We stopped by here during a day at the Marzaplaz and the service was excellent. I ordered a salad with goat cheese and it was simple and stunning. The salad came dressed already with the perfect amount of dressing. The goat cheese was heated and came with a large portion. I also enjoyed a lavender spritz which was such a nice change to the aperol spritz that I would typically order. This is a great stop on your journey.

Located in the old city of Munich, you can't go wrong with Leger am Dom. Like most restaurants there is plenty of outdoor seating. Views and people watching are my favorite. We tried the Munich Wurstsalat. It was refreshing and had ample thinly sliced sausage. It had a slight bolony flavor, but a higher quality than Oscar Meyer! For dinner, we tried the Allgau Cheese Spatzle and the Weiner Schnitzel. The Spatzle was like a fancy mac and cheese, but so much better. Who doesn't love pasta like dough and cheese. The Schnitzel was so good. It was fried to perfection and the breeding had the right amount of flavor and seasoning.

We had walked by this place a couple of days before and it was jammed packed ... so we decided to give a try a couple of days later ... on a rainy Saturday night. We were nicely greeted and given a high table next to the bar and we had a waiter named Daniel who was so nice and friendly. We ordered a couple of bottles of wine while we were there and a seafood salad to share .. We didn't want dinner just a bit with some wine. The menu is german food, but a tad limited .. wine selection was great. Prices a tad higher but not crazy. No issues and we enjoyed our time there. By the time we left the place was packed. NO problem coming back !

Appetizers! Fig and goat cheese salad, smoked duck, beef carpaccio. So good.

When it's busy, your order can get lost. Sucks that we beat the rush, and got served almost never (an hour after we ordered).

Good food, fun atmosphere but just out of the chaos on the pedestrian mall. Would go back again

American in Munich for long weekend for work and told by taxi driver that I had to eat traditional German breakfast of weisswurst on Marienplatz.

We would definitely come back again and would highly recommend this place. Everything from the drinks, bread with special butters, soups, truffle pasta, chicken with a pastry top version of a chx pot pie and some other entrees were all terrific. The apple dessert did not disappoint either - yum ( need to order ahead to give it 25 mins or so ) First rate -don't miss this gem of a restaurant! . Thx you for a wonderful dinner! Enjoy

Pretty good restaurant. Really enjoyed the ambiance the most. Especially because it's away from all…read morethe touristy stuff. The amuse bouche was bread with two spread and a cold pea soup. The soup was refreshing and I really enjoyed it. The bread was good as well. One of the spreads was obazda dip which I love. I thought they made it ok. We started with the veal ravioli. They were tender and tasted pretty good. I had the restaurant special which was basically a chicken pot pie. I thought it was good but I've had better. I thought the chicken was over cooked and the capers inside was a bit off putting to me because there were so many and made the whole dish too sour for me. It was a bit off putting. My friend had the fillet with white asparagus and potatoes and hollandaise sauce. It was basic but I preferred her dish. The dessert had strawberry and tarragon I believe. It was well balanced, not too sweet, and I liked the herbs with the dessert. They also had a nice drink menu and a good variety of wines. They did not let us try the wine before pouring it which I expected since this is a nice place. Overall thought the service was decent but not great.
