BBs are crap aswell .25g??? Are you serious? The arena is even worse unless you like getting full autoed every other corner... Fightertown isnt just a place trying to take money from people for a sad excuse for a game of airsoft unlike VIP airsoft is. Go to fightertown its like 20 bucks on saturday and if you go again on Sunday its only 5 unlike vip for $36 you can get 4 hours entry and your stuff gets touched by the refs. Try better. read more

Staff was really nice, arena was very well kept and very big compared to other arenas. The rental M4 that they give you was really good and battery was full. The only thing I wish they didn't have as many breaks I felt like it was every 15 minutes there was a 15 minute break. I get it for some people because they empty there mags in less than 5 minutes but for the more conservative shooters I feel like they could make the breaks further apart. read more

Great Staff! Super Helpful!!! They always take time to provide excellent service, especially when a massive group comes in and more assistance is needed... they pull other team members over to open another register or answer questions :-) They have a tech person on certain days that will assess issues and offer a paid repair or support actions. I just had my sons 14th birthday party there yesterday and they had a blast! The staff was so knowledgeable and helped all of them get familiar with how the games worked. Yah, VIP is the McDonald's of airsoft, you don't go there EVER intentionally, only because you have no other good option. Most of the staff clearly have zero control over anything The amount of cheap wannabe "speedsofters" is also unreal, the will shoot you 10-12 times while strobing you and then move on to the next person. There are also an astonishing amount of cheaters who will full auto you when the get pissed, or feel that you are not playing their way. I was literally assaulted by a player on the field after he full autoed my whole team. I was in his way and he threw me into a wall. The staff DID NOT BAN HIM. 2/10 stars read more

We have been to multiple Airsoft fields in Arizona and California and this one is buy far the best one out there. The field layout, rules, the referees, on site store and food options are all top notch compared to their peers. The best part is the unlimited respawns, which means you get to play the entire game. Other fields, you get shot once you are dead/done and have to sit out the rest of the game. So instead of playing for 20 minutes in a game, you only play for 30 seconds. They also do a good job breaking teams up into two groups. Many times when there is a large group, new players will have their own session, while the more experienced players will play in a completely different game. It is a good bonding experience with my son and I highly recommend VIP. read more

This is a cool place. It's very clean, the staff is helpful, and they even have a separate room for parties. There is a snack bar and a shop where they sell equipment as well. I have never played, but my 15 year old loves it and goes with his friends. You can only book 4 hour sessions, so it's a great place to drop him off and pick him up and know he's safe. They don't let you bring in any outside food or drink. I know they run a business, but it's a little disappointing that you can't even bring your own water bottle. It gets expensive when you have to buy food, drinks, and rent equipment each time. If you have your own equipment, it's not as bad. I wouldn't recommend it for younger kids. They're shooting BBs, but they still hurt. I see people come out with welts all the time, even through clothing. A more timid child may not enjoy it. read more

I am a big fan of writing good reviews but this is not that. I had a very poor experience today at VIP Phoenix. To begin, when I walked in they did not have me sign waivers of any kind. After I paid the $35 for play I asked where to fill out the liability form and I was told that "it's all good you can go get started" ... yikes! That seems very suspicious.... I began to get singled out throughout the entire experience by two people who appeared to be friends with the referees that were working Friday 03/18 between 4 and 8Pm. They did not call their hits and kept shooting myself and friends inside of 10 feet. One of them got pretty aggressive with me while playing which made me feel very uncomfortable. The ref's ended up blaming it on us - which being an adult made me feel a little uncomfortable due to the referee in charge of 50+ people being about half of my age. I do not recommend this place whatsoever. We paid $35 each for 4 hours of gameplay and only got to run 3 15 minute games. I hope that my experience at my next airsoft field will not have any kind of cheaters like this as well as poor management. PS - when I got home I had realized I had two lithium batteries stolen out of my bag (they are $40 each) yikes! I hope that they figure out a solution for this theft. Perhaps lockers or something like that. read more

Courteous, helpful and knowledgable staff. Clean arena. Great specials offered not too far off the interstate. Downfall: very, very little seating (3 benches). My kids are too young to drop off so I wait. Also would be nice if they had a snack bar. When they come to play the 4 hour sessions they get hungry and a vending machine is the only option. read more

Pew! pew! Pew! It's so fun to do! My 12 yr old son wanted to go do Airsoft for his Birthday. I did some research and picked VIP in Phx. The 8 wild 12-13 year old boys played for 4 hours! They ran, dodge pellets, and played non stop. There wasn't a boy who wasn't drenched in sweat. We had parents do the waiver online so it was easy when our guests showed up. The staff outfitted us with gear, guns and bullets. I told the kids and the moms to make sure they had long pants, tennis shoes and a sweatshirt for some skin protection. The staff was very attentive and helpful. It is a little pricey for a birthday but it was worth it!!! read more

