Nice little place. I loved the decorations. There were not too many people when we arrived so we had our pick of seating. Silly me, I started speaking Spanish to the server and she didn't speak Spanish. The server shared she was new and I could kind of tell cause she really could not answer a lot of my questions. After reviewing the menu, and didn't see what I wanted or an à la cart section, I decided on chile relleno de queso and hubby got Fiesta Mi Tierra and a horchata. While we waited , we munched on the chips and salsa. The chips were tasty and had just enough salt. The salsa's were good and progressed in heat from mild to ouch. lol So, my husband hardly ever puts salt on anything. This time he kept reaching for the salt. I think he was salting the beans and rice. He said the proteins on his plate were very tasty. I had the same issue. The beans and rice had no flavor. The rice looked well cooked but no flavor. Tasty spot. One of my friends got me some tacos from here when they initially opened. Immediately thought they were some of the best tacos in Scranny and had to experience some of their other flavors. I had a long day at work and did not feel like making dinner so I decided to grab a classic plate of enchiladas for takeout. Never really had enchilada like this but they were some of my favorites. Very rich red sauce. Well-cooked and tender chicken that had the perfect bite every time. The cheese was light and profuse. I finished the entire meal in one sitting although realistically this could feed 2 ppl. Although they could be misconstrued as sidekicks, the rice and beans were the star of the show. I received absolutely terrible service! I went in for a take out order at 10:34 PM, on 7/30/26. The order was placed at 10:24 PM. I was told it would be 10 more minutes... No problem. I waited the full 10 minutes, and inquired about my order at 10:44 PM. I was then told it would be 15 more minutes! At that late hour? There wasn't anyone in the restaurant whatsoever! There isn't any reason it should take 35 minutes for takeout tacos! There's also definitely no reason for the deception on my wait time. Because I was lied to, I left disgusted without my order. Ridiculous. We ordered take out. When we got there to pick it up, it took 15 minutes for someone to even give me service. Then they handed me my order which included two large guacamoles but served us "no chips" with it. Huh? We asked for our money back but they refused. We left with the food and it was dry and tasteless. Beware. read more

Traveling on business from Detroit, thought I'd give this spot a try after reading Ryan K's review. When the housemate tortilla chips hit the table, I knew I was in the right place. I ordered the same thing, Enchiladas Roja. HUGE plate of food and everything cooked to perfection. The beans are the best I've tasted, the rice fluffy and light. The enchiladas stuffed with tender braised chicken, topped with cojita cheese and a bit of basil. I shouldn't have, but I ordered a Tres Leches Cake slice for dessert with coffee. Coffee was black and strong, the cake tender and lush. Amazing food, eclectic decor, great service. Great place. I will be back. read more

I've been here twice now with my husband. Both times we experienced excellent service, delicious food, and can't wait to come back. They give you three salsas and chips right away, the horchata is large and so good. We've had burritos, tostadas, and enchiladas. And we always walk out with a to-go box because the servings are generous. Can't say enough good about this place. We travel a lot so having a good Mexican restaurant on our route is something we definitely look forward to. read more

We have visited this establishment twice. From the outside it looks like a strip mall. Inside it is warm and welcoming, family friendly. The staff is attentive and very helpful. The star of the show is the food! The serving sizes were perfect even my husband who has a big appetite was satisfied. The taste and the quality of the food was phenomenal. I want to keep it all to myself! I had the Carne Asada Tacos which came three to an order. They were loaded and delish! I could only finish two. I also ordered a side of rice and beans, they're a must! My wife had the chicken quesadillas and couldn't finish the generous portion they gave her. She gave them two thumbs up.
