Service was friendly and inviting! Cheese omelette with Rye toast and home fries - comfort food for sure and good. Pancakes.... Didn't need extra food however they looked incredible and were. Will go back for sure. Note- if use on street parking as the parking lot can be full , then bring a quarter for the meter. read more

We ate at Lake Wally Cafe twice on our visit to Hawley near Lake Wallenpaupack. A hidden gem for sure. Very popular little place but easy to just walk in and grab a seat. The staff, service and food are great! You can't beat the prices either. I highly recommend their French Onion Grilled Cheese which comes with French Onion Soup. Delicious! read more

Stopped for Brunch on way back from a Day trip. Carly & Sage made us feel right at home & gave us Great Service. It was so nice to see the Chefs happily cooking away! I had a Bacon Egg & Cheese and Hubby had an omelet with all the fixings, both were delicious! I would highly recommend eating here & hope to be back soon myself! read more

Best breakfast in Hawley. Great beef/pork hash( lake wally hash). Cheese steak omelette was fantastic. Owners sister was so friendly and the waitress, Bree, was so very friendly and cheerful. I hardly give 5s but they deserve it read more

So the turkey sub was really good cause of how much turkey they put in it. Older woman waitress wasn't that great... went MIA. Also, it took a very long time for a turkey club sandwich and a turkey sub.. not sure I'd come back if in the area. read more

Have been here a few times when traveling. Very disappointed this time. If not for friendly waitress would be a bust..had to wait for table and the two men working there were rude..no urgency to clean table off for us after waiting 10 minutes. Food was ok. Asked for gravy on my home fries...was forgotten and didn't get tol done w meal and I could see one of the guys was disturbed I asked for it. Will not stop again read more

I can't think of a single negative thing about this place. We stopped here while visiting the area for the weekend and this place was recommended to us. The service was so prompt and pleasant. The food was delicious! I highly recommend the cannoli stuffed french toast! The place was busy, but the servers stayed on top of it and we had basically no wait at all! read more

In town and close to lots of shops and restaurants events. People waited on us quickly and were very kind. Seating inside and outside and counter service. Free WiFi. Nautical decorations. Food was scrumptious. They use real salsa for the quesadillas. My sister loved her bbq cheeseburger. The onions in the picture are from my sister's sandwich. She didn't want them. The staff take extra precautions with their gluten free food to be sure there is no cross contamination. I really appreciate that that since I have celiac disease. I have gotten gluten free food here plenty of times and never had an issue. The owners are very friendly people and will do what they can to make sure your food is good. The prices of the food aren't bad for a small Cafe in a small town which would keep locals coming in again for great service. I have seen and heard about local people take friends and family member from out of the area to eat here. I would recommend this place for anyone looking for a good place to eat. read more

Waitress was awesome! However this is the second chance I gave them and they failed. Food was soggy. Ordered Blt and fries. Fries under done bacon soggy. I didn't say anything it's not worth it because the last time I complained about my chicken sandwich I was told it is what it is. There was a tiny tiny piece of chicken that was the size of half the bun. I still had to pay and it tasted horrible. Will not go back to this place at all. read more

Menu looked good on Yelp & there were good reviews. There were also Gluten Free options so we decided to go here... As soon as we walked in we were bombarded with the smell of fried food and smoke. I knew I was going to smell like food the rest of the day I ordered 2 eggs over medium and the sweet potato home fries. It was just ok. I was told the home fries weren't deep fried but they seemed like they could've been, but I ate them anyway, as I said they were just ok. My husband ordered the Spinach, Onion Swiss Omelet with home fries and it was just ok as well... the potatoes were disappointing to him. The service was good, very kind and helpful. I think the reason I would say I wouldn't recommend this restaurant is because of the lack of ventilation. Made the experience somewhat unenjoyable and I couldn't wait to leave because of it. read more

We had a fantastic experience. The pancakes were delicious with a rich buttery flavor. The omelette was huge and packed with fillings. French toast was great. The corn beef hash had real chunks of corn beef and the perfect amount of char. Our server was very friendly and attentive. The place is very small and every table filled. We arrived with luck timing and had no problem grabbing a booth for our family of four. Oh! And if you have little ones this place has a stack of coloring books for use. We will be back! read more

Never disappointed. Great french toast and pancakes. Small town friendly service and good food at a good value. Not much seating and busy breakfast crowd but with a wait. Home made biscuits and sausage gravy are really good and the blueberry pancakes are very tasty. Other favorites of my family are the shredded hashbrowns and for lunch their chicken cordon Blu sandwich. read more

Waited 40 min. For eggs. Asked if my order was put in and was accused of yelling at the woman!!!! I was simply asking a question. Then I was told rudely that they had taken out orders to do!!! Place was freezing bathroom had urine all over and parking lot horrible!!! Left with our eating. All they had to do was say we're sorry but your order is in and we're busy!!! But no they got rude with me . 40 min for eggs is unacceptable!!!! read more

Tried to meet friends for drinks there, but The system they use does not scan out of state licenses or federal Identification. So although my husband both had his Real ID FL license and his military spouse ID, he was totally denied service, and was told he can't even be in the bar. Unfortunately they lost customers tonight because of it. While I understand PA licenses have to be scanned, it is a huge flaw that they don't scan any other ID's, especially those that you can even fly through airports and enter federal property with. For a town that relies heavily on tourism in the summertime, I feel that it's a massive flaw to not accept out of state licenses.

Great place for breakfast. Stopped in and had scrambled eggs with home fries, my wife had an omelette. It's a cute, quiet place with homemade baked goods too. I bought a package of cookies and they were amazing. The service was prompt and polite. Looks like a family run business. Place was also very clean. The breakfast was great. Had poached eggs which were done right and great potatoes on the side. The pancakes were also great. Would order them alone if I was in town again. The prices were very reasonable. Easy on the wallet. If I was ever back in town I definitely would be back for breakfast.
