I just want to announce that this review will be in large part to the bad experience the employees and manager in charge provided. They all stole one star from you Leo & Luca. This business has employees who have atrocious customer service skills. I mean worst of the worst. Anthony Bennett in the NBA bad. The 3 workers were so unprofessional that Jesse Eisenberg playing Mark Zuckerberg in "The Social Network" would be jealous. I mean one of the workers had what appeared to be a hickey on her neck. Come on, at a children's party when that's your target crowd. Bad choice #1. Then, while people came in I get the policy is either socks or shoe covers, but gahlee at least be nice about it. You'd think we were drug addicts intruding someone's home the way were treated when we had our shoes on near the play area. Bad choice #2. The entire time if you happened to catch an employee looking it'd be this very very nasty stare like you just stole their prom date. I couldn't believe it. Bad choice #3. To top it off they basically kicked is out starting at 3:50pm when the party ended at 4pm. Look, ladies, I get that you want to go home but its not nice to kick people out while their still TRYING to have a good time. Some other stuff happened too, like the coffee they provided tasted like a Holiday Inn coffee pot coffee over ice. Oh yeah and then they were cleaning and throwing out the children's drawings because they could not spend one minute past 4pm there. I could go on and on but i rather not cus as im writing this im realizing these ladies are taking up too much of my time and energy. I hope ownership actually takes feedback into consideration and focuses on hiring the appropriate people or retraining these individuals. read more

Another great indoor spot for toddlers & kids! Trinity the staff member was very friendly! Super clean and my 13 Month old had a great time there were a lot of fun toys and I love that majority of them were wooden! Very well kept area and I will definitely be back. read more

Clean, adorable, and well organized indoor play center for little ones! Brought my almost 15 month old here, he loved it! They have a great variety of toys. Love that they have a room for crafting, an infant room, a room to nurse in. Bathrooms are super clean as well. And they have coffee/ tea options for parents to buy! Staff was friendly and check in was super easy. Easy to find/well marked and plenty of parking. Pricing is the same as other similar places to this in the phx area. I cannot express how much we still love Leo & Luca! From their gorgeous design, their attention to detail regarding utilizing clean sanitation products, and most importantly their staff! Jessica H ,(manager) Thank you for your response. However, I do want to address the statement that Val was subjected to "cursing and threats" from one of our party guests. I was the person who spoke with Val at the end of the party, and at no point did I threaten her. I approached her because I was frustrated with how our guests had been treated throughout the event and wanted to understand why she had been rolling her eyes, giving attitude, and making so many people feel uncomfortable. Telling someone they were rude and disrespectful is not a threat. I understand wanting to stand behind your employee, but that does not change the experience we had. The behavior I described in my review was witnessed by multiple guests, and unfortunately it was the main topic of conversation throughout the party. My review was never about Val's appearance or making a personal attack. It was about customer service and the way our family and guests were treated during an event we paid for. I left honest feedback based on what I experienced. I am glad to hear that many families have had positive experiences with Val. The customer service here is the worst I've dealt with- it's crazy that they cater to children. The reviews on Google saying similar stories are true! Was my first time going so before heading over on 3/12 late afternoon- I called to confirm pricing, if I needed a reservation for open play, that I was heading over. The person who answered the phone didn't sound like a happy individual but I wanted to take my child to a new place so I said whatever I'll try it. After taking the almost 30 min drive due to traffic, when I arrived there was a sign saying it was closed due to an event. Why couldn't the woman who gave me the info over the phone tell me this? If they knew they were closed she should have said something. People with kids will understand the major inconvenience especially taking into account your child being disappointed, everything it takes to even get them out of the house. What's worse is when I called asking why couldn't they tell me it was closed when I call that in the future a parent would want to know that, the woman was so apathetic, could not care less. I'll never try this place again! I can't believe they have an individual like that working around children. At least they could have acted sympathetic and apologized. Beautiful, clean, and thoughtfully decorated play space! The toys were so intentionally picked out and it is such a special spot. It was our first time today and we really enjoyed the amount of things to play with, as well as the arts & crafts area. My only "complaint" would be the music. I asked the woman politely working if she could turn it down a bit, because it was pretty loud and overstimulating. I think chill, acoustic "coffee house" music would suit the place better and make for a more relaxing atmosphere but that's my personal opinion. read more

