On the surface and it looks like it's pretty reasonably priced for an hour of "unlimited" use of three different attractions. But that includes the time you stand in line waiting. So our "60" minutes was really only about 15 after all the standing in line. And each attraction is between 2-3 minutes. Literally more time is spent standing in line than enjoying the attractions. There are two laser room options. In one you get 90 seconds to slice through the lasers and rack up points for how many you get. The second is where you dodge lasers, Mission Impossible style. In this room you can have one or two players and choose easy, medium, hard or expert. If you buy a pass for the mirror maze you get unlimited runs all day. We used our Get Out Pass for one free run through the laser slicing room. The kids came out laughing and begging for more. It got expensive quick as i dropped $50+ for an all day mirror maze pass and a few more runs through the laser rooms. Worth it though because the kids had a blast and ran out so much energy! We ran into friends and while us moms sat and chatted the kids ran through the mirror maze for another two hours. Honestly, my family and I were hoping for more value than what we got. The mirror maze was fun and the only negative would be it could be longer but that goes without saying. My kids had a blast in there. Bonus points for allowing us to keep going through the maze till closing time. The laser room though... that was the disappointment. We were expecting a maze, not a less than 3 min experience. It wasn't even a maze. You have to hit buttons on the wall as fast as you can without hitting the lasers. Fun in the moment but leaves you wanting more. You want to run again? Nope. Well unless you pay of course. The mirror maze is included in the Odysea/Butterfly membership I have, so it was worth checking out for free. It was fun to try, but I don't see myself going back, and definitely not paying for it. The laser maze looks like it would be pretty fun, but honestly I'm not interested enough to pay full price for the experience. The entry into the laser maze is pretty cool and makes you think you're about to go into a Disney-type experience, but that theme does not seem to carry at all into the rest of the maze, so that's a little bit of a letdown. read more

This place is very fun. The mirror maze is entertaining a hard to get through the first time. My kids really enjoyed it. I got a little dizzy with all the mirrors but I am sensitive when it comes to anything messing with my Vision. My family went through it twice. When you get tickets you can go through at as many times as you want all day which is awesome and you get to do one laser room per tickets. I would recommend this for a family outing. read more

We went to the Arizona Boardwalk for Butterfly Wonderland and decided to add on the Laser + Mirror Maze with our ticket because we had never been to that attraction. Now that we've experienced it, I think doing it as an add-on was the right choice. It was fun, but it's not enough to be a stand alone activity that you go to that center for. The price for the add-on was $10 per person, but if you go and just do that then it is $15 per person. I wouldn't pay more than $10 and I'm not sure if we'll do it again even at that price. It was fun to go through the mirror maze a couple of times and we liked the laser game that you can do once, but we were in and out within a half hour and even then most of the time was spent waiting for our turn at the laser game. The employees were very nice and helpful. We appreciated that they told us about the hidden items inside the mirror maze because those were fun to search for. What a fun spot at the Arizona Boardwalk! The mirror maze takes about 5 minutes and is challenging . The laser part is Mission Impossible style with different levels of difficulty which was fun for the 39 year old & the 9 year old in our group. They had so much fun they did it 3 times before we went over to the Museum of Illusion which was also worth the time. The spectators can watch both activities on a screen which was fun & we videoed the laser screens for them to see later. The guys working this area were great! Super helpful & kind. read more

GetOutPass beware. False advertisement. On the GetOutPass app.. clearly laser maze is third on their list. The manager informed us that they were no longer part of the GetOutPass regardless of it being listed on the app. She mentioned we should have called to make sure they participated. It was on the app!! Had she have been pleasant and not had the attitude of not wanting to be there, we would have bought tickets for the four of us anyways. We go to laser tag several times a month because our boys love it so much. Bad customer service and apparently not worth the experience based off the reviews. read more

Take my review with a grain of salt because I'm an adult who went with a few other adults. I can totally see this place being extremely fun for kids younger than maybe 12. We did both the laser room and mirror maze and it really wasn't for us. We chose to do the mirror maze first, and at first it was cool but it's extremely simple to "solve" if you have any sense of direction. Maybe if the exit was somewhere else? The laser seemed like a waste of money too. It's not explained well by the staff and it doesn't last long. Once we figured it out, our runs were over and we couldn't do it anymore. The only reason why I'm giving this place two stars is because I can really see the appeal for small kids. It seems like a really fun time for them and the ones that were in there looked like they were having a blast. If you're a teen or adult, I can't recommend it at all and would advise you spend your money elsewhere. read more

