In and out of Baltimore for work for the last couple months. Came here with 3others. It was a pretty loud, hoppin place. I'm young, so it felt like a fit for me. Good selection of hip coastal region foods. They have a solid selection of Whiskeys, which means a lot from a Kentuckian, and many beers I've never heard of, which is always a good thing when in away from home. Lee's probably isn't really going to be your best bet if you want a family dinner, unless you have young adults, and you might be a young adult at heart. Again a great happy hour that includes food deals, like $.50 oysters. Something I never get to eat fresh back home. Rustic charm atmosphere, but probably too many tvs(although there wasn't any sound, and I don't come from a town with major league sports, so I'm not really interested in all that) Overall I'm impressed, and will be back, assuming I can find a parking spot... read more

Stopped in for a quick snack and a drink. ended up with chipotle fries and cornmeal fried oysters, both were excellent. Washed them down with a grapefruit man-crush. great friendly service, would definitely return. My only complaint is how loud they have the TV'S during a game. I went to the block party on Saturday July 27th. I went 2 weeks after my ACL constructions surgery. After speaking to the band the told me it was okay to sit on there equipment boxes because it was difficult to stand for a long period of time. After this the bouncer kept coming up to me and giving me a difficult time even after the band gave me the okay. It became apparent that the bouncer was on a mission to get me out of there no matter what my situation was. I will never go back there for any reason because of how I was treated. I can't believe how they treated me and I don't understand how I was treated that way. Lee's Shrimp & Oyster Roast on Jan 28, 2018 is a total scam. The event clearly states it starts at 11 but we're told that food won't be ready until at least 1pm. The worst part is that this place is only a bar and does not have any tables or chairs so not sure how my party of 7 was going to eat. The waiter suggested that we order from the menu first if we're hungry (Right! Order from the menu before the all u can eat... nice try). We decided not to wait 2 hours so we left and ate elsewhere. Our favorite neighborhood spot! Love coming here for happy hour and definitely our go-to for quick but delicious night out. You can't be their lobster dinner on Sundays. They always have great specials and constantly changing up the menu (and even let you order a previous special if it still isn't listed!) Went there for an all you can eat event. Time on ticket says 11-4 got there around 11:30 and no food were being served. Asked bartender about the food... she basically basically brushed me off. She said food will be ready at 1pm, nothing she can do about it. She suggested that i order and pay for some food while i wait. Why would i do that when i already paid for all you can eat? I used to LOVE Lee's. It was my favorite bar and restaurant ..but the service here the past couple of times has been TERRIBLE. My husband and I went today and sat at a high top by the front entrance. We waited for 15 minutes and then had to ask the front hostess who our waitress was. They tracked her down and she asked for our drinks and we put in our drink order. We waited another 10 minutes and still no drinks. We walked out because we were waiting for so long to get any sort of service. It was a shame because my love for that place has completely gone away because of their bad service. read more

I give two stars because it was the Saturday after Thanksgiving, a very busy day. But the menu was just average and the service as good as a bad chain restaurant. Our waiter tried to upsell at every opportunity, they served us bad oysters, and even the "fancy" entrees were served in plastic baskets and metal buckets. Drinks were pretty good. Shrimp and oysters- All You Can WAIT. This is a review of the 1/29 Event- a shrimp and oyster roast. Not a review of regular service. Advertised 11 AM to 4 PM all you can eat. Oversold and underdelivered. We arrived at 1 PM. My wife was next to a lady who said she had been in line since 11:00 and the food just started coming out. Others had already received refunds. The hostess processed our tickets and THEN said, "It's going to be a long wait." I asked, "What's that, an hour?" She said, "Probably." And then curtly added," We're not giving any more refunds." Another staff member then stated to someone else, that it wasn't all you can eat, "It's until we run out." We went elsewhere and I disputed the charge with my credit card. Probably good people who got out in front of their skis, sold too many tickets and could not handle the logistics. Had a night out with the boys on Thursday and just had an amazing night. Slugging back oysters and old fashioneds all night like it was our job. Our bartender was Erin who is pretty much the best bartender of all time. I asked her to make me a drink of her choice and she made a "Nutcracker." Was this some sort of subliminal message she was sending me? I can only wonder...I'm not sure about the one reviewer complaining about the music because it was on point! In terms of food, just get the shrimp tacos. Simple as that. I've been to this bar about 10 times and have gotten the shrimp tacos 60% of the time. As Canton locals who live two blocks away, my girlfriend and I typically go to Lee's 3x a week especially on Monday's to take advantage of their $5 lb of Mussels deal. This time we went with four other friends and had a table for six outside. We all ordered 3 lbs of mussel's, 1/2 lb of shrimp, buffalo wrap, double cheeseburger, and their Mexican corn. Right away, the cheeseburger, corn and wrap were given to our table but it took another 30 minutes for 2 of the 3 lb's of mussel's to be brought out, and then we had to remind our waitress that we had ordered a third pound of mussel's as well as the 1/2 lb of shrimp which she ended up forgetting to put in. Another 30 minutes later, the rest of our food was delivered. All in all, our dining experience lasted 90 minutes with food delivered every 30 minutes. Lastly, we notified our waitress when first were sat that we wanted the check split a certain way which she said she would be happy to do and thanks for letting her know. I reminded her once more of this when we finished eating and of course she got the checks all mixed up and all out of sorts. So, needless to say this was one of the more disappointing times we've come to Lee's. Nothing ended up being comped either which was disappointing. She never even apologized. Sorry to say when food is ordered everything should be brought to the table all at once not 30 minutes apart throughout 90 minutes. We love Lee's but unfortunately the last few times we've gone the food hasn't been good and the service has been poor. On a separate note, Athena and Cait are amazing. Always have been. On recommendation, travelled an hour to take advantage of Lee's $14.95 1.5lb lobster special with friends which is available Sunday evenings from 5-9. Arrived at 6 and was told the lobsters were gone within 25-30 minutes. Upon further inquiry was told they only order 50 per evening. Wow. Still in the restaurant. This place is amazing! Great neighborhood spot. Unassuming. Amazing happy hour deals! 