    Summer rolls
    Ophelia M.

I had been on the go all day traveling from Milwaukee to Syracuse, checked into my hotel, and needed dinner while catching up on work in my room. Enter Thai Love NY. Thankfully, this gem of a spot allows pickup orders right through the Yelp app. I ordered pad thai with tofu for the protein as well as an order of their fresh summer rolls. The summer rolls alone could have been a whole meal. Fresh and fabulous with both a peanut and a sweet and sour style dipping sauce--they were an absolute delight. I preferred the peanut sauce which paired perfectly with the rolls. The pad thai with tofu was pitch perfect. I thoroughly enjoyed every bite. The preparation was speedy and packed up perfectly to ensure no spillage. Wonderful! Get to it! (or order takeout from it!)

    Extra spicy papaya salad

I ordered take out from here and I'm glad I did. The papaya salad was very flavorful but way too spicy for me and I usually can handle extra spicy. The Thai chicken wings & pad thai also didn't disappoint. This place will definitely be where I go when I crave Thai food.

Just when I thought Thai cuisine couldn't get any better...it just did! I've driven past Thai Love NY multiple times but have never had the chance to actually stop in and check them out. Today, I did, and I can kick myself for taking so long to do so. The restaurant is very cozy & welcoming. The customer service was absolutely wonderful!! There are plenty of menu options to choose from ranging from mild to hot, savory to sweet. I was simply blown away by the amazing savory and sweet flavor profiles that graced our table. We ordered a few different menu items because we found it impossible to just order one item each. My favorite was their Thai fried rice, which didn't make it to the photo stage. I took one bite, and the rest was history. To say these dishes were just good would be a huge understatement. They were phenomenal! Serving sizes here are HUGE and are definitely sharable if you're dining with family or friends and looking to try a few different dishes (this is the route we took). It was a pleasure dining here, and I look forward to trying other menu items in the future.

A coworker named Thai Love NY as their favorite Thai food in the area and I can see why! They were especially accommodating for a 10 person group and allowed separate checks. Granted, we sat down at 4:30. The food is delicious and the portions are HUGE! Don't forget the Thai Iced Tea!

Wow the food is amazing! So much flavor. I did ask for spicy pad thai and there was some heat but not as much as I'd like. They were short staffed so service was a bit slow but they were perfectly friendly. There is a nice ambiance inside with all the Thai decor. Very clean. The veggie peanut noodles were surprisingly delicious, no meat needed. The calamari was crisp and sauce was flavorful. Decent sized portions for the price.

There was one server who was taking care of everything and did an amazing job. She was seating people, taking orders, serving food, bussing tables and ringing people out when they paid. I ordered the lunch special.. appetizer, entree. I ordered the Thai dumplings, Green Curry with chicken and Coconut Flan. The dumplings were homemade but tasted a bit bland. The Green Curry was delicious and very flavorful, the vegetables and chicken cooked perfectly. I actually finished it with my spoon so I could eat every last drop. The flan was very small but sweet and excellent and a perfect end to the meal. I don't think I would get the special again...it was an okay lunch portion but I enjoy getting a larger entree to have leftovers for another day. I will definitely be going back and trying more of their dishes.

I prefer dining out during lunch hours, I feel you can get a better sense of an establishment when things are calmer. This is exactly what I experienced at Thai Flavor. A very calm and relaxing environment with only one other table being occupied at the time, service was spectacular! I had no clue what to order upon arrival, but I am a huge fan of Thai fried rice, so I was extremely happy to see that it was listed as a part of their lunch special. It did not disappoint! The fried rice was flavorful and "fresh." It didn't taste greasy or have a heavily salted taste profile. I thoroughly enjoyed it. The appetizers were very tasty as well. We ordered spring rolls, which were perfectly fried and chicken satay. The peanut butter sauce that was served with this chicken satay was a bit different than I was am used to. It had more of a natural PB flavor profile, not a deal breaker by any means. I'm so glad I finally dined at Thai Flavor and will definitely return to enjoy their amazingly priced lunch special again soon.

The restaurant itself was such a large space with nice seating. Service throughout the meal was good but a bit slower. For appetizers, we had plates laid out for us to grab from. The eggplant items and spring roll I think were the best. We all got a large plate of salad which felt very generic with no Thai flavors. For my main, I chose the chicken in red curry. The curry was good, a bit mild though. The chicken itself was a little bit dryer than I was hoping for but flavor was good. I do also wish they had more veggies in the dish as well but the ones that were in there were well cooked. It would have been nice if there was more eggplant and hopefully also some bamboo shoots as well. Finally, for dessert I had the warm chocolate cake. The cake was tasty - basically just a chocolate lava cake. Additionally the ice cream it came with was a nice addition. All in all, a fine meal option in the area.