Recently joined a family party in which multiple of us attending the party felt uncomfortable by one of the employees named "Val". In which the reviews can be read below. Now 2 weeks later, in which "Jessica" the marketing manager replied to my in laws reviews, i'm disappointed by the response. Rather than acknowledging that multiple guests had a similar experience, the response seemed focused on defending the employee. One of our complaints was "val" had a visible hickey on her neck & "jessica's" response to that is "employees appearance are unrelated to the quality of service" but we're at a CHILDRENS PLACE??? The concerns raised in the previous reviews were not coming from just one upset individual, it was several people who attended. I understand that Val may have received positive reviews in the past, but that does not change what many of us witnessed that day. read more

We recently visited Leo & Luca and unfortunately had a disappointing experience with the manager, Valeria. She was very unfriendly and not pleasant to be around. Throughout our visit, she made us and others feel unwelcome rather than valued customers. It was also noticeable that she appeared to be discussing guests with other employees, which created an uncomfortable atmosphere. Professionalism and customer service are especially important during visits, and sadly that was not our experience. Leo&Luca's is quite adorable! The space is clean, not overcrowded, and has an attached coffee bar where you can grab a mocha to drink while your child explores. We've been to several event days, including the free new parent meetups (they brought in a Musicology teacher for one of them and the kids had a blast!) and a Music&Me session that was included with drop-in play a different day. The staff are extremely friendly and chill. Overall good vibes. We experienced Jordan's Corner for the first time at a birthday party last week, and I feel like whereas Jordan's Corner has more physical-type activities for kids (tires with poles for kids to jump on, slides, 3 year olds running around screaming), Leo&Luca's is more designed around calm, creative exploration-based play. The infant nook and changing table area are very cute and well-done, with lotions and diaper cream provided, along with a nursing chair for the youngest babies. I find myself checking monthly to see which upcoming events look up. Can't wait to see what toys Zoe likes playing with as she gets older! read more

We picked Leo and Luca to host our daughter's Birthday party they went above and beyond to prepare for the event and even helped during and cleanup. It was so nice! The front staff would rather be getting a root canal than checking in customers, that's how dreadful of a task it seemed to be to her. There was a clique of peach color shirt employees sitting with a customer gossiping the entire play session. The customer was screaming out JESSICA to her child apparently doing the TikTok trend to which 1 of the employees said shh..Jessica, just walked in and she'll think you're talking about her, to which the customer said "oh the marketing girl", and continued to degrade her anyway. THIS IS HOW LOUDLY they were gossiping, I can hear the conversation on the other side of the room. Loud and obnoxious, no situational awareness at all..it was like mean girls. The customer then began an insensitive racially charged conversation...both employees said WHAT! As if equally shocked at what she just said, and she disgustingly repeated it...I left the play session early after her loud,disgusting rant...granted, you can't control how customers conduct themselves, but employees gossiping with this haughty woman wasn't a good look for a business that caters to kids & fun. My child must be equally allergic to this place because a raised rash developed on both arms no sooner than we left the place...I'm sure it was the ball pit that needed a good sanitizing because every infant there had the white balls in their mouths. The staff members were so interactive with my kids...read books, showed them the sensory bins, sat and talked with them and were genuinely invested in the kids having a good time. Emily took great care of my two kids during our most recent visit, even though my 20 month old was extremely clingy and fussy (not our best work haha). The establishment is always extremely clean, the craft room is full of awesome paints and coloring supplies, and there is a wide range of toys that are all of good quality. The owners are so nice and everyone is extremely good with the kids! Highly recommend. read more

We LOVE this spot! Our girls love the play space and everything that they can get their hands on. There is a room that allows them to do arts and crafts/coloring and sometimes sensory play. The main play space is awesome and has so much for kiddos to get into. Leo and Luca is a wonderful community and the staff is always so welcoming. This is by far our favorite spot. Inga always greets us with a warm smile and goes above and beyond to ensure both parent and child have a great experience. Alison and Samantha are also fantastic! Every team member I've encountered has been friendly, kind, and helpful, and extremely attentive to the kiddos. My three year old goes to pre-K full time but on the days his school is closed, I can come in and work in the café while he plays. It's been a lifesaver! They do a great job of keeping the facility clean, and I love all their food and beverage options. So convenient! Such a cute, fun, clean and aesthetically pleasing place!! I love how there are multiple employees walking around ensuring that the kids are having fun, have everything they need along with being an extra set of eyes with the parents to ensure the kids safety! There are SO many fun activity areas, including an arts and crafts corner PLUS a coffee booth that sells coffee and yummy treats for both the parents and the kids.
