Walked in and they just sit you wherever and charge you the same service as a massage chair. They work to fast even tho I'm the only person getting a service and ripped my nail off I started bleeding immediately. I originally planned to get a gel mani and get pedi but ended up only getting a gel pedi. I walked in with gel p polish on both my hands and feet. Pros: -As soon as I walked in I was greeted and given a chair. -Nail tech took her time painting nails.(but also con, wayyyy too long) -Feet tub lined with plastic bag. -They'll let you know the process of services before they do them and ask if you're cool with it -Sooo many gel color options! Loved this! -The clients are returning customers. You could just tell they had history. The techs and clients were having conversations the whole time. The techs took their time with them Cons: -Work station was dirty. The soak tub is placed on dirty carpet. -The gel UV light is placed on the dirty damp carpet with nothing underneath. So you're supposed to place feet on carpet under the lamp. I could see a nail clipping in under the lamp. (Picture attached) -Spa Chairs do not work. They have you put your feet in on of those feet buckets. Where the water gets cold. -bottom of feet weren't scrubbed well, felt like my tech wasn't trying but maybe because I was a bit ticklish she didn't want to do more? Let's give her the benefit of the doubt -Pedicure without massage took 1 hour and 30mins! -The whole time I was there no one bothered to start soaking my old gel mani which was fine because once I saw them place the UV lamp on the carpet I just wanted to run out. read more

I've been coming to Lees Nails for about 8 years now. I'm not one to do my nails every month but when I do I come to Lees Nails only. They do a great job and have always delivered what I have asked for. I cannot say anything bad about their work, but when it come to customer service the issues arise. Sometimes I feel like they do not genuinely care about their customers. I understand that it's a business and therefore it's only about money but that's not okay. But after so many years of coming here I would think they would care about building a clientele. On my recent visit I went in for acrylic nails and was told I was going to wait 10 min. That's fine I didn't have an appointment. But after 30 minutes of waiting I decided to leave. I got up and said I was leaving. I was not acknowledged no worker was apologetic or tried to stop me. I'm not asking to be begged to stay. All I wanted was to be acknowledged and a simple apology on the wait. Needless to say I will not be returning to Lees Nails any longer. Everyone here (Sandy, Carol, Lilly, Jessica, Paul/Lilly's brother) does excellent work. Yes, the place looks a little rundown but the service is top notch and the prices are reasonable. My nails always look great and their gel manicures last for weeks without a chip. I've tried other places and always come back. They are very careful with their work when doing my gel manicure. Paul (Lilly's brother who I believe is Paul) is very meticulous with the gel manicure and will make sure every nail looks excellent. And all the ladies do excellent work too. I agree with the other yelpers that the decor could be better. The other cringy detail is that the tools don't come in a sealed bag. Instead, the lady just disinfected them in front of me. I came here based on the Yelp reviews and they were right: it's inexpensive ($12 for a pedicure) and not the nicest to look at. They don't have those comfortable spa chairs. Instead you're seated in a regular chair at the little tables where I'm assuming they do manis and acrylics. Then why did I give it four stars? Well, I took everyone's advice and requested Kim and I'm glad I did. At first I was slightly apprehensive when she came out with the foot tub since I'm used to the pedicure spa chairs but Kim was sweet, fast, and great at doing pedis. She didn't rush me even though someone else was waiting for her but now I understand why it's recommended that you make an appointment. I got there at my appointment time which just so happened to be the time they opened (10 am) and there were 4 people already waiting! So make sure you make an appointment. I haven't decided if I'll be back but to add on to their list of praises, when I was sat in a "drying" chair with a little fan facing my feet, I meddled with the paper in-between my toes and Kim quickly asked if my pedicure had "messed up". Not annoyed, not peeved. She seemed like she wanted to fix it asap. I genuinely appreciated that. I have been coming to this place for almost a year...I especially like Kim or Jack for pedicure and Sandy or Carol for my acrylics. They all do a superb job. The place is pretty clean. You're better off calling in for an appointment unless you don't mind waiting (sometimes even up to an hour). This place gets packed for a reason! They provide good service for a decent price. They also have waxing services available. I've been to several different places and keep coming back here even though its not even close to my home! I have to say my last experience here was the worst. I been here many time and loved it . Unfortunately this last time was just horrible. I walked in and asked for a mani / pedi . All the techs were busy so I sat down to wait . One of the lady's called me over to sit (45 mins later ) She put my feet in cold water and set me on a broken chair that was to high and I couldn't lower to get my feet completely in the water . When I told the lady she ignored me . I asked callus removal and got some cream put on my feet and removed less then 2 mins later . She didn't even scrub my feet . She didn't cut my nail after I said to cut she just filed them l. I spent more time waiting then my pedi . I tried to bring it up and she blew me off . I've been going here for a while now . I live in the area, couple blocks down. My past experiences have been pretty good . I literally just went today. Sep. 29.15 . Got my eyebrows and a gel manicure done. 25 plus 2 bucks tip . 