It had a great experience at Lemongrass restaurant. We had reservations so we didn't wait at all. We shared the chicken satay. I ordered the roasted duck with orange tamarind which I think everyone should try . It was delicious, packed of flavor. The asparagus were tasty too. My lady bug had the Pangang curry with short rib and it looked amazing

Easily the best Calimari I've ever had. So good. The service was great. I can't rememeber the servers name but she was the perfect blend of entertaining, attentive, and knew when to give us time to have conversation (business dinner). The setting was comfortable. The food was all delicious.

Had a delicious Monday night dinner at Lemon Grass. They are extremely accommodating of a large party. We had a private dining room and restroom for our 20 person party. We started with calamari, vegan dumplings, spring rolls, and fried cauliflower. I had the Filet with Massaman as an entree and the warm chocolate cake for dessert. Everything on the menu is amazing, you can't go wrong!

Great food good service I definitely recommend this restaurant every thing was excellent

The staff were all friendly. The restaurant was beautiful. Clean environment. Street parking. They had a decent selection of food and beverage items. The food was a nice Thai inspired or Thai fusion restaurant.

Seated a large party for business trip, fast and attentive service. Food phenomenal! Oysters fresh, deserts perfectly crafted. Always can count on a great time here.

Lemongrass is one of the best modern Thai restaurants in New York. Great foods, excellent service and the best ambience in Syracuse. Highly recommended.

This was my second time here, and I came for Downtown Dining Week. Personally, I think it's one of the best spots downtown; however, it's on the pricey side. I ordered the lobster dip as my appetizer, the salad with peanut dressing, and the gra pow with shrimp. I asked for my main dish with a few more long peppers. In my opinion, it could have been a bit spicier. Butttttt...I learned last year when I ordered my green curry extra spicy that they do not play!!! There was an unbelievable amount of long hots and then chili peppers on top. I think I drank probably 2 gallons of water (see picture for evidence--I rarely say anything is too spicy). My friend and I shared the raspberry tart for dessert. It's not included, but the desserts here are truly spectacular. Service is always top notch and the vibe is upscale, yet casual.

I found myself at Lemon Grass during my weekend in Syracuse visiting some of my college friends. I haven't been to Syracuse since 2017, and am not familiar with the food scene in the city. That being said, I let my friends have free reign as to where to go to eat - and they suggested here since it's a favorite spot of theirs. Lemon Grass is located in downtown Syracuse, among a number of other businesses in the area. The restaurant was pretty busy when we arrived, and from what I gathered from initial impressions this space attracted both bar patrons and diners. The restaurant is large - there's a spacious front room what contains the bar and some tables and it then gives way to another room in the back with more tables (this is where we were seated). The back room had a partition set up to accommodate a private party - but even with this it was ultra roomy (I think one of my friends said the restaurant inconspicuously takes up the length of the block it's on). The decor was somewhat modern with Earth tones, colored accents on the wall, and mellow live music playing. Even with this, the space wasn't warm - I think it had to do with the sheer size of the space, it just didn't land well for me. The menu mainly contained Thai dishes, though there was also a small selection of American fare as well. There were a *lot* of specials, but our server did an amazing job remembering them and had no problem repeating items or answering any questions we had. The majority of the dishes were flavor combinations that you paired with a protein of your choice with an emphasis on different curries. We started with a drink - they have a full bar selection as well as some seasonal cocktails. I had a ginger-based cocktail which had good flavor. Before mains, we decided to start with some apps: spring rolls and shrimp dumplings. Both were good - lots of flavor and paired with tasty sauces. For my main I decided to get the Gra Pow which was a chili and garlic based dish which I decided to pair with shrimp. The dish was really tasty - it was slightly spicy, loaded with flavor, and the shrimp were large. Service was great, food came out at a good pace and our server was really friendly. Overall, I enjoyed my experience at Lemon Grass - the food was good as well as the service. I would definitely be open to returning if I was ever in the area again.

The staff was friendly and professional. Waitstaff (not our waiter) came across the restaurant to remove no longer needed dishes. The bus-man had a keen eye and continuously returned to full our water glasses. The waiter gave us time to read the menu and have conversation and then come back with info on the specials. The food was well prepared and tasty, although the paneer cubes were entirely too large. I ate the specials red very with fish lobster and scallop topped with fried egg noodles. The chocolate can can for dessert was creative and tasty too. The cocktails had creative names and flavor combinations. The ambiance is nice. It was a large restaurant without feeling overwhelming. The bar in the from section makes a warm invitation. My colleagues agree that this is a wonderful restaurant, and I would be happy to return again when I am in town.

Who could resist getting the slipper dessert? I know I couldn't.

So glad that we made reservations for New Year's Eve at Lemon Grass. We arrived a few minutes early and only waited about four minutes before our table was ready. I haven't been here since they moved and wow, it is beautiful! I can't believe how large the restaurant is. We had a wonderful table in the back and we could actually hear each other Talk . We had Outstanding service by Rachel our wait staff. The food was 10 out of 10. My granddaughter who has not eaten Thai food before was very happy with her braised short ribs with a side of mashed potatoes. She also thoroughly enjoyed her strawberry sundae for dessert which had pieces of peanut brittle in it. I ordered red and yellow curry with chicken and seafood, and it arrived with lobster tails . The curry was simply delicious with just enough spice, and the dish was served with rice noodles on the bottom and fried rice noodles on the top. My husband had a tofu dish with curry that had enough heat for him, and he loved it One of the highlights of the dinner was my slipper dessert, which looks like a high heeled shoe made of some kind of chocolate a cookie with the foot plate sitting on a rice crispy treat served with cookies and a little pot of creamy deliciousness. When you get to the heel, it is filled with mousse. A beautiful and delicious dessert. And I found a parking spot not far from the restaurant making it a perfect night. Definitely put this on my list of favorite restaurants.

