I take my boys to Legendary Doughnuts on special occasions. Their crafted doughnuts are very unique, and lovely to look at. Sadly, I only order coffee but the kids love the doughnuts. Interior architecture is reminiscent of old Hollywood. In a classy manner, crystal lights display the artsy doughnuts. Five out of Five for Five Hundred Calories :-) read more

I am not normally a fan of cake donuts. These cake donuts were fantastic! Very moist and dense but not dry and crumbly. That being said, I really like the Lucille Ball and their version of the "cronut" The doughnuts have fancy names but I really like the orange and pineapple flavored ones. The chocolate covered with fruity pebbles is tasty. I liked the chocolate and peanut butter ones too...Very nice doughnuts. read more

I have been a regular customer of Legendary Doughnuts for some time now, coming in almost every Sunday to buy a dozen doughnuts and 2 chocolate milks, and I have loved them... until today. When I visit, I get a dozen doughnuts. It's never the same as it usually depends on what I, or the family, want that week, but I have never paid more than the highest priced dozen on their board, which is a dozen "Legendary" doughnuts for $24.99. More often then not, I get charged the $19.99 for their mix & match dozen, which allows up to four from each of their "quality tiers". Today, I get 6 Legendary and 6 Amateur for the dozen. The lady behind the counter proceeds to ring up each doughnut individually and the total comes up to $40. When I call her attention to it, she said it was because I got 6 Legendary and 6 Amateur. I am a little confused and she tells me I have to conform exactly to the dozen specifications to get the prices on the board. So basically, if I had gotten 12 Legendary doughnuts, which cost more than the other 2 tiers, I would have paid less money than I did for 6 Legendary and 6 Amateur. When I pointed this out to the woman behind the counter, she stated, "I can't charge you the lesser amount, they've been on our case." How about a little customer service? Fine, if that's what you have to do, that's what you have to do. You didn't have to be rude about it, and if that's what you need to do how about cutting a break to a customer that comes in once a week to buy doughnuts and say, "Okay, but next time..." I may be only one customer who spent around $30 a week in your shop, but from the looks of your page, I'm not the only one upset. With so many other choices for bakeries in town, and ones that are far less expensive, you sure don't care about Customer Service. I will no longer be visiting your store for my doughnut needs, and I will make sure that everyone I know understands that why. They don't care about their customers. Find somewhere that does. read more

Fancy pricey doughnuts but they taste like doughnuts. A dozen from my local grocery store and I would've been just fine.

They always have fresh donuts, even at 4pm. We love taking the kids for a treat after school.

The Covington location is a bit smaller than the original Tacoma location and has a smaller selections. They were out of many of their standards by noon when we arrived. The german chocolate cake one was our favorite. They make amazing cake donuts, both rich and moist! Their raised donuts are good too, but not as amazing as the cake donuts. The case of milk and chocolate milk was a great touch! I wish they also has individual chocolate almond milks for those of us who can't handle a large amount of dairy. The staff was very friendly and apologetic that all the fritters were sold out. read more

Best donuts in maple valley, grab some coffee from RVAC coffee stand just down the road. They always have fresh donuts.

Just happened to walk in while the owners were here! The wife was in the back helping make the doughnuts because of a coverage issue or something. How cool!!! For the owners to scrub in and fill gaps with multiple locations is hugely commendable. Let's talks doughnuts... they're gigantic. Simple as that. read more

First visit and not the last. Took me about a year to finally go in. Overall impression? Awesome!! The display case is loaded with so many different kinds of treats that it was hard to make my choices. I bought four: (1) a bacon maple bar - real, crispy bacon; (2) a chocolate bar; (3) a buttermilk bar; (4) something with cheese and bacon inside. The gal said it would be best microwaved so I'll save it for breakfast tomorrow. The store is in a little mall with lots of parking. The gal was very friendly. Prices might seem to be a bit high ($2.50-2.75 each) but fear not. The donuts are HUGE double size. I cut two in half so I could sample more than one. The store is clean and smells so good. I'll add this stop when I am down that way to Costco. read more

My brother-in-law introduced me to this donut shop after bringing some day-old donuts over to my house for me to try and even though they were far from fresh, they were some of the tastiest donuts that I've ever had!! They had unique flavors and my favorite are their doughsants (donut/croissant). I liked them so much, I decided to call in and order some donuts for a friend's baby shower. A very nice young lady took my order and was extremely helpful in making sure that the customized donuts matched the theme of the party and that I stayed within budget. She ended up recommending the smaller donut balls in varying colors. They were absolutely perfect! Not too sweet, soft and doughy, and so pretty. Everyone at the party wanted to know where we got them! Definitely a hit! read more

