What a fun experience! If you've ever had the urge to randomly smash something whether in frustration or just to hear the sound it would make this is the place to do it. You will be in safety gear & be in a room designed for smashing fun so that you won't ruin anything in your own home and best of all you do not need to sweep it all up afterward. It is nice that you get to pick a crate from their hallway of objects you'd like to smash, it adds a little customization to the experience along with any add on items you can buy. I ended up with a plate in my crate & had a blast throwing it at the wall like a frisbee and watching it shatter into a bunch of tiny pieces. We also had a computer monitor that had been placed in our room to smash with a cute welcoming message for us! My family & I had a great time, and the confetti filled bottles are so neat to see shatter because the confetti makes a pop of color. This can be pretty therapeutic if you need it. They had some bigger items that looked fun to break as well like a fax machine and old radios. This is a spot I know we will end up booking again sometime in the future with a bigger group of people. I got my pass from Groupon for a 30 min smash session. You get one crate of various breakables. Beer bottles, wine glasses, China plates, etc. you can add on additional items for various costs. My crate was just enough for me though. You get a 10 min conversation about the dos and don'ts. If you wear pants like I did, you have the option of a jacket only or you can wear a full size jumpsuit. Plastic gloves then cloth gloves and you're ready! The experience was gifted to me & (although I didn't pay), it was worth it!! Lol. I had the confetti bomb added & midway through, my friend added a fax machine for me to smash. Wish I knew you could bring 1crate of your own smashables for FREE (long as they pass their inspection for dangerous fluids/chemicals). Connected my music to their Bluetooth speaker and SMASHED away! Shed much needed stress & frustration. Only thing is we paid for the polaroid photo but they forgot to take it but we're willing to return the price for the pic back to my friend. Honestly I had higher expectations based on reviews and how the website described how they host "events." When we got there, we were taken to a make shift "event" room which seemed like their employee break room and we sat there for 25 minutes with no information on what was happening. I had to go ask the front what the plan was, if we were doing food first or going into the Smashroom. They told us it was up to us, but our pizza was on the way. We decided to start in the smashroom because we had already wasted 25 minutes of our time. The Smashroom itself was fun! However I expected a couple bigger ideas to be provided since we were there for an event. And the room was too all small to safely fit all 6 people in my party. After we finished in there, we went back to our room for pizza. The website description said it was going to be Rays pizza, however we got Pizza Hut... which was disgusting. If I had known Rays wouldn't have been provided (which should have been disclosed beforehand) I would have saved my money. For what we spent (over $300) on this, my party and I were disappointed. I would not recommend this place for an event, but I would if the group size was smaller than 5 and just strictly breaking thing. read more

Easy to find in strip mall. Easy procedure and smooth intake. They have different options; we went with the basic. It was one crate worth of breakables for 30 minutes. I thought it was all you can break in 30 minutes. Nope. Its one crate and you have 30 minutes max. My son ended up grabbing another crate without knowing there was an extra charge. This is such a great concept!!! We discovered ahead of time that we can bring extra stuff to smash (within reason - they clean it up). They include a crate of breakable stuff in the cost. We brought some extra items that we bought at the Goodwill, stuff that was junk, and Goodwill is a good place to find junk that should be trashed and smashed. If you want to avoid seeking stuff out at multiple Goodwills, as we did, you can purchase extra stuff at this smash place!! They have a LOT of variety that they offer up for smashing, including sanitized TOILETS!! Those would probably be a blast to smash!! Never would we have been able to experience this experience without this new concept (they have been open for three years, but we more recently discovered it). It was CRAZY fun!! Our teen smashed a small printer (must remove the ink first). It was interesting to see the inside of a smashed printer. He also smashed a small computer screen and, it too, was very interesting to see the inside layers once smashed. The biggest winner to smash was a mirror that we brought!! It was by far our favorite smashable! You will get bottles and other glass items in your crate. We added extra bottles to our crate!! You can throw the bottles (or whatever) against the cement wall, hang them on the hanger above the table and swing at them, place them on the table a swing a bat at them, or smash them on the table! The glass bottles were a favorite too!! I will say that the rooms are somewhat small considering people are swinging bats and crow bars around! Be careful! LOL!! My teen HATES going to Goodwill!!! But suddenly, he is excited to go to Goodwill to find some fun smashable items!! We will go on some treasure hunts to find the perfect smash items!! We will DEFINITELY go back again!! read more

Wow! You gotta try this place if you live in Phoenix! We made a reservation and prepaid for our visit. Staff is super friendly and explained everything well. You get a jumper, boots, gloves and a mask. There are plenty of add ons if you want to smash and crash something other than what's provided in your personal crate. You start out in a warm up room, and we demolished the stove! When we got to our room we enjoyed the confetti bottles, picture frames and plates. Regular beer bottles aren't as fun as the denser items, so we added on a monitor which gave us a good workout. Various weapons are provided in the room. So you can swing, throw and smash to your hearts delight. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and took about an hour total for 2 people. Went on black Friday to de-stress. Groupon special. Picked out items on the list, but also brought a TV screen, old plates, and whiskey bottles and other glass jars. Loved that if you bring something that is listed on their list, thats allowed. Korri and her team were very welcoming, knowledgeable, super sweet and gave us plates and black markers to decorate our plates and free bottles of water. She even gave us extra glass bottles and a few surprises. We saved the confetti bombs and grenades until the very end. Because no one was booked after us, we were allowed to stay as long as we wanted. Our session of .30 minutes quickly became an hour and a half. We burned over 1000 calories smashing, pulverizing and breaking pottery, plates, glass bottles and jars, keyboards, computers, tv screens, computer towers, etc. The weapons of crow bar, bats, sledge hammer, bike lock were efficient. Throwing the plates and pottery against the wall was satisfying. Really enjoyed this opportunity to de-stress. Bring your own music to plug into their speaker and crank it up. Soundproof rooms. This was a fun quick day date after lunch! And much needed during the holiday season. We hit up Goodwill prior to our scheduled time to grab a few more pieces cheap with their 50% color sticker day. The smash room also provided a big crate of bottles, plates, mugs - but they had a lot more items on site to purchase. Next time we'll get a couple confetti bottles or a printer and have an Office Space moment. Highlight for me was smashing a router and plates. Bottles were fun, but being able to take a few hits was therapeutic. Also recommend bringing hearing protection if you're doing larger items as the small room for me was too much for my ears.
