Also not pictured but ordered balsamic toast appetizer. They were very good besides being very heavy on the raw garlic. It was pungent. Wow! We went as a family for Valentine's Day. The food was so good I didn't snap any photos. But the service was excellent and the food was delicious. I had filet mignon and it was cooked to perfection. My Cupid Valentine's Day drink was a strawberry and cream with vodka. So Yummy! The atmosphere was up to date and perfect for an evening with the family. It would Mae a great date night location as well. read more

The food was OK, but the service was really bad. The waiter didn't come to our table to see if we need refills on drinks while we wait an hour and 25 minutes for our food and then I told somebody to go see what's going on with my food and I think the manager Joshua realize we didn't get our food and went to go get our food and said something to the waiters then they came to try to help. The moral to the story is if you're waiting a long time for your food, it makes you don't wanna eat no more. read more

Had lunch today at the new "Queen City Tavern on Olyphant. It was OTown. was not at all impressed. We were given a drink menu and not told that it was outdated, we ordered draft beers and the waitress brought us bottles and then told us about the draft beers they really had. I ordered a fish sandwich which was frozen fish, so heavily fried that it was hard to find the fish. For new ownershi, work needs to be done. Miss OTown already! read more

I ordered the lobster grilled cheese and my boyfriend ordered the hot Nashville chicken sandwich. It literally took 25 - 30 mins before we got our food. The place was empty, so we didn't know why it took that long. There was small pieces of lobster but A LOT of cheese (hence grilled cheese). First visit was "cold." Unlike other JBAS restaurants, Queen City's atmosphere with staff was rushed and not personable. We were greeted by a quiet woman who took us to a table. Once a server came, we ordered drinks, one being a mocktail. The mocktail was too sour and the server suggested adding some more simple syrup. This improved it a tad yet I couldn't finish the drink leaving 3/4 of it on cup. our food was skimpy for the price. We were asked if we'd like dessert followed by our check. The friendliness was lacking and everything was rushed. A few weeks later, we decided to gove it a second shot Since we were in the area again. We sat at the bar this time. Our waitress was attentive however the food was poor. There was no flavor in the food and there were many flies flying around us. When asked if they could try to get rid of the flies, the gentleman behind the bar shrugged and mouthed no. It was disgusting. They obviously need a professional in there to correct this problem. We will not be back. I wish we had a better experience because we thoroughly enjoy the other JBAS restaurants. read more

The atmosphere is nice, and the upgrades done to the inside are amazing. It's really beautiful inside. It was pretty packed in the restaurant, so there was about a 15-minute wait for a table. The band was great, but seemed a bit loud for such a small space, at least during dinner. The drink that I requested was awful. It wasn't made correctly. It was excessively bitter and sour, not what it should have tasted like. The wait for food was about 50 minutes from the time we placed our order. We ordered a burger and a chicken sandwich, both with fries. No reason at all it should've taken 50 minutes. If the food had come out and been hot off the grill, I may have understood, but it wasn't. It was warm but not nearly what it should have been at that point. The food was ok. Nothing to rave about. The waitress was wonderful and really took everything in stride, so I can't complain about that part of the service. I won't be returning, though after today. A read more