27 total. I don't usually go get stuff done frequently Only when I have a little extra to spend on myself. So I go in today, first the eyebrows: now I know it was a long time since I last went, so my shit was not on point. But she kept mentioning so, pointing it out. I KNOW I KNOW I KNOW. Just do your job with out any little comments here and there . Plain and simple . She thought she was done the first time, but once I had a look in the mirror I was like "really?... NO" so she went back and fixed them, around the third time she got them decent . And now that I am looking at them I like the left but not the right one . has an odd shape. Next up my nails . They came out really nice. It was just a simple mani and gel color . Beautiful but she seemed in a rush while she was doing it . ! I kept thinking, "does she have to leave or something?" She was cutting my cuticles and she ended up hurting my thumb . While she was waiting for the polish/gel to dry she was taking out her own dirt from her nails, wiping it Down in a towel, and going back to my nails, and the end when she was drying my hands, SHE USED THAT SAME TOWEL WITH HER DIRT FROM HER NAILS . And again with the annoying comments..... Went home and washed my hands right after like 3 times . Seemed unsanitary for her to do that . I used to think this place was ok but I won't be going back . Great place! I've been getting my nails done here for years. Very clean and the staff is great. I always bring my own color polish but they do have a wide variety to choose from. It's great! They have these massage chairs that are out of this world! Pedicures are $17 and a full set of nails is $21. Always busy so make an appointment if you don't want to wait. Okay so I had a very "interesting"experience here. I am going to lay everything out trying to be as impartial as possible and you can decide. (Will space out the key part for people who don't want to read it all) I went the lee'a nails today with my girlfriend for my first pedicure. I have had a manicure before but was overdue for a pedicure. I take pretty good care of my body so my feet were already decent enough to wear sandals, and not grotesque by any means. We went in around 10 when they opened to get pedicures together. I looked at the prices for pedicures which are either 13 or 15. I chose the 13 dollar option. The lady giving me my pedicure was nice when she started. She had a heavy Thai accent which was a little hard to understand but still attentive and made good conversation. She gave me a nice pedicure and a good massage as well. She asked me if I wanted anything other than my feet cleaned and nails trimmed. *important* With my girlfriends recommendation I told her I wanted a clear coat on my nails. Before I told her that I specifically asked if it would be any extra charge. She answered very clearly no. So once everything was done I asked if I could pay while my toes dried (after she finished cleaning up). She said of course, and I gave her my card. She said are you going to pay for hers (my girlfriends) too and I said no just mine. (My girlfriend and I do a lot for one another but we like to pay for our own stuff from time to time). ***This woman, went on to question me, and say oh a man should pay for his woman. You should buy her things. She mentioned it multiple times (what seemed like her trying to be funny)**** I tried to joke it off half way through but she kept saying things. This went on for no longer than a one/two minutes but was still very off putting and just overall rude. It was to the point where my girlfriend was uneasy and started to defend me... She then told me that the cost of the pedicure would be 18 dollars. I asked her for what and she could not give me a good answer, nor her coworkers. It was to the point where her broken English was not able to sufficiently communicate to me and I was getting upset. I payed the 19 dollars (1 dollar credit card charge) angrily and waited for my girlfriend to be done. ***important*** My opinion: I had/have a very low standard for a pedicure considering I've never gotten one. The pedicure itself was good but I will never patronize lee's nails again for the two reasons below: 1. I find it to be in very poor taste for an employee to joke at a customers expense, in front of a room full of people, or even directly to them when they don't have any sort of previous relationship. 2. They charged me more than I should have been. The jump from 13 to 18 is only 5 dollars which is nothing in the grand scheme of things, but the meaning behind it is much larger. I won't be back to a place that doesn't respect their customers and that operates to squeeze money, unfairly, from customers. read more

I don't know if this review will make any difference but i really don't care. I live in commerce and have been going here since I was 13 but after today I can say I WONT be going back. The last time I came here with my friend I payed $24 which I didn't mind but today I payed $29 for the same exact thing a pedi with gel, now tell me how that makes sense. Also the staff has gotten worse!! I had the man today and it took him an hour and 20mins! If I could give this place no stars I would!! I would not return to this location nor would I ever recommend this place to anyone. Their staff is sloppy and unreliable. My review is a little long but necessary to inform other Yelpers. I was going on vacation and needed to get my nails done asap. My regular nail place closes at 6:30 during the week and I would not bet able to make it. So I looked on yelp to find a nail  Salon on my way home from work  and open after 6:30 pm (after work). Lee's nails was the second best listing and right on my route home from work. They recommended Lily on yelp so I called and set up an appointment with her. I show and Lily is no where to be found. That's ok I can live withe someone else. I get a gel manicure and regular pedicure. The woman doing my pedicure was horrible and said that it looked like I hadn't had s pedicure in a while... no I just had one two weeks prior and you just removed the nail polish. My toes might not be pretty but they did not need much work. The lady doing my manicure is nice and accomidating. I asked for a simple glitter line across all my nails she said she could do it. The lady doing my toes finishes and takes off to sweep. The lady doing my manicure sees my toes and nods in disapproval and proceeds to clean up the globs of polish outside my toe nails... Thank you for fixing someone elses job with out be having to complain...Then she continues my manicure. She finishes and puts some oil on my hands gives me a massage. My nails look a little weird but it was late the other women had already taken off... so I decided to just leave. Once I got home and wash the oil off my hads the manicure looked extremely sloppy. The edges the runny and not clean. There were lumps on my nails from her leaving clumps of glitter. So I called the next day and my No show manicurist Lily answered. I let her know that I was very unhappy with my nails and she stated she would personally fix them. I let her know I would be there at 6:30pm she said that was fine. I decided to get out of work 30 minutes early to make sure there was no rush. I show up and there doors were locked with a piece of card board saying they closed early.... I was so upset this salon had failed once, I gave them the opportunity to fix their error and they failed me again. I called the salon I had been going to (Linda's threading and nails) and asked if they could see me (it was right before they closed).