50 cent oysters and $2 off all drinks till 7 and on Thursday, happy hour ALL NIGHT! The oysters are DELICIOUS and very fresh. I ate a dozen during happy hour without breaking a sweat. The service is upbeat but unobtrusive and quick to refill a drink. Place filled up while we were there and everyone is having a great time. Not too loud but a nice hum of conversation and great music in the background! We are only going to tell our best friends about this place because we want to keep it all to ourselves! Had the fish and chip and it was delicious and perfectly seasoned and cooked! The hubs had the blackened chicken with crab dip on a pretzel roll....yummy. I didn't like the fries because I don't care for truffles but they were well cooked. All in all, great place. The staff was overly accommodating and the manager Brian is super nice and went above and beyond to make sure everything went as smoothly as possible. I don't get the hype or the reason for the amount of business this place does. I've been twice and was extremely dissapointed. We went for lobster night one of the times and never went back. I don't know how you ruin lobster, but it was tasteless and rubbery. The melted butter was some kind of oil and had no flavor. After 2 hours, it still had not solidified. Hubby and I stopped in a couple of weeks ago for the first time. Loved the atmosphere and open air feel. First really nice day of the season and all doors (garage door walls) were open. We saw all the 50 cent, happy hour, oyster signs, and he was happy. The bartender was very soft spoken and had an accent. Was a little tough hearing her, but she was friendly and attentive. We ordered two different kinds of oysters to start. They were delivered pretty quickly and were yummy. (I'm told) This was followed by fish and chips, mac and cheese with shrimp and crab and my shrimp tacos. The fish and chips were the best I've ever tasted!! Huge!! The batter was light and tasty. The fries looked like they were made in house and were cooked perfectly. Again, not greasy!! The mac and cheese was okay. Nothing spectacular. My shrimp tacos were very tasty with fresh light flavors. We were excited to find a new place to frequent!! Then the bill came. The oysters were on the bill at full price. When we asked our bartender, she said only one kind of oyster that night was 50 cents each. Well, that was one of the ones we ordered. She said she forgot to adjust them for hh. Hmmmm, well, good to know. It happens, but, knowing up front would have been better. Right? So......we still liked the place enough to go back. And, go back we did. Sat outside and had a lovely server, Sam. She was a pleasure and very informative. We were sure to order the oysters on special this time. Once again, the fish and chips were ordered. How could we not!! On Sam's advice, we ordered the brisket sandwich. Wow!! What a delight!! So many flavors packed into that delicious roll!! I could only eat half. The food was good, no complaints. We ordered an app(Brussels sprouts) and two entrees(a burger and tacos, both with fries). The entrees showed quickly and were very good. No complaints about the food at all. However a few minutes after receiving our entrees the server(who was very nice and attentive) came by to mention that our appetizer was improperly entered or late and would be ready shortly. She asked if we still wanted it, of course we didn't as our entrees were already there and we were in the process of eating them. She asked if we'd just like to cancel it as has happened to many of you I'm sure, we did, naturally. She came back shortly thereafter to tell us, apologetically, that we couldn't cancel our appetizer and we could either have it served to us in the middle of our entrees or get it in a to go box. She claimed it was her 2nd day and apologized again saying that this was odd to her as well. I'm not the type to make a big deal and prefer not to complain which only ever serves to ruin a good meal. We took the appetizer to go, at full price, but in a state of shock. I've never even heard of this being done before. Often the timing of orders from the kitchen isn't as planned but to force patrons to accept and pay for an appetizer after the kitchen failed to produce them in even close succession is silly. Everything else about this place seemed great. My wife and I even mentioned that we ought to come by again and maybe come to watch a game just weird policy with the app. *updated the review. My previous 3 stars was unfair. The crab topped burger was legit! Brussel sprouts were even good the next day LOL. Forgot to mention we were driving my vintage motorcycle with our dog in the sidecar. Stopped by last night--a Thursday--for their all night happy hours specials, as their website stated. Couldn't go in the front door, but there was a hand-written sign directing us to a side door. The cute hostess asked us if we wanted a table but we said we'd find a place at the bar. We did one circle of the double-sided bar, but had some trouble identifying available bar seats, due to the fact that the stools themselves were empty, but the places had not been cleared. This should have been an indication of the poor service that was to come. We sat down on the corner of the bar and were not greeted, given eye contact, or otherwise acknowledged for a good 15 minutes. Finally, the guy next to us grabbed the bartender's attention. Keep in mind, we had no menus, no prior knowledge of this restaurant--nothing! We asked for a rundown of the beers on tap and he told us to--WAIT--while he grabbed their draft list. Seriously? Wait? Longer? We ordered beers and wanted to place an order for oysters when he returned with the beers. We said we wanted 6. He asked us what kind.....but how could we begin to say when we had no menus (still)? I thought this place was all about oysters and beer. I will not go point by point into all the service issues any further (suffice it to say, there many), but the pièce de résistance was when the bartender put his shoe up on a 12qt container full of ice, in order to tie it.
