We ordered the following appetizers: pepper shooters, fried calamari and the pork belly. Salads come with every meal and a nice small charcuterie board is complimentary. My steak came out exactly as I ordered it and was tender, well seasoned and hot when I received it. The chicken was very tasty and always also served hot. I really can't say enough about he server. She was a young darker haired girl with a great personality and very confident when she read us the specials. She even made a few suggestions, all of which were very good. One aspect of our experience is worth noting for guests who rely on service animals. When making our reservation several days in advance, we informed the restaurant that I travel with a trained service dog and requested outdoor patio seating. We were advised by someone who may have been the owner that, due to his allergies, my service dog would not be permitted at the restaurant, including the patio area. My dog is a 35-pound Australian Labradoodle that is hypoallergenic and non-shedding. Because we were informed of the restaurant's position before our visit, we respected the decision and did not bring the dog to the restaurant. I share this information simply as a factual account of our experience so that others who rely on service animals can take it into consideration when making their plans.
