This was the worst experience I have ever had at Lee's. This place use to be so much better. My daughter got chicken with vegetables. The chicken was under cooked. So we asked for it to be reheated. The waitress threw it away and told us to get another. No worries we don't want food poisoning. So we get another bowl. The chicken was again not cooked all the way. I asked another waitress if they can just heat it back up again. The waitress was upset and walked off with total attitude. Next thing I know the cook at the grill comes out and tosses the bowl on the table saying we should have told her to cook it longer. They should know the temperature of chicken. Salmonella is something they should be concerned about especially with children. Not a good experience at all. I'm not happy about spending $97.14 for 5 people for a meal that was mediocre. Going elsewhere next time. read more

I've been curious about LoLo Hawaiian BBQ every since it opened. I especially was curious about…read moretheir macaroni salad and trying it. Well.... I went with their Two Meat Mix and requested Island Fire Chicken and Hawaiian BBQ beef. I forwent the rice and fresh mixed salad side and opted for two macaroni salad scoops (the second one being at an additional fee). I also requested Spicy Mayo and Katsu Sauce as the two included side sauce choices. First, the best part. The Island Fire Chicken was spiced perfectly (very spicy) and also was very tender chicken. The grilled onions mixed in really brought it all together. A 10 out of a 10! The Hawaiian BBQ Beef was absolutely delicious as well. Very tender cuts of beef on a bed of cabbage that really was only about three pieces. The cabbage was absolutely delicious and I wish there was more or a way to forgo one of the sides for just a side of the cabbage alone. It REALLY was THAT GOOD! I also appreciated that the Hawaiian BBQ Beef showed up naked without being drenched in sauce so I could really taste the flavor of the beef and enjoy each bite. For those curious, with the Two Meat Mix the Island Fire Chicken comes in at 6 oz with the Hawaiian BBQ Beef at 5 oz. Not quite sure on portion sizes for the other offerings. Ok, now the worst part (and the one that I was looking most forward to). The macaroni salad was anything BUT creamy! It was the absolute worst macaroni salad that I've ever tasted. There was no flavor. No spice. Not even a hint of mayonnaise flavoring. It might as well been cardboard. I've honestly tasted plain macaroni boiling in a pot with more flavor! I have absolutely no idea if this is typical of this restaurant but it will definitely keep me hesitant on going back there unless they offer a cabbage side or something else. I eat a lot of Sushi, so I definitely don't need a rice side. In regards to fresh mixed salads, I've found them to be major disappoints in regards to restaurants and fast food, etc. but I cannot speak for this place as I haven't tried one. Alas, the side sauces were both filled to the brim. The Spicy Mayo definitely was thick and consistent flavor wise. Katsu also has a thicker consistency with more sweet than spicy flavors. Both were great though. The portion sizes were decent for the price and the meat is definitely worth a visit if nothing else! Just stay away from the macaroni salad unless you prefer absolutely no flavor.

In regards to instructions being followed, this restaurant gets an A++++! Now let's get to my meal... I ordered the C4: BB & SAEU (steak and shrimp). This particular combo comes with white rice and mixed veggies. You can mix and match for a small additional fee (i.e. Ramen noodles and fried rice, etc...please refer to their menu for different combo options and prices). I opted for just steak & shrimp with ONLY fresh veggies and my sauces on the side. Q-One did oblige with all of that and let me try out all 4 sauces (on the side, btw, just as I requested), that they offer which are: Q-One Tepanyaki sauce Bulgogi sauce Srichacha Chili Paste The mixed veggies concluded of stir fried sliced green cabbage. The combo itself was flavorful even prior to the dressing. The stir fried cabbage was a bit oily for my taste, but hey, it's Korean, right?! The steak and shrimp were both cooked perfectly. Just smaller portions than what I was expecting. I only received 5 total shrimp and the steak was sliced and diced making it very small and not too much of it either; sadly. The entree was mostly oiled down cabbage minus a whole lot of meat (though it looks like a lot at first as they pack it in all on top). Stir it all around and see for yourself what you end up with. I definitely do plan on eating here again, just not quite sure when. Teriyaki Grill is a lot healthier and gives bigger meat portions. However, when I think of the catastrophe that I received at Cupbop, there's just no way that I would not recommend Q One to anyone and everyone! Side note: All the sauces are delicious! The house (Q-One) is a bit thicker in consistency than the bulgogi but not as sweet tasting. The srichacha is standard and their chili Paste is of a thinner consistency but VERY spicy! I couldn't pick a favorite so there you go :+)

To make matters worse, they forgot an add-on item in one of the bowls and missed an extra sauce we paid for in another. What made it especially frustrating was watching a customer walk in after us, order, and get her food freshly made in under three minutes while ours sat forgotten in the back. Really disappointing to see this decline in service from a local favorite. Hope they can get back to their original standards.
