Dive bar vibes, pool table, some games. Local spot. I did not have any idea how good everything that we ordered would be. Hot, fresh, full portions at a value of a price. Drinks were great. Delaney was an awesome server and recommended great drinks. Onion rings were huge. Absolutely awesome and took me by surprise. read more

We always enjoy our food and drinks . Tiffany is the best . very attentive and help-ful friendly 5 star for sure.

Last time I was here The Brookside was under different ownership and that review probably would have been 2 stars. Since the new ownership has taken over they have changed some decor and brightened the place up a bit and have started doing some differently themed food days like a wing night and a southern soul food style Sundays event. The service here has been good the few times I've been in. I'm always greeted immediately and helped to a beverage and given a menu. I haven't experienced any long waits to get another drink and everyone has been very friendly. This review specifically is on their wings. We were in on a wing night and got the garlic ranch wings and the Kings hot honey wings. This wing special night has a list of sauces that changes weekly. You'll still have your staples every week but there are quite a few that rotate in and out so it doesn't get stale. My gf loves the garlic ranch and I'm consistently trying new flavors. I also had the blackberry bbq which were very tasty, and the plain Buffalo (The OG baby) also has good flavor. These wings are nice and crispy without sacrificing the juiciness of the meat itself. They are not tiny little wings but they are also not these mammoth ones you see at some places where it's impossible to get a proper cook on them and still have good texture. I'll be back in soon to try out that Southern food menu, but the wings absolutely Didn't Suck! read more

Absolutely outstanding service! From the moment I sat down, Leila Absolutely outstanding service! From the moment I sat down, the bartender made me feel welcome and taken care of. Their knowledge of drinks was impressive--they crafted the perfect cocktail based on my preferences, and it was easily one of the best I've ever had. Not only were the drinks top-notch, but their friendly attitude and attention to detail really elevated the whole experience. The atmosphere felt fun and relaxed thanks to their energy behind the bar. If you're looking for great drinks and even better service, this is the place to be. Five stars all the way! read more

Stopped by bar. Friendly and affordable. Definitely a local place with a lot of regulars. Bigger crowds on weekends. Beer was cold, did not sample food. Would go back for a meal sometime. read more

I get there for lunch on my half days. I get my 'toasted' cheese and glass of wine. Renee is by far the best host Bartender And etc. the place definitely has changed in the years and for the better! read more

Hadn't been to this place in years because of the former policy of smoking allowed in the bar area which filtered into the dining room. Apparently new owners, renovations and now smoking not allowed. We went there on a weekday when two other choices were closed and were pleasantly surprised. Ordered a pizza and a salad for two, wine and a beer. Great pizza, good service and reasonable priced. I'd go back again to sample other entrees. read more

Awesome, lowkey place. As soon as my friend and I walked in we were greeted by Shawn "wing king" Smith. He let us know he was the best wing maker in the northeast, and he might be correct. The rest of the staff were also incredibly kind and welcoming. Food was delicious. Vibes were great. Will definitely be coming back next time I'm in the area! read more

Typical bar food ...nice outdoor are with tiki bar..duck pond ..cold beer ...nice honky Tonk Service excellent read more

Got a bunch of to go food while in the area for the weekend with friends. Nothing particularly special. Wings were great. Pizzas seemed a little over done and dry. But not terrible. Prices very reasonable compared to some other spots nearby. read more

Cool little dive bar! Was up in Tobyhanna with the fam for a little getaway and my wife and inlaws took the kids to a lake beach. It was too hot out for me so I dropped them off and looked for a local bar to get a beer and a bite. Found this place. Total locals vibe to it. Sat at the bar and was greeted immediately by the bartender who introduced herself as Renee. She was super cool and had me laughing about a couple things. Got 2 ipa's to drink, don't remember what they were, and got some wings. Wings were cooked perfectly and the beer was cold. Don't think I would bring the family in there, but I would definitely stop back in if I'm not with the kids. read more

Came in for two sandwiches and an order of mozzeralla sticks (asking for the order to-go since we needed to beat the traffic) and waited for almost an hour. We asked twice for an estimate of how long it would take before finally being told that it would be another 15 minutes. A NY deli would have put our order out in under 10, so I have no clue what they were doing in the kitchen. The place wasn't very busy either, so I assume that this is a case of insane understaffing read more

Amazing food and great atmosphere! I basically had everything on the menu to eat and I enjoyed it all!

