Great food and super service. Single largest donuts I have ever seen. Apple fritter is amazing.

The donuts are to die for!! Freshly made and Sooo great!!! However, the coffee isn't worth drinking. read more

I will admit I have not been in this store, nor ordered one single thing on the menu, but my son and his GF brought these donuts to our Birthday party in Sept (outside) and they were F A B U L O U S !!! OMG...I love them. I probaby will NOT be going in here to order anything, ever...but....I know my son will be bringing them to me again in time. I am diabetic, so cannot regularly eat at this super duper donut heaven... read more

Wow this place is unreal! The donuts are so big but also delicious. The creme brûlée donut is out of this world. Really messy to eat but unlike any donut I've ever had. The selection is so big!! There's something for everyone. They even have dog treats. read more

I love the variety of doughnuts you can get from Legendary doughnuts! The last time I went though, it took a long time to order and some of the doughnuts weren't as good as they sounded. read more

I decided to try again with ordering special occasion Donuts for a Birthday surprise. First of all I paid 25.00 for them, and I feel like I was ignored on what I wanted. I ordered 2 chocolate bars with peanutbutter filling and got 2 maple bars with no filling-then letter donuts-but they just look all messy in the box. I am done ordering from them for special occasions, a donut once in awhile is fine-they can't mess that up. So disappointing!! read more

Love this place... Love the owners... Shannon keep up the good work!! I love that Shannon's Hubby is a cop! Makes me smile a cop owns a doughnut shop! Always fresh product. Never have been disappointed. Frequented here well over 20 times! My ho to doughnuts when going to visit my grandkids!! read more

Not the best donuts to be found. They do have dog treats, which is nice. But the donuts seem to be a bit over sold.

Been here a few times to satisfy a donut craving cause you can only have cookies so often... Donuts aren't "legendary' per se, but run of the mill in flavor and texture; sweet and fluffy. However, some of their special flavors can be a bit of a sweet overload. Pricing is on the higher side but they're all decent sized. Even though I had a craving, a few of these donuts still left something to be desired... read more

I consider this place to be such a treat and a true gem. The only reason I took it down a star is because I think it's overly priced for donuts however I can understand and appreciate the work that probably goes into making each and everyone of these specialty donuts. They had a wonderful selection, wide range of flavors, fun and inviting donuts for children, and I love that they also make dog treats as well. Although, I am a tad concerned that they're mixing all of these in the same place but I think the dog treats are made with totally human consumable products. read more

Great selection and unique donuts. The staff are very helpful and there is never a rush even when they're busy.

You get what you pay for here! The variety of donuts and baked goods are outstanding.

I love coming here. The donuts are fabulous. They are like donuts on crack. One donut is the size of 2-3 normal size donuts. The salted caramel doughsant are my very favorite. It's a flaky layered donut, so yummy! I love the cute names of the donuts like "Sex in the city". Usually I come late and the choices are limited, but there always something that looks yummy. It's super cute inside. Definitely not your typical donut shop. The employees are all very friendly and helpful too. read more

This shop is a sick joke. Went in to purchase a donut and they wouldn't accept cash. I reminded the counter person that US currency is legal tender for all debts public and private, she said "we also have the right to refuse service" Fuck you legendary shit nuts. Refused servive because I wanted to use American money to buy a single donut.... read more

I called in to place an order. I confirmed that what I was wanting to purchase was available after speaking to the staff member to be told it would be ready for pickup in 5 minutes. I say great, I'll submit my order via door dash and get told oh, we can't do that via door dash, you have to get it yourself. What? You're seriously unwilling to place the 4 donuts that you just confirmed are there in a box based on the pickup method? I'm not willing to pay over $20 for four donuts I may or may not like. I don't follow how it makes sense as a business model to not accommodate a simple request as a matter of "policy". I've done tons of business through door dash and have literally never run into a place that has been unwilling to accommodate via a quick phone call just like this. The product I want to buy is sitting right there, the phone call is the same amount of time whether I pick it up or someone else does, like... what am I missing here? read more

I went in sometime last week. The blonde girl at the front was super nice and friendly. She helped me with the menu, and also gave me a few freebies. THESE DONUTS ARE TEN STARS. They are so good. The donut holes are delicious and my favorite donut was the bourbon bites. I will definitely be back again. Ps. They are totally worth the price and are HUGE read more

Always a great selection and plenty of their signature doughnuts. Fritters as big as a plate and bacon maple bars...yum!!