Another outstanding meal at my favorite syracuse restaurant…read more Enjoyed some time this Friday with special people as we sat and enjoyed an exquisite dining out. I was the only returning patron, the others much enjoyed their first time here. Walking through the front door you're instantly hit with a wonderful smell of food cooking over an open fire. Got a terrific table to look out the window and enjoyed a nice evening view. Took full advantage of every food meal course available. Started out with their evening appetizer of homemade bread with cinnamon butter. Each of us got our own dinner choice along with small plates to start. The two small plates were green lentil salad and ember roasted carrots. Both of them with their unique flavor and style. The green lentil salad featured heirlooms. The ember roasted carrots featured labrieth, doqqa, and maple syrup. Keep in mind everything here comes from local farms and local breweries and distilleries. Big fan of supporting the state and local community. Fantastic! They feature only a few main entrées, tonight's included halibut, steak, chicken, and sea Island peas with jasmine rice. Knowing how well seasoned their steaks are, I went with a filet mignon 10 ounce. Probably a little more than I should've gotten, but I very rarely eat steak and know how well and good they are here. Ordered the steak medium to medium rare and that's exactly how it came out. Mouth watering delicious. Along with the steak includes mashed potatoes, chimichurri, kale, and. crème fraiche. Every bite was outstanding. One of us got ice cream for dessert which she said was very good. The ice cream was made right there at the restaurant. We kicked off the dinner with a rum cocktail and a tequila cocktail. All spirits locally sourced. If you haven't tried it here yet you should. You will not be disappointed.

I had a nice evening at Eden. Parking wasn't bad. Reservations are a must as it is rather small…read moreinside. We were promptly seated and ordered glasses of wine while perusing the menu, which is on the smaller side. That usually means everything on it is rather good, so we had high expectations. We started with the Mushroom Toast, Ember Roasted Carrots, and Beef Tartar. I'll start with the bad and finish with the good. The Ember Roasted Carrots were a complete miss. They were trying to go for a middle-eastern flavor, with each ingredient contrasting, while the carrot served as the centerpiece to flavor. I found this to be INCREDIBLY bland. The carrots were not salted enough during roasting and lacked enough char. They dish also needed more labneh than it was served with. It literally just tasted like carrots and yoghurt. Honestly, if I could only give one critique it would be to have used more salt, but this dish was a real disappointment. The Beef Tartar suffered from a similar issue. It was bland. Not enough salt was used. It unfortunately tastes like flat beef. I overheard the bartender talking to another couple and he told them they really want to highlight the ingredients. The idea is purity or something like that. And that's well and good, but you still need to season beef tartar. I don't think this is necessarily a poor execution of the dish(es) rather this is more in line with the philosophy of the kitchen, and that's fine. It's just not for me. And now for the good. The Mushroom Toast was great. It had all the things I had wanted. Fat, salt, umami, freshness. This was a good dish and I would get this again. As for the entrees, my husband and I ordered the Cappelletti and the NY Strip. The Cappelleti was the strongest dish of the night. The flavors were layered and intentional. This was a great dish and I1000% would get it again. My husband ordered the NY Strip along with bone marrow. It was cooked to perfection. Cooking it over a wood fire gave it a great char and almost Smokey flavor. It was very flavorful. The chimichurri made the steak feel lighter than it actually was. My husband loved it and I loved having a bite or two of everything together. This was a complete dish and I'd highly recommend it. The only knock I could give it is the bone marrow. There was a lack of volume in it which is probably due to being cooked over a wood fire. Parts of the bones were also over roasted. I'd skip this the next time and get the foie gras pate. Lastly, for desert we were disappointed that we could not try the rice pudding as they were out of it (we will try it the next time if available). We did however order the Flourless Chocolate Torte to share. It was made perfectly. It was rich and decadent but remained light. It was almost like a mousse, but not quite. We loved it. Overall, the had a great time. There were several highlights and I think they make up for the a couple of the earlier dishes. I'd like to see what else they have to offer when they change their menu.

TPOH nailed it: "Speaking of hearing, I can't take too much loud music I mean I like to play it, but I sure don't like the racket" I'm starting here, with the vibe, which sets the scene, dig? Decor-wise, it's luxe lounge, and is a welcome surprise in the Salt City. We use Resy, and...either the hostess misheard our party size, didn't really care, didn't really doublecheck to read our actual reservation, or whatever man, that's just your opinion. So, the backroom might have been a bit better suited for us olds, we were ushered into the front room. Not the window, but pretty darn close. Again, fun for people watching, inside and out. But damn it kids, if you have a DJ, I want to talk to Sir Vibes A Lot and ask them how they think thumping house music actually aids in digestion? Maybe I unconsciously started chewing to the unrelenting 4/4 beat, anything's possible. Now onto the menu, and back to the identity crisis. Like a lot of places, the York has a broad spectrum of offerings. Burger. Nashville Hot. Multiple pasta options. Sure, sure, sure. The porkchop with kimchi fried rice was the clear winner, hands down. The chicken, mashed and greens took second place (but I'll give ya a pro tip chef: the longer you cook your greens, the better they are). The salmon was a distant third because everything bagel seasoning is a lot after a while, and the veg was uninspired. Our TL:DR recommendation is come for cocktails and poutine. The poutine satisfied by itself. Our server was great- thanks, Destiny!