The pizza was kind of like bowling alley food. You can eat it but you're not coming back for it. The service was good . Place had an odor and wasn't the cleanest. read more

Tonight we tried out the Brookside Inn in Tobyhanna just off of 611- recently under new ownership. It's more of a local bar-bright and clean and welcoming. The menu is chock full offun bar food. We started out with slices of pizza, which had a nice, crispy crust and the perfect amount of cheese. I have yet to find a place close enough to our Lake Harmony home that I actually like the pizza-and this was definitely the best I've had in this area. The green bean "fries" with wasabi dipping sauce were my favorite of the appetizers that we ordered. The pierogies and mini tacos were also very good. We shared the cheesesteak and the patty melt-both were tasty-the patty melt is always #1 in my heart. Both were served with hand-cut fries, which I love. They have daily specials, including happy hour, DJ nights and live music, and you can even shoot some pool. Prices are great, especially for the beer. Staff was great and the drinks were perfect. Looking forward to see what the summer has to bring on their outdoor patio! Check them out if you're in the area. read more

Awesome Bartenders! The pizza is always great! I tried the Meatball Parm sandwich the other day and it was AMAZING!!!

Just left the Brookside Inn. The waitress was very friendly and seemed to care about the customer. It took over 30 minutes to get two hamburgers and fries. Not her fault but it sucked waiting 30 minutes for two burgers and fries! When I ordered my hamburger I specified, I did not want cheese on it. The menu did not say cheese, but I wanted to be sure that it didn't come out with cheese on it. Guess what, it came out with cheese on it. The waitress apologized a lot and said she would take it back and get another one. She came back out within about a minute and said she was sorry again. I told her they could just scrape the cheese off and it'll be fine. She said he probably already threw it out and was starting another one. Now I'm guessing I have to wait another 20 or 30 minutes for a hamburger and watch my friend, eat their burger while I sat there and waited. Horrible experience. This is not the waitresses fault and I felt bad about not leaving at least a 20% tip, but my thought is that's up to the waitress to chew the cookout because HE cost her a better tip! read more

Ordered nachos, chili cheese fries and a BLT with Onions rings. Literally all I can say is that the food was trash. Tiniest BLT ever. Nachos were stale with very little toppings. Chili cheese fries were bland. Incredibly disappointed will never order from them again. read more

This place was awesome. Stopped in on Wednesday, .60 wings, family ended up eating 36 wings, lots of flavors. All great. The pizza was amazing. Garlic knots were fantastic. Will definitely come here every time we hit the poconos. Staff was fast and friendly also. read more

My mistake for ordering veggie pizza. They need to take that off the menu. They put Roma tomato on top that made entire pizza soggy. Just order plain cheese pizza or pepperoni pizza. read more

This is exactly what you want in a back woods dive style bar/ restaurant. The wait staff were quick and friendly. The tap beer was nice and cold. They had indoor and outdoor seating available. It was close to 100 degrees that day so we did not check out the outside. The food was not expensive and you got what you asked for. These days, that impressed me. It has become rare that wait staff actually listened to your whole order! The bathrooms were clean. And no one makes you feel out of place. Plus there is a pool table. A definite plus in my book. This is on the list of places I will go back to. The pizza looked good but we had other food. We will try it next time. I will post pics of the inside next time. read more

The Brookside Inn - Our order. - Pizza Near Me - Tobyhanna, Pennsylvania

If I could give zero stars I would. The place is absolutely filthy. The food is disgusting- the chicken soup was literally cold $1 canned soup being sold for $4.50, the pizza was soggy and tasted gross. The chili was literally dried beef and beans with cheese on top. The chicken Philly was by far the worst it had what I think was canned chicken that was dry with half melted cheese - it looks like it had been sitting out for hours. The rice balls have zero flavor which actually may have been an improvement compared to the rest of the food. The pretzel looks decent but honestly I'm hesitant to even try it. This place should be condemned. Go elsewhere. YUCK. Total waste of money. read more

ordered pizza we all had heart- burn. decided to give it another try we ordred wings.............we were throwing up all night!!! mama maria pizza now owns it and they are cheap on ingrideinces! everything there is dirt quality!!!! do not eat there! read more

