If I could give this place more than 5 stars, I would…read more First, I was a first time visitor after a remodel, I had no idea, but this location has been here for years, I thought it was brand new. I think the bar and outdoor patio is beautiful and well decorated, I just wish it was bigger. It's also an added bonus they have a small parking lot across the street, you don't JUST have street parking. Next, the food. I will admit that this bar food is not cheap, it's priced higher, because the dishes are "elevated". However, I don't mind paying a higher price for higher QUALITY. Everything I've eaten from here is incredible, delicious, fresh, with great presentation. WE EAT WITH OUR EYES. You can tell that the chefs in the kitchen put love and creativity into these dishes. The standard menu options ARE standard, but like I said, the freshness and flavor is there. Where this place really shines, is it's specials. Be sure to check out their Facebook page and stay up to date on limited release dishes, they're bomb. Delicious cocktails as well. Finally, the service. Here is where I want to knock off a star, but I can't, because the food is too good to not keep me from coming back. But the staff can use additional customer service training. I haven't sat at the bar yet, so I don't know if that might be a different experience. But when I've sat at a table (you seat yourself when you walk in by the way, there is no hostess), my waitresses are always in such a rush, that they don't spend a second more at your table than they HAVE to. I've ALWAYS had to ask them about the specials that I've seen on Facebook, I'm never told them when they come over to ask for my order, I'm the one asking them if the specials are still available. That stinks. I should be greeted with them immediately when I'm given my menu. So, will I return? Without a doubt. If I lived closer, I would be there every night for dinner. Amazing food and atmosphere, please consider this your new date night spot!

During the breaks that's when patrons start socializing and eating again. It was also a very family friendly place. We ordered: Drunken Clams (drowned in beer broth toasty bread) (I was expecting like a few very small clams, so we def more than expected ) and that beer broth was good. I might have drank it all. So, this restaurant holds a special place in my heart. It was a Friday night so I was expecting it to be a little busy, but I was so sad to see barely anyone in there around 6:30 at night. We parked and walked in the lower lot, past a beautiful outdoor patio space that looks like it's a blast to hang out at in the summer once the weather gets warmer. (Took a mental note to come back with friends!) We walked in and seated ourselves and our waitress came right over with menus and asked for our drink orders. I'm a Gin girl so I asked her for a Gimlet. Even though she admitted she hadn't made one in a while, it was delicious and strong. My fiance ordered the Italian beer on draft and was in heaven. We were starving and got an appetizer (which we rarely do) to spoil ourselves and we ordered the Cauliflower Bites instead of chicken, just to try something different. THEY WERE SO GOOD. Breaded, seasoned, and cooked to perfection, we were relieved we DIDN'T order chicken bites, these were a lighter and tasty alternative. We ordered our entrees, and didn't have to wait long at all for them to come out, we didn't even finish our bites yet. I ordered the Chicken Saltimbocca and my fiancé ordered the Pappardelle Bolognese. He LOVED his dish, said the sauce was a little TOO sweet for his taste, but he finished the whole plate, he couldn't stop eating. My chicken however was a little dry. It was covered in cheese and I ordered spinach as my veggie side so those made up for the dryness, but overall, it was also delicious. Would we return? YES! The atmosphere was so nice and chill, the decor/vibe of downstairs is almost like Olive Garden but way classier. The food is just as delicious as it was 6 years ago on our fist date. Our waitress was friendly and accommodating, asked us how everything was, and made small talk as she tended to other customers and cleaned tables. The Ladies Room was also well maintained and clean. The only downside is the lack of customers! I couldn't believe how empty the room was on a Friday night for dinner and my fiance told me that for the area, that's not uncommon. People would rather visit a chain restaurant in Dickson City or just go to the bar. Common people, visit Arturo's instead, you're missing out!

This review was very mixed. We'd heard great things about this place and wanted to try a new place…read moreas we've started exhausting a lot of local places. The decor was great, the drinks were FANTASTIC, my food was about a 5 out of 10. I had the carbonara. Very oily and not creamy at all. I would have used a different blend of cheeses to make it creamier and less oily. My guess is they used Asiago. Not bad but not as great as I was expecting. My wife had the red beet salad. Shockingly a $20 salad with canned beets on it. Mediocre at best but the canned beets ruined it. If your getting a salad that features a specific vegetable wouldn't you want that vegetable to be the best highlight of the salad? That was the good part. The service I can't even explain. I'm not sure what happened because if it were like this everyday they'd be closed. We walked in downstairs and was told to sit wherever we wanted and then we were forgotten about. The bartender finally came over after my wife was looking her way for 20 minutes. Bartender apologized for forgetting about us. No waitresses anywhere. The AC I think was off because it was cooler outside on a warm muggy PA night than it was inside. The bar was about 3/4 full and there was one table seated and we noticed about 3/4 of the outdoor seating was occupied as well. Not super busy at all. We waited about 20 minutes before we were approached. We ordered water until we could got our menus and reviewed them. Water never came. Someone else came over and asked us about ordering drinks. We ordered drinks and asked about our water. Water never came. Drinks came. Then yet a different person came over a few minutes later to take our food order. We ordered water again since we were planning on drinking more. My wife's appetizer came out, meatballs. Pretty good, similar but somewhat different flavor than my Italian mothers recipe. When the app came out that person finally got us silverware, napkins and our water. Food came a little later. That's described above. During dinner we had to get up to get refills on water and were never offered additional drinks or anything. We finally stopped someone and asked for our check. My wife had to go to the bar to pay the bill. No one ever came back to the table. At one point earlier we were asked who our waitress was and we all looked at each other because 4 or maybe 5 people were at our table at some point but it was like we still couldn't get stuff we needed. My wife paid with a card she had forgotten to activate and it declined. The bartender gave her the slip and the card and never noticed or told her. She realized it at the table. We had to go back to the bar and pay again because after cleaning that one table everyone except the bartender would vanish. Finally we paid, sweating our asses off in a corner table with the most bassy sound system pounding for 2 hours we got out of there and went to a local bar for drinks. I would have loved to have enjoyed this place and loved to have had more drinks because their bar was the highlight of the experience but it was clear they didn't care about us at all. And we were sweating to death.

My friend and I both felt as great as the food and architecture are, the service was outstanding. I'd be there at least once a week to expand my waistline. We were also greeted by insistent manager, whose name I shamefully do not recall. She also demonstrated pride in the establishment and serving its customers. Although it's quite a ways from home, I have no doubt that I will be back until then. I will look forward to it. The last time I visited, I was already inside, stepped out briefly to make a phone call, and was refused re-entry while several men walked right in without issue. Still one of the most bizarre customer service experiences I've ever had. It's impressive how one employee can make people swear they'll never come back. Nothing says "great security staff" like refusing re-entry to a woman who was already inside while continuing to wave men through the door. Absolute 0/10. So tender, cheesy, salty, the crispy pressed tortilla... You all do know what you're doing when it comes to food, I will say that. Which is something I rarely say about the area on the whole when I come to visit my family. The only problem this time was that we were being harassed by flies. During our dining, there were at least four flies that kept surrounding the table which we were swatting off on a regular basis. I know that is something that is challenging to control in a restaurant space but please try to take care of it. It made dining very challenging and there are very simple solutions to deal with this. It's not like we were eating outdoors. I will most definitely be back. But please, kill the flies.
