irmi is actually inside le meridian Munich across from the main Munich station. We came here with invitation for Bonvoy elites to try an appetizer and a drink. They served some bread with prosciutto and some sort of a mustard mix. For choice of drink, you could choose white wine, red wine or beer. We both chose beer as it is the land of beer. The small appy was good enough for us to decide to stay for dinner (which is their goal I suppose) At the waiters recommendation we ordered the pork ribs. The presentation was insanely good. He also took the time to teach us how to put on the spices, lemon and pepper for the flavour to soak in for a couple of minutes. The meat was super tender and juicy. The potatoes were good too but we were too fully to finish. All in all, phenomenal service and excellent food.

What an outstanding location within a hotel. After a long day of meetings being able to walk downstairs, be greeted by a friendly face, and have an exceptional meal is priceless. Again, everyone at the restaurant was super friendly and accommodating. What made it even better was the food, and German beer was outstanding. Out of five days I ate at the restaurant three times and got the schnitzel each time...very adventurous...but it was so good. The schnitzel was outstanding, but the sides between the fried potatoes and potato salad were perfect accompaniments. Even if you are not staying at the hotel, this place is worth a stop.

The duck.... What's German for duck? Quakenflufen? I'd google It but making up words is more fun.

Had a really tasty meal at this hotel attached restaurant.... I had their duck and it was really good. The potato balls were ok but I didn't have room for them and nobody would eat my balls.... Not sure I recall what my friends had but I think it was a mix of mostly good food. Ambiance was nice, service was excellent:).

Very good Bavarian food. Try the asparagus soup it is out of this world. The space is attractive with knotty pine and Bavarian decor. Nice wine list with suggested pairings with food. Across the street from the train station

We would definitely come back again and would highly recommend this place. Everything from the drinks, bread with special butters, soups, truffle pasta, chicken with a pastry top version of a chx pot pie and some other entrees were all terrific. The apple dessert did not disappoint either - yum ( need to order ahead to give it 25 mins or so ) First rate -don't miss this gem of a restaurant! . Thx you for a wonderful dinner! Enjoy

Pretty good restaurant. Really enjoyed the ambiance the most. Especially because it's away from all…read morethe touristy stuff. The amuse bouche was bread with two spread and a cold pea soup. The soup was refreshing and I really enjoyed it. The bread was good as well. One of the spreads was obazda dip which I love. I thought they made it ok. We started with the veal ravioli. They were tender and tasted pretty good. I had the restaurant special which was basically a chicken pot pie. I thought it was good but I've had better. I thought the chicken was over cooked and the capers inside was a bit off putting to me because there were so many and made the whole dish too sour for me. It was a bit off putting. My friend had the fillet with white asparagus and potatoes and hollandaise sauce. It was basic but I preferred her dish. The dessert had strawberry and tarragon I believe. It was well balanced, not too sweet, and I liked the herbs with the dessert. They also had a nice drink menu and a good variety of wines. They did not let us try the wine before pouring it which I expected since this is a nice place. Overall thought the service was decent but not great.