My 11 yr old son and I were invited to join some friends to play some airsoft at VIP so we thought we'd give it a try. That was an amazing decision!!!! My son and I had the time of our lives. It was so much fun running, jumping, diving, and sliding on our knees all while trying to shoot our enemies. Both my son and myself were completely drenched in sweat by the time we left four hours later. From the moment we walked in we were greeted by courteous and professional staff members. They got us signed in and the waivers taken care of quickly and then got us outfitted with rental gear so we were ready to play in a very timely manner. About an hour into our stay by son and I both realized that we loved this game and we would definitely be back to play again so during one of the breaks we stepped into the pro shop and dropped a ton of money buying everything we needed to play again with our own gear. Needless to say, now that we have our own gear we will be back as soon and as often as possible. When we were purchasing our guns, facemasks, goggles, and everything else we needed to be fully outfitted we dealt with Brian, the owner. We also dealt with Case(hope I remember this correctly) and both were extremely knowledgeable and very helpful while trying to purchase our first airsoft weapons. I, for myself purchased a KWA ronin T6 which was absolutely amazing while we were playing. My son and I were playing around with our guns a few days later and my KWA rifle started malfunctioning. Since we live more than 40 miles away I decided to call VIP to see if they could recommend a solution. I spoke to Case on the phone and he tried to walk me through a solution on how to fix it. We were unable to fix it over the phone so he called Brian, the owner, to find out what to do next. He told me just to come back as soon as I could and they would just swap it out for a new one. Problem solved! Airsoft is an amazing game! It is great exercise and such a thrill to play. My son and I had so much fun! Thank you so much VIP staff for making this a great experience for my son and myself. You guys will be seeing us on a regular basis. read more

I had my sons 1th birthday party here. My son had an absolute blast but he loves things like this. It looked like a couple kids at the party didn't have the best time because they got hurt. One child's mask slid down on his forehead a little bit and he I got a pallet in the forehead with a pretty big knot and another child forgot gloves in his hands were in a lot of pain from getting hit in my hands we split up gloves so everyone had at least one. For parties, I would give it five stars but you were not allowed to bring in your own pizza or food only cake. The pizza looks terrible. I bought it for a few of the players who were hungry and after they looked at it , only one slice was taken for $17. So eat before you go! There are very serious players here, both teenagers and adults. They are decked out in all kinds of equipment and ready to shoot. But if you like airsoft, this is the place to be!!! I showed up for my first time ever airsofting with my boyfriend and his friend. There was a particular group of boys who we constantly being blatantly racist to a group of Middle Eastern men. They continuously called me an idiot and stupid because of how I played. After bringing up to management and staff, nothing was done. The staff even mentioned they were repeating offenders of this type of thing. Overall materials were good, other people were friendly but staff needs to crack down and stop picking favorites with regular players. read more

Most of the reviews on here are from rentals or people that went one time. I'm a regular. I'm a pretty experienced player and this is my home field. Love the place. The refs do their job well, the prices in the shop are pretty reasonable, and it's a decent setup in the field. I will share this experience for you moms considering sending your kids here for a birthday: the refs here are super about making it a good day the new players. I've been put on the younger players teams, and they've told me to "nerf it" and go with just basic gear so that the new guys wouldn't be intimidated. Good times. read more

Been a customer for a little over 5 years now. Sad to say that both the Phoenix and Gilbert locations have gone into the gutter. They have lost all of their good staff, targeted teams and players for the same actions that regular players also have done, and at best have meh customer service. This is the place you want to go if you would like to waste $45 dollars on a day of non-stop arguing and complaining whilst having video footage of every encounter or engagement with every staff and player. They pick and choose where they want to apply the rules and to who they want to apply them to, and it ultimately ruins the experience for not only new players but the ones that return over and over to see if anything has changed just to see that it has indeed not changed. Only reason I was a customer for so long was that it was indoors but I've realized now there are better options for cheaper than that. Pro shop is brutally overpriced too. Another worrisome concern is the safety inside the arena. Many times have I slipped on piles of bbs that the refs should be cleaning up but have admitted not to doing. In addition to that there are also some fire safety code violations that the city wouldn't approve of. Overall sad that it has come to this point, the only thing I can do now is just steer people away and hopefully save them a piece of mind and a lot of money. read more

Yesterday I went to vip for a friendly experience with my friends and I got singled out for cheating just because I have a polar star. One of the employees Casey has thrown me out of matches before because of bumping but when I did I dint know that wasn't allowed and yesterday I had false accusations towards me saying that I was bumping,full auto,too fast of respawns and not calling my hits not only is that false it's bullshit because if I'm standing 15 feet away and I get hit I'm going to call it that hurts I called every single hit even if I dint feel it. read more

You show up and they charge 40 dollars for 4 hours of play time and you get rentals. Good right? No they make you sit down for over 1 hour of your time while the party kids get to play. You are ready to go in and then they confiscate your bb's so you buy there's. Nope the ones they sell in their cabinet are not allowed in the area Edit: Everytime I came I hade to fix my gun. They want to charge $30 for a spring change which is unacceptable because I bought the gun from you. Your tech repair is full of guns from your shop. My friend bought the same gun I have off of evoke not only was it cheaper it works. Your shop is overpriced for the quality of the gun you get. I've bought 2 guns and they are trash. 2nd Bryan they only went over safety for 2 minutes. Everyone just sits and talks the rest of the time. And anyone reading this when I went they wanted me to go on the other team than my friends that came with me. So don't go with friends. The overall experience of this place is horrible. read more

We had my son's 11th Birthday party at VIP last Sunday. It was seamless from start to finish. The facility is clean, large and very welcoming. Our party room even had a large window overlooking the play area so that the parents could watch all of the action.Our party host, Tom was outstanding. He went above and beyond to make sure we were well taken care of the entire 4 hours we were there. Tom was extremely patient, kind and engaging making sure the boys had a blast.
