Meat Heads Takeout

Being in the mood for…read moresomething hot I ordered The Bandito which is grilled chicken, pepper Jack cheese, jalapeños, lettuce, tomato, and chipotle mayonnaise. It was decent but nothing really special. So why four stars. Because their Deli Sandwiches made with Boars Head Cold Cuts are fantastic. My wife brought home two Roast Beef Hoagies that were packed with delicious Boars Head Roast Beef. The bread was crisp on the outside and soft inside. The lettuce and tomatoes were fresh and tasty. The only thing I would recommend is that you ask for salt and pepper in any Boars Head Cold Cuts because Boars Head doesn't add salt to their meats, which is actually a good thing. This is a great place to get a sandwich.

I regularly get their roast beef hoagie with extra meat and mayo, and it's always been excellent.read more

The food was good, but the service was not so much. The one girl took our order and never communicated with the cook that something was ordered. Apparently, asking for the missing order item is very disrespectful. The blond girl was very rude to us and gave us attitude. The napkin dispenser was empty on the table. The only place to sit was two picnic tables. Don't get me wrong, food was good, a little pricy, but it's hard to find good fried chicken up here that isn't soaked in grease. The one guy up front greeted us, very friendly, and was doing most of the work. I would get food again but just to go and not eat in. After the interaction and the girl spoke like that, I wouldn't go in to eat there. She needs to learn to be kinder with customer service. read more
