Since I had not had many opportunities to try Mexican food before, I decided to order a popular Mexican dish, the Beef Fajitas. The meal was served on a sizzling hot metal pan, which was a nice touch. The food arrived fairly quickly, and the wait was not long. My group ordered three Italian dishes and two Mexican dishes. Overall, the Beef Fajitas tasted good, but they seemed a little greasy, possibly because of too much oil or cheese. The portion size was reasonable and came with rice, beans and burritos. However, I was a little disappointed that there were more vegetables than beef, and some of the vegetables tasted burnt. (The rest, they said their food were good) This place also serves American-style breakfast items, burgers, and sandwiches. It would be interesting to come back and try some of those options, as well as more of the Italian dishes, on my next trip to Pennsylvania. Other than that, I had no major issues with the staff or the service. The restaurant is conveniently located and offers free parking in front of the building.

They should not be holding grudges to the point I can't get my money back! This is a disgusting environment for both workers and people! Also what was ordered was: The main dish: eggplant parm that was swimming in greasy sauce with just cheese on top didn't even taste good. these come with said order: Garlic knots that were hard as a rock and a side of the sauce which is just grease. A side of soup which was chicken and rice the rice wasn't even cooked it was hard.. Also ordered a burrito which resulted in a 42$ bill.

My blueberry cran mule was tasty (hate copper mugs, but what are you going to do). I ordered an appetizer at the same time as the cocktail. When she brought my cocktail she asked if I decided on a meal. After requesting recommendation between fish & chips or chicken marsala, and being told the fish was very crunchy, i went for the fish. Of course, my salad arrived before my stuffed mushrooms (which were the highlight of the evening). My fault, I should never order dinner before the appetizer arrives. Menu items are generally in the $30 and above range, so I can be excused for expecting better. Not sure if the ranch is made in-house, but it's was excellent. Then the fish arrived. This huge piece of fish, can't tell you what type, and not crunchy at all. The fries were delicious. So, for a $55 check, I was pretty underwhelmed.

We arrived right at 4:00 p.m. on a Friday as they were opening, and everything from the service to the food exceeded our expectations. Our server, Michelle, was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and made excellent recommendations. They had several daily specials that all sounded amazing. We started with the cheese fries, which instantly brought back nostalgic memories, they were simple, comforting, and absolutely delicious. For our meals, my husband ordered the Crispy Chicken Salad, topped with two large hand-breaded chicken tenders tossed in mild sauce with blue cheese dressing. My daughter loved her 6-cut Red Pizza, which arrived perfectly crispy and full of flavor. I ordered the wings, fried to perfection and served with mild sauce and blue cheese. On Michelle's recommendation, my son went with the Breakfast Burger, and wow! It was enormous and incredibly juicy. Every bite was outstanding. If you're anywhere near the area, do not sleep on this place! Their slogan says "Almost Famous," but I honestly don't think they'll be "almost" for much longer. Get here before everyone else discovers this hidden gem, you'll be glad you did!

I promised myself I'd visit their restaurant someday, and today I finally did. The service was excellent--warmly welcomed and greeted with professionalism. The menu offered plenty of choices, but I went for the Mixed Fajita dinner plate, featuring hanger steak, chicken, and jumbo shrimp, served with bell peppers, onions, refried beans, and rice. For authentic Mexican cuisine, this place is a must. Everything was cooked to perfection, and they even served warm mini soft taco shells so you could make your own tacos, along with complimentary salsa and chips. From what I gathered, you might be able to make reservations, though I'm not entirely sure. I'll definitely be coming back--until next time, stay safe and be blessed. The birria tacos had a strong cinnamon flavor we couldn't get past. That was all it tasted like and I just don't like beef that tastes like cinnamon. I did ask the bartender if they used it and she said yes they cook the beef with cinnamon stick and cardamon which gives it that flavor. I asked bc I thought maybe I just got a bad batch. Also we ordered the jalapeno queso, didn't like that either it had a bacon flavoring. The chips were also soaked in grease so they get chewy and a weird texture. The dessert was the saving grace being I was still so hungry bc I couldn't eat the other things. Dessert was great. I would just recommend trying something different else if you go. Or maybe adding the flavor profile on the menu so people are aware before ordering.