TLDR; probably more fun for the kids. If you buy combo tickets for the other attractions, you don't spend a lot more to add this onto your day. We were planning to do a combo ticket for just the OdySea Aquarium and the Butterfly Wonderland but we saw it was only $5 more per person to add on the laser and mirror maze. Might as well! I've done mirror mazes before, they're like a standard at carnivals and fairs. But neither of us have done a laser maze before. I will say that it's mainly families with kids that are participating...which kind of made us feel like we were way too old to do it but we already bought the tickets so...oh well. You can go through the mirror maze as much as you want but only one try with the laser maze. The mirror maze was alright. We ended up finding the exit within 5 minutes. But it was cool that they gave everyone disposable gloves so there wouldn't be any fingerprint smudges all over the mirrors. Makes it a bit harder to tell if what's in front of you is a reflection or the pathway. The laser maze was pretty fun. You can choose your level of difficulty and play by yourself or with a partner. As the level goes up, you'll have to dodge moving lasers. We found ourselves crawling on the floors just to avoid setting off the alarm! Overall, I had fun but I don't know if I'd do it again. If there was an option for multiple tries at the laser maze, then maybe I'd be back. read more

Way overpriced for the experience. The concept of the mirror maze was good but it is a small maze (takes less than 10 minutes to complete). The staff, although friendly, did not appear to be well informed of pricing. Online pricing was different from what we were told with no explanation other than it changed that same day. The rules for the laser maze we're not explained well and the laser maze was extremely short (maybe 1 1/2 min. long). One person was handling both the cash and the line to the maze which made for a lot of waiting. I would not recommend, you can get more out of your money other places. We did the combo pack at the Odysea for 7 people and included this one in the package. This was our least favorite of it all. The young man who worked there was rude as heck. The 7 of us did one laser "game" and that was all we got. We paid for 7 passes for one game and were not allowed another. One game of laser lasted MAYBE 5 minutes tops. If he had given better guidance - we would have split the games. The maze was a real small run through.. we spent maybe max- 10 minutes in there? We found the exit in ~5 minutes but decided to turn around and find any hidden features. We will not be returning to this attraction in the area. read more

I took my daughter (13) here today. She and I did the Mirror Maze together and then she did the Lazer maze by herself. We stood in line at the ticket booth only to be told that since we are just buying maze tickets and not Butterfly tickets we have to get those at the entrance down the way. It would be nice if they put a sign up. They have you put on plastic gloves before going in and tell you to keep your hands up in front of you. This is to keep finger prints off the mirrors and to keep you from smacking your face in the mirrors. We both thought it was cool. It only took us 5 minutes to find the exit of the mirror maze so we went back in to do it again. It really is hard to see what is a mirror and what is a clear path. I'd see my daughter in a mirror straight ahead and walk towards her only to find that she was actually to my right. We'd get a kick out of that. The Lazer maze is small and take less than two minutes to complete. It's an empty room with four walls and lasers criss crossing through the room. The attendee will tell you your score at the end and how many lasers you broke. We both had fun but was it worth the money? $28 for two ppl in 15 minutes...... No it's not really worth the money. Though you have an all day pass for the mirror maze, your not really going to spend all day. It's too short so going through twice was enough. This place is fantastic! We did a birthday party for my daughter whos turning 10 and it was everything I could of asked for! First the room for the party was so amazing and decorated beautifully. The cupcakes were fantastic that come with the package and the kids had so much fun in fact my daughters friends talked about it for days afterwards. If I had one critique it would be that the parents who are waiting there with the kids should be able to go through the maze with the children. Other than that the experience was flawless! Laser maze is a blast for the kids, check Groupon for deals so you don't break the bank. Love the sitting area outside, great for waiting parents when the weather is cool and breezy. Bummer that you can't even bring water for a birthday party, it's $0.99 per additional 8oz bottle, but it beats the $1.25 pouch of Carpi Sun. My kids love ice cream but we couldn't bring an ice cream cake either. Loosen up, allow us to bring water (this is AZ) and our own cakes for the parties. read more

It was really cool for what it was but it was also over priced for what it was. I took two eight year olds, it was $15 per person so I spent $45 for the three of us and it was 10 minutes worth of entertainment. 10 minutes of entertainment for $45. In all fairness, the mirror maze was really cool, it was probably the coolest mirror maze I've ever been in. It took about five minutes to go through. We did go through it twice but the kids had lost interest after the first go through. Then, we got to play one game and we only got to play it once. I think it took three minutes to play the laser game and it was time to go. About 7 minutes of maze time and 3 minutes of laser game. I left thinking $45 down the drain. I would have been happier if we got to play both games and at least got to play for a reasonable amount of time. Maybe play each game three times would have been cool. Cool Maze For Kids To Run Around In For Hours and Adults For 30 minutes. The maze is actually pretty cool here and kids can spend a couple hours chasing each other around in the mirror maze. Adults have fun for about a half hour as we won't probably chase each other around as along.... lol. You wear mittens so you don't smudge the Mirrors which makes sense but your hands get warm after a while. Staff was friendly and all was good. Cool spot, I wish it was longer but it's definitely a good maze and worth a try. We also decided to wait a few moments at different intervals to let huge groups work through and give us some space. read more