So many flavors to choose from! It took us a while to even choose anything. One thing you need to understand is they have sort of a tier system for their donuts (amateur and legendary). So that is to say the fancier stuff is pricier than the others. Welp me and the wife went full fat girl and got a dozen legendary. We broke some major bread to the tune of $27. I won't stand here and tell you that a dozen donuts is worth that. I also won't say I wouldn't do it again. Donut joints are usually pretty easy as even mediocre donuts are pure carby sugary goodness but the quality here is quite a bit better. Everything was fresh and soft and buttery and sinful as God intended for donuts to be. We tried French toast, Homer Simpson, Sex and the city, apple fritter, Cinnamon roll, pumpkin cream cheese just to name a few. None have disappointed so far read more

Ahhhh my god... I think I developed diabeetus just walking in here...... Seriously. You walk in and just smell SUGAR. I LOVED IT. The place is really cute but it doesn't really have a theme and the signage is really outdated even though this is a brand new location. My main reason for giving it a four was because one girl was working, nobody was in there, and the tables were still LITTERED in crumbs. Literally every table was covered, so we just had to sit at the place that was the least dirty. The donuts, however, are AMAZING. I got the Peanut Butter Pancake and ohhhh man.. It's a maple bar base donut with peanut butter frosting and chocolate chips. It was so good. My sister got the smores and it was okay. There wasn't really anything that stood out to me. I will be back though, that's for sure. There are many more donuts for me to try. read more

Yummmmmmmmy doughnuts! The place was slammed on a Saturday morning but the line moved really fast. Huge selection. They have the typical maple, chocolate, and cake doughnuts as well as an array of funky fun selections such as the Charlie Brown, Sex & the City, or Fat Albert. I tried a Blueberry Fritter- cut into it and it smelled like fresh blueberries! It was delicious and HUGE. I had probably 1/8 of it and was satisfied. I also tried 1/4 of the Sex and the City- a chocolate cake doughnut with chocolate & caramel frosting sprinkled with salt. It was very rich, almost too rich. The employees were great and there are currently lots of fun Seahawk specials! read more

I'm a donut guy. I swear. Maple bars. Fritters. Cream filled. Red velvet. Donut holes. You name it, I like it (except lemon filling). My wife and I came here on a slow Saturday morning to grab something to munch on and some caffeine. The first thing I noticed when I arrived was that these donuts are HUGE. They have a wide variety of very unique donuts, and I wanted to try them all. We got about 8 donuts, a mocha, and a black coffee. We sat on the stools and started to dig in. We had a red velvet donut, s'more, cream filled, etc. I tried my first donut... and it wasn't really what I expected. It was firm on the outside and a bit soft/crumbly on the inside. It threw me off. I'm more used to soft and chewy. I sipped the mocha to refresh my palate, and the mocha tasted old. I tried another donut.. same result. At this point I'm a bit disappointed. We took the rest of the donuts home and I tossed my mocha after about 3 sips. I'm interested in trying it again.. but my first impression wasn't the best. read more

This place is just amazing. The best tasting donuts I've ever had, and unfortunately (haha), the biggest donuts. I'm surprised at all of the raving. The doughnuts are not very good. Dry, stale, tasteless. The bacon on the bacon maple has been burnt the 3 times I've tried them. HORRIBLE F**CLING Service from a guy in there this morning. We found out that he got our order wrong and tried to call him 4 times and no one answered. Totally not worth it! I tried the salted Caramel cronut. It was so tough that I had to bite down hard to eat it. I also tried the cookies and cream donut. It didn't seem very fresh and the topping crumbled off. The price is ridiculous! You'd be better off eating a yucky grocery store donut. At least it would be more affordable! read more

My Husband I popped in here on our way home. We had fun standing in the long line, but it moved pretty fast. We loved looking at all the fun named and decorated Donuts. I just had one of the worst experiences there. I walked in and there was basically nothing left. All the cannolis were mixed together. I told my mom that I couldn't even have a cannoli if I wanted because the nuts were everywhere. That's when the worker had the idea to make a sarcastic comment. She smirked and said well we wouldn't want a break out would we? She made me feel like my allergy was a joke. I never want to step foot in there if that's how I am going to be treated. Why oh why can I not give a 3 1/2. So I've been to legendary doughnuts a few times. Donuts are not really my thing, however I do have donut lovers and my family. Basically my family rates the donut place by two specific donuts, the Apple fritter, and the old-fashioned. My step daughter loves the Apple fritter and my daughter and I like an old fashioned. I do have to say the old fashioned donuts are Huge, and overly sweet for my taste. They are also very spendy. Although, all of the donuts they make are large. They can be a little dry and lacking flavor. My step daughters favorite seems to be from Westernco and old fashioned from top pot. We will continue to go to legendary periodically, as we like to support the local businesses. read more