OMG Becky...look at my butt. It is so big. It looks like I've been eating one too many of those Legendary Doughnuts...But it's so worth it!!! Okay, so the first time I ever had Legendary Doughnuts was when they were giving away complimentary doughnuts outside of Pearl Bar after the Seahawks Weekly event. I stepped outside and there were two representatives, just handing out boxes of doughnuts for all those who attended the event. No way! Not only did I get to see and MEET Jermaine Kearse but I took home a box of three doughnuts, which were all fantastic! I think I even said to the woman who handed me a box, "Is this a trick?" It was too good to be true. So when I found out that there was a Legendary Doughnuts in Covington I knew I had to stop by because there is no location nearby to where I live. I step inside and am greeted by a friendly employee and the scent of baked goodness. You just know that every bakery should smell like this. And in the display case was an assortment of doughnuts that went beyond what I could've ever dreamed of. Sure they have the classics, like a maple bar and a glaze, and an old-fashioned, which they label these doughnuts as "amateur" but your more spontaneous bad self wants you to get the ones that are labeled "legendary." Furthermore I could not for the life of me make up my mind for which to get because they fo' real all looked mouth-watering delicious. And I was for sure as hell not getting a dozen because I just knew that my fat ass did not need to eat 12. And I would not share. After asking for recommendations from the employee, who was as sweet as could be since she was incredibly patient with me, I decided on the Twix Doughnut. Twix is my favorite candy, so when I saw how massive the doughnut was I figured that was the one for me. And I just loved their take on the candy bar - it was a rectangular doughnut covered in chocolate with shortbread crumbs dusted on it and a caramel icing drizzled on top. What's not to love? I only meant to eat a little of it before hitting the road but I could not help myself and the first bite ended up being two more and then three more and then a group of people came, which made me finally resist the urge to take another gulp of my Twix Doughnut because I was legit not even sitting down, eating this thang. I was standing over my doughnut by the window, too excited to taste it that I forgot to sit down. True life. Fortunately, driving to my next meeting prevented me from eating the whole doughnut because the size was gigantic. So much so that it took me two days to eat, and the day after was just as delightful. Reallllllly glad this is not in Bellevue or in Seattle because even Sir-Mix-a-Lot would reject my fat ass. These doughnuts are so creative, gluttonous and heavenly!!! To be honest, which I'm sure will sound like a joke to you all, dear readers, I am more of a baked doughnut fan versus the fried dough; but this place makes me think otherwise. Plus, I loved how they had dog treats, shaped like a doughnut. (Duh.) I shall be back, maybe to get that dozen. Or try the Doughsant, the croissant-doughtnut hybrid. Or the Homer Simpson, which is a glaze doughnut so big it covers your face!!! Seriously - treat yo' self! read more

You have got to make the drive wherever you are and check this place out. It is totally worth it. The doughnuts are delicious and perfection. Try the doughsant! It's like a croissant that has been deep fried and it is sinful. The salted caramel one is a little over the top, but I can't help it I love it. I love the team spirit Legendary Doughnuts has. With all of the famous players special doughnuts it really feels like a Seattle joint. read more

I loved bringing my kids here for a quick breakfast treat. They do not have a huge selection that would overwhelm you (or an indecisive child). They had just the right amount of delicious options. Their doughnuts were on the bigger side. So you really get what you pay for here. I would normally get my little ones two doughnuts each, but not here! One was good enough for little tummies! Even my (what I think were) doughnut holes were more like mini doughnuts. I really loved the sizes and two alone were very filling. Unfortunately, I didn't pay too much attention to the menu. I walked in thinking it was just like any other normal doughnut shop, but while enjoyed our sweets in their comfortable sized dining area, I quickly learned that this place had quiet the reputation. So I feel very lucky that we happened upon this sweet treasure! The service was great! I came in with a rather big party, consisting of a lot of little ones. The lady who helped us was very kind and patient and didn't mind taking a few extra minutes for the kiddos to look and decide what they wanted. We were served the doughnuts in small baskets which I thought was a nice touch. The dining area was clean and had about four mini tables and then there was bar seating around the front windows and side walls. So plenty of space. The doughnuts were not just a nice size but they were decorated very nicely. A lot of color on some, sparkles on others. The kids loved looking at the different designs. My younest chose a very tastey Unicorn doughnut while my football fan little man chose a Seahawks decorated football doughnut. Very nice service and great tasting doughnuts! If I lived closer we would be back often! read more

Such yummy doughnuts! If your in the mood for doughnuts or anything sweet this is your place! They have tons of options that it is hard to decide on just one. I had their version of a cronut (croissant/doughnut) and omg it was amazing! Honestly the best doughnut I've ever had. I'd skip the drive down to Portland for Voodoo and just eat here and day of the week!!! Doughnut lovers must!! read more

It's safe to say that Legendary Donuts has rightfully earned their name. Unique donut creations, must I say more? There are 3 tiers of donuts, including amateur, famous and legendary. The amateur donuts are the cheapest - your basic glazed/cake donuts. The next step up are the famous donuts, which include cereal toppings and additional glazes. But most importantly are the legendary donuts (duh). These include PB&J filled donuts, maple bacon toppings, doughsants (aka cronuts aka croissant/donuts)...you name it! My bf & I ordered four: the Oprah doughsant (maple frosting w/bacon crumbles), pina colada (pineapple frosted doughsant w/coconut), white choco raspberry and blueberry cheesecake. All of the donuts were delicious - soft and fluffy on the inside and generously frosted. My favorite was the pina colada; it's not every day you stumble upon a cronut with pineapple frosting! -1 star because it is fairly pricey. Otherwise, Legendary Donuts is my new go-to! read more

Ever since trying Voodoo Doughnuts in PDX I have been a huge fan of both cereal and bacon on donuts, and this place has both! So making the run to PDX just for the donuts is no longer necessary ;).The dough is perfect, and they even have some meat options with the dough acting as the bread, however the meat options did not look appetizing. They have a lot of donut choices to pick from, my fav was the Flintstone! read more

Redeemed my groupon offer today. Their raspberry Italian soda tasted legit. Meli got 6 donut bites for $1 and she did work on it. Hubby and I agreed that the Oprah wasn't good at all. He said it was too salty and I thought the bacons were overcooked and hard. The sea salt caramel on the other hand was so GOOD. The snickers tastes just like the candy bar. My Husband ate the s'more and didn't saved me any. I still have the peanut butter pancake one in the fridge. I'm too stuffed to try any more. Hoping that I am saving the best for last. Way better than that over rated Top Pot Donuts. The lady working the counter was super sweet just like the donuts, lol. read more

Amazing donuts! Every single donut is . Staff is always friendly and helpful. Best donut place in Covington.

I usually go to the Lake Tapps location but I was ordering mini doughnuts for my wedding and this location was much closer to my venue.
