    Calamari
    Rich R.

Stopped in on a Thursday it was super crowded but the hostess told us no problem and found a table immediately. The servers were amazing. All had a great personality and truly cared to make certain we were happy. For an appetizer we had fried calamari. They were great. Not rubbery and light. I ordered a burger and my friend ordered a burger. Both of our burgers were great, cooked perfectly medium rare as we asked, but the fries were cold. The bill was wrong but was quickly corrected when I brought it to their attention. Inside is a large open area. It was loud but there were a lot of people. The bar was packed, bright and lively. The are only open a few days and sure the cold fries and bill mixup are just growing pains. I look forward to coming back, trying new menu items and giving more stars. Good luck!

The garlic parmesan wings were amazing, as well as the brick chicken and a delicious Hawley Burger.

Let's start with the obvious: this is supposedly a chop house. So how do you mess up the steak? I ordered medium and it came out rare, poorly cut, and completely flavorless. No crust, no seasoning, no care. It's impressive, honestly you have to actively try to make a steak this sad in a restaurant that literally has "chop house" in the name. Not worth the price for sure. The menu reads like someone threw darts at a culinary map. Sicilian kimchi? Why? The carpaccio had all the excitement of wet paper. The Caesar salad was wilted and bland. The onions and mushrooms were somehow both greasy and watery at the same time, an impressive feat of culinary confusion. The veal pasta was so aggressively lemony it tasted like someone dropped a bottle of Pledge into the pan. Then there was the whitefish special with chips that felt like a bizarre, half-hearted attempt to acknowledge the Jewish holiday. As a Jew, if that was the intention, it came across more like a punchline than a tribute. Presentation across the board looked rushed and sloppy. The real question is: who is the chef and what exactly are they doing back there? Because if your entire concept is a chop house and the steak is the worst part of the meal, something has gone very wrong. Gresham Chop House has great service, which is honestly the only reason this experience wasn't a complete disaster. But the kitchen needs a serious identity check, and maybe a salt shaker.

They have a big enough space, good food, and are reasonably priced. We had a gathering here previously, about 10 years ago when my Aunt passed. Its a nice place for large groups! We had the downstairs reserved and they set up 3 tables for the 30 of us. They have a limited menu for groups. 4 options. A turkey sandwich, a cheesesteak, fish and chips, and a salad. Most folks went with the cheesesteak and the fish and chips. I went with the fish and chips, myself. It was delicious! Pretty much a whole filet, and some curly style fries. Really tasty! Non alcoholic drinks were included, and brownie bites for dessert. It was only $20.00 a person! Had a great time visiting with everyone! The staff at Coras was great! They were on top of everything and had drinks out and food out all at the same time. Very coordinated effort which I appreciated! They also didn't rush us. Let us know that we had the room until we were done. Very awesome place and highly recommended!

Once again, we were fortunate to have Heaven as our server. She did a magnificent job and hopefully, you'll enjoy her pleasant servitude, soon. We started with vegetarian boneless wings. They came with a spicy/honey sauce and they were very good. You didn't need a knife and they were consumed within seconds. Our mains were, as follows: Northside (Fried eggplant, tomato, provolone cheese, balsamic vinaigrette), Bacon Cheeseburger, and Cheeseburger. The sweet potato, swirly, and waffle fry accompaniments were good, as well. Be it for lunch or dinner, Cora's Bistro will be a smart choice and thank you, Cora's, for being open on a Monday, when 3/4 of Hawley eateries were closed.

Lightly breaded and fried. Yummy. Did need salt but otherwise well made. Main was their burger. So good! Juicy and flavorful. The onion jam was delicious. Their wine selection is very good. Get the flight. It's a really good deal and you can try 3 different wines. Service was quick and food came out fast and hot. Others noted the prices a a little high but the food was really good.

We arrived 5pm Fri left 9am Sun. $600. Many added fees including a $70. Resort fee. We did get a $150 credit at Glass. But still paid add'l $125 and we had no alcohol. The steak was underwhelming. The small plates (for sharing) just kept adding up since we don't have the same tastes. There were so many leaks in the ceiling when it poured and all thru dinner people had to either move tables or be transferred inside. No apologies from staff who acted like this was normal. It was our anniversary and we made the best of it but will not return.