My child really enjoyed this. She liked the mirror maze, but really loved the laser activity. You can choose different difficulty levels and the price is reasonable so she did it several times. I don't like my child getting out of my sight, so I also went through the mirror maze to supervise. But I was pleasantly surprised that with the laser room, since she was a party of 1, she was the only one in there. I didn't have to go in and supervise and was able to sit just outside the room in a comfortable chair and watch her via a screen in the waiting area. We came across this place while searching for a Groupon for "things to do" with kids. It certainly was something different, but as mentioned by many others, the maze is very small. Judging by the photos you might think there are a couple of different things to see here, but not really. There is just an entrance (that looks like you are walking over a bridge), the maze, and the room you end up at that spits you back into the maze or outside of the maze depending on which door you choose. In the middle there is an area where a circular part of the floor spins. The lights change gradually change color and there are some sound effects and music. We were done in less than 10 minutes. You are allowed to go through an unlimited amount of times during your time block, so we immediately went through again, but even with a 5-year-old prancing around and looking at herself in all of the mirrors, and all of the times I told everyone to hold still so I could snap some photos, we were done again in less than 10 minutes. We left to another part of the mall, and when I gave my daughter the chance to go through the maze one last time before we left for home she said no thanks. This was so much fun!! They give you gloves so you don't get fingerprints on the mirrors and then you go across the "bridge" and into the maze. It's a fairly small area so if there's another group it would ruin the illusion. We finished fairly quickly but ended up doing it backwards and forwards a couple time. read more

Once you've exhausted everything else to do in the greater Phoenix area, you might want to check this place out. However, be forewarned, there's just not much to it. There're two TINY mazes - a mirrored one and one created by lasers. The mirrored one takes about five minutes to get through the first time and about two minutes for subsequent runs. So, there's about seven minutes or so of entertainment for your $10 per person. After that, you just won't feel like doing it again. So, you'll move on to the laser maze challenge, which requires an additional fee - it ranges from $2 to $4 depending on how many times you want to go through it. It's a small room outfitted to look like a bank vault with lasers mimicking the alarm system. The idea is to move through the room as fast as you can whilst avoiding the lasers - you get a score based on how fast you get through it. The score system not only discourages youngsters from lingering inside the "vault," but it encourages them to move through it as fast as they can, which, according to the guy running the attraction, turns this thing into a real money making machine - probably another reason why they make the room look like a bank vault. My eleven year old went through both mazes twice and was ready to hit the road. So, although he did thoroughly enjoy the half-hour experience, this is not something anyone of any age will want to spend a whole afternoon doing. Was it worth the $25? I think so - glance at Scottsdale real estate prices and you'll get a better understanding of why things cost so much around here. Would I do it again? We got a groupon and off we went. I didn't have high expectations, and thought that it might end up not being worth the money and was pleasantly wrong! This would be 5 stars if it had been cooler in the maze, it was quite warm. We had a lot of fun nonetheless. We went through 3 times. First time we just tried to find our way out. Second time we did the challenge the desk clerk told us about. He was very helpful and made it fun. When we came out we had only found 4 of the 5 butterflies. He told us there was one more and said he could give us a hint, we decided to try a little longer and had teamed up with another family to find it. After a while we came out for a hint and went back on the hunt. We found it after a few minutes! Me and my girlfriend went on a date here because the laser maze looked like fun and something different to do. It costs about $10 for 5 tickets, and each ticket entitles one person to go through the maze challenge or two tickets lets two people go at the same time. The laser maze lasts only 60 seconds and though it was fun, it went by very quickly and wasn't anything crazy or mind-blowing. We went thru the maze pretty quickly but had some fun doing that which is why I gave it the two stars. The laser part of the experience was very anticlimactic. You only get one chance at doing it and it's over before you know it. Big waste of money. Got a Groupon for my son's 10th Birthday party (would never pay regular prices). It was all inclusive for 10 kids and they don't charge adults who are staying. The Butterfly Garden was not included and each kid could go through the maze as many times as possible and twice through the lazer maze. We scheduled for first thing on a Sunday morning which was perfect because no one else was there for the first hour. The mirror maze was enjoyable for the kids and interesting for adults. Something that sucked was paying taxes upon arrival. What was awesome was the party planner Roxy had the party room decorated awesome along with a neat little "Top Secret Agent" folder and game for the kids to play. The cupcakes were slightly above average. The MOST amazing part of the experience: the birthday party attendant is NOT expecting or allowed to receive tips. CAN YOU IMAGINE?!?!?! I just had my son's 7th birthday party here. We opted for the 4-6 pm party which was awesome because they closed the venue for the party. I cannot emphasize how wonderful,, professional, personable and kind Sam (the manager) was! He was an amazing person to work with and his staff were so kind and courteous. I feel blessed having the opportunity to meet them. The staff took care of everything for the party too. It was the most stress free experience I've ever had renting out a venue. It was worth every penny spent. Lastly, the kids were completely entertained for the 2 hours they were there. They also got very tired from playing so much, which was nice.