Im sorry to say i was disappointed when i ate here. The items in the menu appeared to be amazing, the food looked good but unfortunately did not have any flavor to it. The sauces tasted better than the actual food. As for the drinks it tasted good but was not strong at all. I ordered a fishbowl for myself and to me ot tasted more like juice. Kudos to OTOWN Monday night staff, Front and Back of house (please please please thank BOH) I sat down. Was acknowledge immediately, given a menu, a prompt bottled beer, and my food order was taken a few moment after I was ready. The food was timely and delicious. 10/10, I can't wait to go back. The service was 10/10; it's a Monday... you're cleaning and prepping trying to head out ASAP so you at least end up with an OK wage for a Monday night. At no point did any staff (FOH or BOH) make that apparent, and kudos to them; that's tough. Is OTOWN a hidden gem? Yes. My husband got the short rib grilled cheese and it was so salty and dry and I ordered the fish sandwich and it was soggy. Received a gift for Christmas and decided to come and visit tonight. Came in and was promptly greeted and seated. Waitress Val was super friendly an attentive. We order Apps and they were amazing (pretzels and chicken and waffle sliders). As we sat down the people just kept coming and I am not sure who they have in the kitchen but they were pumping out the food. Very quick and just delicious. I had the steak and cheese panini which was great and the steak tender. My husband tried the Apple Pie burger...he went outside his comfort zone and was pleasantly surprised. He took the apples off in the end and had a little dessert side but kudos for him trying something different. I would recommend as we will no doubt be back. For a local business, this place isn't at all neighborhood-friendly. A business on their street was having a lovely craft fair today. Vendors from the area came in to advertise/sell their beautiful handmade wares. This company's people (Owner/workers) came out and threw a hissy fit and called the police! It was thought to be resolved, but, NO! They continued on and on-knowing that the police chief is on vacation...and forced the vendors to leave! Very poor way to deal with other people just trying to sell their wares. read more

My fiancé and I went to sit at the bar, it was Friday night and the bar was full so we got a table. We were seated quickly but waited about 20 minutes with no service, not even a "we'll be with you in a minute". Large groups from the bar were seated at tables so we moved over to the bar hoping to finally get served and ended up sitting for another 20 minutes, no one behind the bar even looked at us. Eventually after almost 45 minutes of waiting and not even being acknowledged we just left and went somewhere else. We weren't the only ones! Two other couples also left before us without being served. I've been coming to O-Town since they opened. I've always had great service and I love their food. Especially the Chipotle Stuffed Burger. I'd even say it's the best burger I've ever had! The wait is never bad at all, they're quick, and they have a good drink selection too. You can definitely enjoy coming here to just sit at the bar or to have a nice family meal. My most recent experience however, may be the reason I never come back. I took my co-worker here for lunch. The hours say that they open at 11 and we got their at 11 and had to wait till they opened up. I understand it, because they have to get ready and delays so happen, but it was just this start that added to the bad experience. We ordered spinach and artichoke dip as an appetizer. It was very good, but they did not give us a enough chips to fill the plate or to even finish the dip (and that was with us taking huge scoops too bc we realized early on we wouldn't have enough chips). For our main meal, we both ordered our burgers the exact same way. Chipotle stuffed burgers, no tomatoes, cooked medium. The burgers came out and I was about 2 bites in and noticed it tasted a little weird than what I expected. Also, it was cooked well done. After a couple more bites, I looked under the bun and saw what looked like shrimp or some kind of seafood. I looked on the menu and saw that they have a Cajun Lobster burger. When the waitress came back over I just said, hey I just wanted to let you know we didn't get the right burger. She said "well what burger did you get" I showed her the lobster and she's like yeah that's definitely not the chipotle burger and then walked away. No apology or anything. At this point, I was not expecting it to be re-made or even anything for free, because we did both make it almost halfway through our burgers before realizing. She came back with our check and since she didn't verbally acknowledge the mistake or apologize, I figured she might've taken off the $5 appetizer or have us 5% off. Nope, she dropped the check off, with us still being charged for the Chipotle Stuffed burgers (listed correctly on the receipt, even though that's not what we got). She didn't apologize, and didn't even ask if I wanted a box. Even though you could see my coworker had a full half left of his burger and I had only 3 bites out of mine. At this point, we just left and I don't think I'm ever coming back. Sorry O-Town. Came here because I had a groupon to dine while I visited with my lady from CT. Waited about 25 min for some lobster mac n cheese as an appetizer and it wasnt very hot. Took another 10 mins before my wings came out..COLD. I ordered boneless wings so they shouldn't have taken more than 15 mins. I sent them back because they were cold and they came back to me 5 mins later HOT. It's my assumption they just threw them in a microwave. So I sent them back and they took it off our bill but sent us with some in a ToGo Box, which was nice. Took about 55 mins for us to get our meals: a fish and chips and a burger.