Nothing to complain about . When they receive my order they get to cooking and delivery is not bad at all they come quick .

it's unfortunate the place was sold to the owners of Mama Maria's. Place used to be so good. Now half the things on the menu are gone including pizza. The food is ok but many items that I used to order are no longer on the menu. read more

It's a restaurant. It's a pizza shop. It's a bar. This place is all three and pretty much seems like a bar that decided to sell pizza and somehow turned into a restaurant. The food is good. The pizzas are HUGE. OHH,and they're pretty good too. The atmosphere is more bar like than a restaurant after 7PM. read more

If you want beer and bar food, this is a good go to. Cleanliness, meh. Customer service, not the best. Infairness, the waitress was new. The reality is the food is good, beer is cold and you're not going here for some formal event/date. It's a good place to go with buddies. Plus the $2 pizza comes out quick. Both options for $2 were delicious. The garlic knots were a little under cooked but still decent. Buddy had the burger and liked it. read more

I ordered from here last weekend. I was hoping to have a better experience. I ordered for a group, some pizza Pies, wings, and fries and not only did it take an hour to get here but they forgot the pizza.... I gave an extra star because the bar tender was able to get the pizza delivered separately by her boyfriend. Other than that the honey bbq wings were pretty good. The pizza was ok, I guess I'm used to New York pizza. The fries had no taste, they were just straight potatoes. Not even any salt lol... read more

5 stars from me! Excellent food, specials and service! Recently they stopped allowing smoking inside which makes the place a win in my book!

I've ordered from there twice and twice I've left without my food cause it's never ever ready in the time they give you. I hear the pizza good howeve I wouldn't know .if you're going to order give it some time. read more

Pizza is awesome, foods always pretty good, great place but takes long to get order and isn't the best looking decor.

It's one of the best restaurants in the Poconos. Yes, really. Do t go there for ambiance. Don't go there for fine dining. Go there for great food at a great price. Pizza is some of the best in the Poconos. Burgers are awesome. Beers are cheap. What else could you ask for. My family and I eat here often. read more

Best food on the mountain. The staff is also very friendly, I didn't go for a couple of months after going only a handful of times and they remembered what I drank. The food is great, I love the loaded shrimp quesadilla and the wings are good too. The $4.95 clam special on Thursday nights is a can't miss! Karaoke on Friday nights is always fun. I can't wait to hang out at the outdoor bar this summer! read more

We tried to order take out for 20 people at 9:45 for 11:30 pick up. We were denied and told we had to give 24 hour notice. I was then told that should be common sense. Definitely not how you should treat your customers. read more

The owner was super friendly. Pizza is the best on the Mountain hands down no question. Cheesesteak pizza is amazing. The Chef salad is so big with alot of meat. Pizza is so good here I had to talk to the person that made it. He came out of the Kitchen so I told him how good it was he thanked us and walked back in the kitchen because it was so busy. They have an outside bar during the summer. There are only two I know of in the Poconos the other is at PBC but I really like this one because they have horseshoes. Our bartender was "ZAN" she was getting married so we gave her a great tip. Over all its a locals place and I love that, I can see why they are so busy now. Food is great and well priced and the beer is cold. read more

Fantastic food Brookside fries are the best. Sandwiches were great too. Can't believe good food comes out of this bar.

It can be kind of great to alright depending on who is working. No management to speak of a alright pizza place owner(good location alright food) trying to run a bar with whoever happens to be working being in charge and making it up as they go one night people keep calling asking if the debate is on and the bar tender working says no and starts turning away business .. cooks cant cook a well done burger ( twice) I said its ok after pointing out the mistake so it must be right????( need that tip right full price it is ??then as the bartender wants to go home hey can you I mean do you wanna cash out before my shift is over um ...just checking I hoped a thought with new owners the food was going to be better at least I'm at 50% unacceptable but about typical bar food if its late your happy otherwise :( well i guess its ok tg for the good drinks S MAC and yes a real supervisor just go to Wendy's or burger king and get drinks after trust me read more
