Very disappointed, used to be the best pizza place in the area, now worse than the average. They also cheap out on ingredients, very light on vegetable pies-nothing like shown on pictures. Barely any pepperoni on the pepperoni pie, counted no more than 10, that's less than 2 per slice-what a joke. The original taste is also gone, reminds me of the $1 slices I used to get in NYC, and even those tasted better. Over $20 a pie and they can't even get it right. Sad to say that even Sam's Club made pizza is better and much cheaper. Lost me as a customer. Me and my friends tried this place for a mini-celebration. We made the right decision on picking this spot, the owners were very friendly, ambiance was homey, food was delicious, price was fair, place was clean. I ordered Alfredo with spaghetti pasta, garlic knots and I drank two beers. The pasta servings were humongous, in fact I was unable to finish the portion that they served me. It has a luscious creamy sauce. Garlic knots was exceptionally and pleasantly "garlicky". Waite service was great, they regularly checked our table for our needs. Family home vibes is what welcomed us. I love supporting local small family business. They have been a staple in the community. It seems like everyone know each other while dining in there. We asked to be seated outside to get a great views of the river and the neighborhood. Staff is very nice and friendly. I loved my clam linguine. Homey made. I could feel the love that's been included with it. Never have I finished big serving as like that. That's how much I enjoyed it. I am a calamari fan but did not like how they cooked it for us. Their new location is very nice. They did a great job! Next time I think I'd like to dine in rather than get take out. I have mixed feelings on the pizza. I think the crust, the sauce and the taste are all very good. However I think the issue is execution. We ordered a cheese pizza and I don't like the fact that the cheese separates from the crust. Meaning you can pull the entire layer of cheese of the crust with one bite. I think the crust, sauce and cheese need to be one harmonious bite. The pizza with toppings also lends it self to a soggy crust. The crust can definitely not stand up to peppers, mushrooms and onions. If you don't lift the slice of pizza with two hands or some sort of spatula all of your toppings will end up on the floor/plate/box/wherever. So again while the taste is quite good there are definite problems with the pizza. read more

Let's start with the food. pizza was ok not a fan of the dry herbs they put on top of the pizza. Heavy flop on the pizza! Mozzarella sticks were ok but there was not a lot of cheese in them. My wife and I are snowbirds we come down every summer. It is our go to place for pizza.

The server was friendly. The food was very good. The portion was more than enough, and the average cost is about eighteen dollars per meal. The restaurant has a gluten-free pizza and gluten-free macaroni. Our order took about fifteen minutes to prepare. They have a small dining area with about ten tables. The bad part is the parking. They have about five spots in the back. You have to park in metered parking spaces. The good part is after 6 pm you don't have to pay. She gets four stars. We went a second time. The server wasn't very friendly. I received the bill, and it was poorly written. I couldn't read the bill, but I do know that I was charged almost fourteen dollars for two drinks. But then again, I couldn't read what was written. The restaurant is uncomfortable to sit in as it is very hot. She gets two stars. read more

Best pizza around. When my family comes up from Florida, they Make a special trip to pick up a few pizzas. My personal favorite is the Bacon Pizza. Service is wonderful. You may have a long wait, especially if you don't order ahead...which is fine, because that is a testament to the delicious food! And, what could be better than a pizza place? I love the new location, and especially enjoy the outward appearance of a cabin! They do have a nice dining area, but we've always done takeout. A quick weekend getaway , All the way from Queens , NY , to find A small mom and pop pizzeria that has one of the best pizzas I ever had . That's right ..... better than MOST NY pizzas. My hubby and I are in town for a family reunion/wedding. Unfortunately, this town gets crazy busy during the summer so the wait for a table of 7 (without a reservation) was approximately 2 hours long for dinner. This pizza place was the perfect solution after we attempted to eat at 2 other restaurants. There was plenty of seating and it was reasonably priced. They also immediately offered a high chair for my 3 year old nephew. The waitress was attentive and checked in on us regularly. The pizza had good sauce and decent dough (slightly thicker than a NY slice, but it wasn't bad.) Also note they have gluten free pizza and pasta for those with special dietary needs. My sister in law ordered the gluten free pasta with vodka sauce and the gluten free pizza for my nephew. :) read more

Have given this place several tries. Margarita pizza is awful. It's greasy, not fresh mozzarella and not enough sauce. Dry. I even chewed on the plastic wrapping the fake fresh mozzarella they use on the pizza. Sausage and pepper pizza is mushy and slimy. I live 3 mins from them so it's not my ride home that caused it. While this place doesn't look like much, looks can be deceiving. We have tried this place three times now, and it is one of our favorites. The sandwiches are great. The sausage, peppers and onions are the best we have had. The eggplant parmigiana- either as a sandwich or entree is great - thinly sliced , real eggplant. We Just finished up a very tasty meal and nice dining experience. This is a casual family style place with good and friendly service and good eats. BYOB is welcome. My husband and I each had a salad, for which the waitress kindly brought fresh mozzarella cheese to top them off. We also enjoyed an order of fried zucchini sticks that were fresh and tasty and a chicken parmesan with pasta dinner which we split. They also brought us fresh bread. More than enough food. I placed an online order for pickup at 7:10. I arrived at 7:15 and was told my order would be out in a few minutes. After 15 min of waiting I asked the status of my order only to be told to wait with an annoyed woman who obviously couldn't handle the incoming calls and in person customers at the same time. She was VERY rude. Pizza was finally ready at 7:35. WTH. We drive to our hotel and find the pizza being very soggy with toppings and cheese sliding off the crust. This small hidden gem in Hawley PA is delicious authentic pizza! We were traveling on 84 and googled pizza places and found this place on main street in Hawley. We went with their speciality pizza called "Joe and Lorenzo's special" The perfect combination of meat and fresh veggies. If you are in town or even close it is worth the drive. Today we ordered 2 pizzas to go and enjoyed cold sodas while waiting. I noticed the Italian flag and a map of Sicily. Since my grandparents were from Sicily we asked where they were from. The man said Palermo, so I told him my grandfather was from Isnello which is in the province of Palermo. Immediately he acknowledged our common bond. The pizza was excellent and not the usual American style pizza, which is sometimes too salty and has too much cheese. The taste was delicate and light. So delicious!!! I will be back.
