Exceptional service and a total win for Spring Break! "We visited Legoland Discovery Center in Phoenix last Wednesday March 18for Spring Break, and it was easily the highlight of our week. The kids had an absolute blast, but what truly stood out to me was the flow of the attractions and the incredible staff. The customer service went well beyond any typical ranking--every crew member we interacted with was amazing. It's clear their model is centered on making sure every child has a priority experience. They went above and beyond to engage with the kids and make them feel special. Highly recommend for an stress-free, high-fun family day!"

My son and I did a trip out to Tucson and Phoenix during spring break. Since we are LLCA pass holders, we figured why not visit this discovery center. We had only visited once discovery center (Toronto), and don't have much experience with them. Like most they it is located in a mall. I don't mind this as there is ample parking. We arrived just before opening and were greeted as soon as they opened. They had the Ferrari build event going on, we were kind of bummed they were out of the lanyards, but my son could at least participate in the event and received his pop badge. There isn't a whole lot to do, but there are a few rides. It's an easy way to spend an hour, I'd say maximum 2 hours. I appreciated that there was a little cafe with tables and chairs so I could sit for a bit while my son explored. Don't worry, he's old enough. The staff while not as upbeat as most at LLCA, we found them mostly friendly. We brought pop badges from CA to trade and everyone my son offered to trade with was so excited. Overall it was a nice way to spend a some time in air conditioning. We also checked out SeaLife and were thoroughly impressed.

I got to tag along with my grandsons and I had a real good time. Rode a couple rides, played a few games, worked on my ninja skills and then watched a few movies. And then I played with Lego's. All packed in a couple of hours. The place is well organized and lit well. The floors and restrooms were clean...nice. The staff were very nice and the ones interacting with the kiddos were great. If you have to be indoors your time is well spent here. Last words...air conditioning.

All attractions were open and running. Our kids had a great time and easily spent a few hours. Everything was clean and well kept. Got to watch the 4D Lego show that had water and wind effects. There is a little laser maze, a Lego virtual experience that does cost an extra seven dollars. Race tracks, play area. We would definitely return.

Can't read my, can't read my No, he can't read my Lego face... Honestly didn't know what to expect from this place. The Legoland in CA is a theme park and this is more like a small activity center with a few rides. Located inside Arizona Mills you'd probably assume it's a big Lego store from the outside. It was great for our toddlers, they got on rides, had an indoor playground, built Lego cars, watched a Lego short film and tested their Lego Ninja skills. It's a good way to beat the AZ heat indoors. We bought a package that included the SEA LIFE Arizona Aquarium next door. The staff was very helpful in pointing out the package, that saves you a bit on both. Plenty of parking around Arizona Mills and right by the entrance. Design your Lego face along with your personalized character when you enter. You can take photos along the way and use a QR code to see the photos. You finish by going thru the store, so many options hold onto your wallets. All in all nice place to give the kids a break.

Suggest buying the package deal get the aquarium with LEGOland. We enjoyed both! Lego land was kept nice and clean, only complaint I'm sure it's hard to keep it together with all the kids, the car Lego building area was a bit rough, hard to find all the right legos to build a car or enough right parts.. the rides was fun and the theater 4d experience. Staff friendly plenty of activities and to dos for kiddos to keep them entertained and going. They have a small snack area nothing to crazy there I felt the need to buy but at least they have the option.

My grandkids age 8 and 5 1/2 loved the virtual reality, the rides and all the experiences. Both would come back in a heart beat. The staff is very friendly and helpful. There is plenty of room and seating. The restrooms are great too!!

Came for my son's 6th birthday. Alex was amazing and helped us switch ticket days for us. This allowed both of my son's best friends to come for his birthday. Upon arrival, my son also got a birthday crown, keychain and sticker. Their 4D movies were broken which was sad but the kids had a blast doing everything else. The food court area also had a good variety of food and the prices weren't outrageously priced which was super nice. The bathrooms had fun Lego figures on the doors and a sink for small children. They have two rides.... One that you pedal and it goes higher. The other is a video game type ride. They have plenty stations with Legos for creativity and fun! Kids want to come back again.

