Was in the area for an early morning appointment at the hospital and decided to come to Lena's for breakfast. We ordered French toast and meat lovers omelette. We enjoyed are food for sure. My omelette was amazing! The eggs were so fresh and creamy. When I'm back in area I will stop back in for breakfast again. read more

We love this place. It's one of our favorites. Used to be called Stan's and when Lena took it over it didn't miss a beat the food's great very homemade. One thing I'd like to say. Some of the best corn beef flash I've ever had. There is an issue they do not give you enough of it. Please guys put a little more on the plate! I actually almost said something last time I was there. Give more hash when you serve the meal. But we do love it. We recommend it and hopefully they see this and understand. PS it's time and again with the hash. It's not just the one or two times. I always order it and I'm always disappointed in the amount. read more

Love this little breakfast and lunch spot. Decided I needed some breakfast while in town. Spotted this on my way into the area. Yelped breakfast and things clicked. I am so glad they did because while reading the menu I saw (fan favs) and tried the corned beef hash. Amazing!! Real corned beef and potatoes real to the naked eye. Friendly staff and patrons! What a place! From the outside it doesn't look like much but it has lots of seating inside and a friendly staff. And the food ..... it was great. Sausage gravy and biscuits - was delicious. There was plenty of gravy and tender biscuits. The pancakes were HUGE. I had the breakfast club #4 - 2 eggs cooked just as I like them, bacon that while thin was prepared perfectly, and 2 pancakes. You really only need one. The pancakes were delicious- not too thin, had a good body and yet weren't tough. The coffee was delightful. Sometimes it is hard to find good coffee, but this is good. A local roaster from Honesdale. Always nice to support local business. read more

Good prices, great homemade corn beef hash. Omelettes made with fresh vegetables. Friendly waitresses. My only complaint,if you could call it that is the menu is slightly limited. No eggs Benedict, no breakfast burritos or quesadillas, no waffles . All in all a nice place with good food. read more

Stan's is a great little diner. Eaten here many times and the food is always good, the service is nice and the price is right. Philly cheesesteak does not use Cheese Wiz (heresy!) but is still very good. In the diner category, I give it 4.5 out of 5 stars. Nothing fancy, but better than most. read more

Corn beef hash breakfast favorite! Huge portion served very warm and delicious. French toasted with banana and strawberry was amazing. Wow Everything is very fresh. My all time favorite - the home fries (had to order for second because it was so yummy!) Great service! Staffs are so friendly and attentive and lovely. Hit this for breakfast and was not disappointed...big portions, good coffee, and very reasonable prices. When in the area I would return.

Stopped at Stan's Cafe for the 1st time this week. The pictures on Yelp alone attracted me there, but none more so than the pics of the corned beef hash. I ordered the hash along with that mornings special omelette. To call Stan's hash, hash, is almost a disservice! It was like tasting a Reuben there was so much corned beef! Stopped with my mom and ordered the chicken salad club sandwich. Wow, autistic friendly chicken salad at a restaurant! Yes dears, you can actually order the chicken salad here and it's made like you make it at home with your food issues. No gristle or scary stuff to throw you off chicken salad for the next six months. It was excellent on perfectly toasted rye, fresh and consistent and high quality meat. The macaroni salad was a little on the bland side but overall very good. service was top notch, friendly waitress explained things to me without hesitation and that means a lot to someone like me. We stopped in for a breakfast on Saturday. The place was packed, (always a good sign) but lots of parking. We figured it would be at least 30 minutes to get seated. But with a young, fully-staffed team, they were able to seat us within about 15 minutes. Clearly a well-run family business. The interior is quaint and simply country with lots of details making it very cozy. The service was nothing other than exceptional with very attentive servers. Lastly, the food. WOW. Amazing portions, very fresh ingredients, perfectly cooked all for under $8. Really a great place. Nothing else to say really. It's one of those little gems hidden in a small town where the locals don't even know how good they have it!!! read more
