Dr Mike made it enjoyable for her, not scary at all. I've found our optometrist for life! read more

Customer Service is amazing...I had a very busy schedule and had to go on a trip. Once they found out that is very difficult for me to come back again and pick up my lenses, they arranged time and delivered it for me to Fullerton Train station which I always pass by going home...to me that was amazing and meant a lot to me. Otherwise I had to drive from Irvine to Fullerton again...Thanks to Tanya & Ann!! read more

Brought my daughter here for an eye exam based on the Yelp reviews. Very friendly office. Doctor spent an appropriate amount of time with her during the exam. He recommended a prescription based on her visual needs. We had the prescription filled and she is very happy with the results. We will return when other family members need their vision checked. Thanks for an affordable visit! Quality care at a good price. read more

I was looking for a new Optometrist for my three daughters and I, and wanted a place where they had a great selection of glasses to chose from. Well I'm so happy that I found Lenhardt Optometric on Yelp. The doctor is so funny, personable and great with kids. He spent time with each one of us and made our visit pleasant. My kids really enjoyed working with him. The staff is also so nice and helpful. They spent time helping each one of us find a pair of glasses that were perfect for each of us. This was the best eye exam I've ever had in 30+ years of of wearing glasses. Mike was so helpful and friendly. I'd never been told that saying two lenses were indistinguishable was helpful. That removed the tension. He even showed my lenses were too strong, and fixed that for me. He answered my nerdy questions about what things meant in the numbers he used. read more

Dr. Mike is an awesome and thorough doctor. He answers all questions thoroughly and gives you only the best. I am so pleased with this Dr's office. I recently went to a different optometrist for my yearly exam and was so disappointed with the service I received that I canceled my husband's appointment and switched to Dr. Mike's office. I am so very glad that I did this. They listened to our needs and didn't force any products or extra upgrades ($) on us. Unlike my experience at the other Dr's office, we felt like patients rather than customers. I will definitely be making my yearly appointments with Dr.Mike from now on! read more

If anyone near Fullerton needs a good optometrist, I found a great one! Great eye exam, lots of communication, state-of-the-art equipment, worked with my insurance, fabulous fashionable frames selection, and nice contacts information. The whole office is great and really wants to help. I have been to four optometrists in Fullerton in the last ten years, and Dr. Mike and his staff win hands down. In fact the others don't even come close. After my dog chewed up my glasses on a Friday afternoon, they gave me an appointment immediately and stayed after hours to make sure I was well taken care of. I could not have asked for anything more. read more