If you've taken your little one(s) to LEGOLAND in Carlsbad, you know that it's great for the little ones, but not so great for the little, little ones if you know what I mean. LEGOLAND has a lot of rides for the bigger kids but is very limited on rides and activities for the toddlers. LEGOLAND Discovery Center in Arizona Mills is perfect for tots that aren't quite tall enough for most amusement park rides. It's a small facility right in the mall and is very interactive for LEGO lovers. We began our visit on the interactive Kingdom Quest ride. You ride along in a little cave shooting characters to save the princess. After the ride, we enjoyed the play areas where kids can climb and go down slides. Of course there are areas where kids get to create things with LEGOS. There was an area to build race cars and have them go down the racetrack against cars built by other kids. My favorite has got to be the little LEGO pool that is basically a huge tub full of LEGO pieces. My son actually got in it and pretended to swim. So what happens with all of the LEGO pieces that get strewn around the facility? Well, there was an employee, who very diligently and patiently went around, sweeping up the LEGO pieces off the ground. Phew! Bless her heart. There's a little snack shop in the back and of course LEGOLAND wouldn't be complete without a gift shop. There are cute LEGO lunchboxes available as an option to get to have your food served in. We'll be back so the kiddos can have more interactive fun the next times we're in the Phoenix area.

Got 40% Off for Summer and decided to check this place out with my toddler. We intended to go to Legoland in San Diego earlier this year, but we didn't make it. Parking was a little far, as the lot was busy, and in the Summer, walking across the asphalt is brutal. Luckily there are some trees there to provide some shade! Walked right in, scanned our barcodes, and were advised one of the rides was down due to employees on lunch, but would be back up within the hour. We followed the prompts and began to explore. The play land was fun for my little guy and the 4D movie was fun for all of us and included some sprinkles of rain and wind for effects. The rides were good in quality and one of them reminded me of the Super Mario ride at Universal Studios...only shorter. There were places all over to create your Lego masterpieces, and even race them down a few tracks. We checked out the dance room, but were bored a little too quickly. Overall, this place was fun at the 40% Off Discounted Rate, but I probably wouldn't pay full price. If there was a Monthly Membership that was reasonable, and we lived nearby, I would consider it for sure.

    Random shot but cookout anyone?

Absolutely LOVED IT!! I'm nothing but a big kid at heart and had a blast looking at the various Lego displays and of course having so many sets to get in front of me was incredibly dangerous!! I was visiting from out of town and will be back for sure! Not sure why the little cookout brings me so much joy, but it sure does!

This probably breaks Yelp rules but I think the fair thing to do is update with my afterthoughts rather than rewrite or edit my initial review. It's been 2 days since my visit to Legoland. And I have since decided my experience wasn't as great as I initially felt. First, there are many many Lego bricks being touched, yet, I didn't see a single hand sanitizer station. Nowadays, kids build with kits. All Lego bricks were single in tubs which is not what my kids prefer so they didn't want to build things. They ended up spending all of their time in the play place and the 2 rides. Yet, the rides are definitely geared for younger kids. But after thinking back on the rides and the play place I have realized there is really nothing for a tween or teen to do in Legoland other than the movies and creative brick building from a tub. This location is very small by 10:30am it was packed and literally difficult to move about. With so many people in the cramped space it's difficult to move about and difficult to get to the rides. We were in line for the rides for 45 minutes to an hour. Also, the gift shop is only Lego kits, Lego figurines and a few Lego plushies. There are no t-shirts or magnets - like small things that just say Legoland on them that aren't building items. Just some thoughts to perhaps help Legoland AZ to improve. I do believe this place has potential.

Anyone have luck with pop badges at this location?

Can we use our Elite Legoland CA passes to obtain free entrance to this Discovery Center and Sea Life?

I have 10 yo boy and 6 yo girl, would they place suitable/fun for them? Thank you!

If they enjoy building with legos they should have fun. Do the movie.

Has anyone been to the second Tuesday adult event?

I have an eleven year old and were taking a trip to phoenix. After we go to the water park we want to know what she would like. She loves thrills, but hates standing around. we try to keep it even for our 3 year old should I do this?

What day of the week is best to visit?

Midweek is less busy but my boys prefer the weekends when it's full of kids to play with.

The rooms are hard to complete (at least for us lol) and some of the rooms required more physical ability. There are employees there to help you as requested, which helps if you get stuck on what you're supposed to do. The rooms are well put together, theme-wise, which adds to the experience of the challenges. There were a lot of people there, which meant a long waiting time. I feel as though we did more waiting than we did inside the rooms. Although, it didn't help that several rooms broke or weren't functioning correctly throughout the night. There's also a bar in the back where you can grab drinks and food, if you so choose. I would recommend waiting until after the experience since you have a 2 hour time limit. Overall, Bam Kazam is a unique activity to get a group of friends or family together for a night of fun and challenges! I would definitely go back again, but perhaps on a weekday or a time that would be less busy.
