The location is cramped and not kept well. The ventilation is so poor that they don't even let you add any sort of spice to your food for fear of it aggrevating the eyes of the chef. Typical Mongolian fare. Shaved meat and veggies to choose from. Been to a few other places in and out of state and the meat quality and veggies are good. The only thing honestly lacking were the sauces. Pretty bland for the most part. But this is your typical Mongolian type place. read more

Great little hole in the wall that offers great Mongolian BBQ. The egg drop soup here is great. The fresh pocket bread is a great treat as well. The owner is a great guy taking time to show you all the offerings and making you feel like a valued customer. All of the staff is courteous and extremely attentive to each customers needs. DO NOT GO HERE. WASTE OF MONEY AND TIME. I'm not one to use yelp. I'm not one to go and give people bad reviews. But I couldn't help myself. There was NO ONE in the restaurant but me and my girlfriend. It took 7 minutes for our waitress to come offer us water. We ordered and went up to the counter to receive our bowl. The meat was filled all the way to the bowl and when I tried to blousy it down to make room for noodles, the lady yelled at me! Not only that but the meat was so bland it wasn't even funny. Then another employee came in crying and our waitress went over to comfort her. Took her another 22 minutes , until I got up and asked her directly for a refill on our water. She said , "I guess." Literally would give this negative stars if I could. Pros: No was in there Cons: Staff are rude and unaware -Portions are horrible for the price -Food taste horrible -cleanliness of restaurant ... Lee's is a fabulous hidden treasure. The egg rolls are absolutely my favorite and I have stopped to grab a few for lunch. I prefer the pork meat with my bowl. Tip from years of coming back, smash your meat (& if you love garlic) go to the end of line and put the garlic on the meat , then jump back for veggies, noodles & other sauces. Try all the sauces. Try all the proteins! OH WOW. Amazingly simple and so delicious. You pick protein, carbs, veggies, etc then add your personal combination of sauces (there is a guide if you want to follow) and then it's grilled right in front of you! wow. never the same meal twice! and, it's ALL you can eat.... love it. Awesome food. You get to pick what meats, vegetables and sauces. So much food and sooooo good! The owner is such a nice guy. He will walk you through how everything works and explain what the best options are. I loved it! My husband also forgot his glasses and while we were leaving, the owner was walking out to find us and flagged us down to give them back. AWESOME customer service and awesome food. I cannot believe this place is rated higher than Mongolian Grill in Layton. Not only was the food overall worse tasting, but they have about 1/3 of the choices--not to mention they are MORE EXPENSIVE. Furthermore, both me and my wife thought the egg drop soup tasted like pool water. Anyone who is thinking of coming to this restaurant should drive 15 minutes further to have a much better meal. We drive the 45 minutes from Salt Lake City to Ogden just to get my Mongolian bbq fix! This is the original original Mongolian bbq place. We always have fun piling up the meats, vegetables, and condiments. The flavor from the huge grilling surface is just unbeatable, I think it gets better with the years. We also love the egg rolls, nice and crispy and greasy. I am glad they are back. The copycats at the Chinese buffets simply cannot compare! read more

I recently went here with a group of friends for the first time. The food was delicious, the service was mediocre. Took my husband there a few weeks later and the food was just as good and the waitress was excellant. I didn't LOVE the 'house' sauce it was a bit salty for me, I use and extra sweet sauce instead of soy and it made a difference. The owner/manager is a super friendly guy who is really entertaining! If it's your first time he will walk you through your dining experience and he loves to see you bring in new friends. We will keep going to Lee's read more