I did something stupid and I have zero regrets…read more I knew it was stupid. The waitress knew it was stupid. As did everyone at the bar. And you know what? I'd do it again in a heartbeat. Many years ago, I went on a little tour of Old Forge pizza. We tried the red. We tried the white. We went to the famous places. We went to the dives. But somehow we never made it to Anthony's? Maybe it was their hours? Maybe it was because the Old Forge white was not available by the cut? It's hard to say. But what I know for sure is that I came out of the tour with a deep abiding love for Old Forge white with broccoli. IMHO it needs the broccoli. Regrettably, my old favorites for white with broccoli have fallen from grace, which is a loss. But the silver lining is that I have found Anthony's and their white broccoli is amazing! An entire white broccoli pie is a staggering quantity of food. So when I walked up to the bar as a solo diner, and placed my order of a white broccoli pie for here, the waitress looked a little uneasy and paused for a moment. In the pause, I acknowledged that I knew I was ordering enough food for a crew, and that I expected to be taking much of it home. It also takes a staggeringly long time to bake something that large in an oven. And I knew that going in. So I nursed my Yuengling, and even took a few nibbles of bread and butter that were brought out while I waited. I have to say, that first bite just had me swooning, and I don't swoon easily. The top crust was beautifully seasoned with herbs, spices, and onions. The bottom crust was golden and crisp. The cheese was oozing and broccoli was bursting forth. Please, please, please eat this pizza in the restaurant. It's glorious when it first comes out of the oven. The longer it sits, the less crisp the bottom becomes. Trust me. It's worth it. With the beer, tip, and taxes, the whole thing set me back $33. Obviously there were leftovers too. My original plan had been to offer cuts of the pie to other folks at the bar, but by the time I got there, everyone had already eaten, so I wasn't able to give away a single cut. So it goes. And I did push myself to eat more than I should have. Slice one was a revelation. Slice two a delight. Slice three felt more like a dare. And slice four? That was pure hubris. I only got a couple of bites in and then I had to tap out. But I wanted to tackle at least half of the pie on premise. So it goes. I learned something about myself that night, but more importantly, I discovered a new Old Forge institution, to which I am looking forward to returning time and time again. P.S. I should note I saw lots of food come out, and really all the portions are huge. Just like I could have split this with a couple other folks, the same is true for every dish was brought to the bar.

EDITED TO ADD PRIVATE RESPONSE FROM "Ryan S". We were told…read morethe chicken wings would be 35 minutes, so we opted not to wait that long and ordered something different instead. 35 minutes came and went, and we kept thinking "oh, it'll only be a couple more minutes. It has to be. Because this wait is absurd." Not to mention, they brought out the little condiment container with a few packets of ketchup and some hand wipes, about an hour and a half before our meal was served. Normally, that kind of thing would be brought out just before your meal comes. Like, within minutes. Not hours. Finally had the opportunity to try this place. Sad to say, we were sorely disappointed. The place was empty when we got there. 2 ladies came in after us, ordered after us, and 45 minutes later, they ate their meal and left. Another guy came in after us, ordered his meal, got and ate his meal, and left. Meanwhile, we still hadn't seen our meal delivered and not a word from staff on why on earth it was taking so long. More customers come and go. FINALLY, nearly 2 hours later, we got 3 of the 4 meals we ordered. The food was ok, but definitely not worth that kind of wait and definitely not worth the $20 they are charging for a burger. I got the Steak and Cheese wrap and by the time it was served to us, the wrap was so soggy I couldn't pick it up and had to eat with fork and knife. My daughters meal was forgotten in the order, so I had to go to the counter. Waited approximately 25 minutes before someone came from the back, to the desk where there were about 5 other people waiting. Finally got his attention and let him know he forgot my daughter's meal. They did promptly put her chicken ceasar salad together and brought it out about 10 more minutes later. While we were finishing up, another customer who was also waiting for TWO HOURS FOR FRIES, came back to let them know that his $40 meal of only fries, was soggy and inedible. He was extremely upset The review would be 0 stars, if it weren't for the owner comping our meals because of the ridiculous 2 hour wait. Would have loved to say we'll try the place again. But we won't.

Great restaurants depend on great employees, and employees deserve a safe, comfortable work environment.
