Been wanting to visit Lee's for 6 years.

Classic throw back Chinese. Our first visit. Great customer service. Constant check back. I really loved the atmosphere. The food was kind of mediocre. My almond chicken came with a lot of brown sauce which is unusual. I would not order it again. I would try something else from the extensive menu. One side is Thai. One side is Chinese. This restaurant is Campy, Classic and Large. It's been here a long long time. The stories they could tell. I'm here for it.

Two and a half stars for this place just isn't right. It's a solid 3.5 which is why my rating is at 4. Using elementary school math. :D Yeah, the place is old and chintzy, but their black bean noodles (jjajangmyeon) is right on. The fried dumplings were done right. Thick and fried well! I didn't really care much for the chicken wings or the ban chan, but I'd definitely go back for jjajangmyeon. The decor is pretty atrocious though and kind of makes me laugh inside. It must have been a stylish place at one point, but it's showing its age and not very gracefully. I think it's one of those places where you just have to know what to order. Next time, jjajangmyeon, fried dumplings, and tangsuyook!

Ordered take out Snow White chicken, Mongolian beef, sesame chicken. Great!!

Ive come here for over 30 years and seen all the ups and downs over the decades. All legacy establishments over this period of time has its hard times, but at the end, this team comes through. Golden Buddha is the Chinese standard for Buford (20/Buford Hwy 23) for me and will continue. With a residence now nearby again, I come here for mostly take out and have been very happy for 2017. Food is always fresh, staff has been there years, friendly, professional. Lunch is nice to eat in and serving sizes at either time is large and plentiful. The crab wontons are great, as is the hot and sour soup to start. All others like beef and broccoli, Mongolian beef, moo goo GAi pan are favs for my family . I can only review on what I'd call typical Chinese food but hear their other dishes are equally very good. Still recommend for good ole Chinese, will be trying their sushi soon as the bar set up is nice and fish looks fresh!!

    Chicken fried rice

They had a big fun sign which drew me in. Other than that the place was totally empty and made me uneasy. I like to try new things so I ordered anyway. BIG mistake. Chicken fried rice, coke, and chicken wings for close to 50 bucks. The rice smelled like raw meat and turned my stomach instantly. I love food but even after not eating all day I had to throw it out. Please don't go here. I seriously am afraid your health will be compromised.

The food was awful and not authentic Chinese. Will not be back period. The prices are also high given the subpar quality.

We ordered at 7:15 PM, and by 7:44 PM, our food was at the door..still steaming like it had just been plated. This place closes at 9 PM, with the last delivery at 8 PM, so we were pretty impressed by the speed. We went with the General Tso's Chicken with fried rice, Shrimp Lo Mein, egg drop soup, and crab rangoon. My husband's a big fan of the General Tso's, and I get why--great portion size, great flavor, and for the price, it's a solid deal. The crab rangoon? Eh. It was like every other Chinese restaurant's crab rangoon. Nothing to write home about, but nothing to complain about either. As for me, I had the soup and lo mein. The egg drop soup was fine, but it was a little... oily? And it could've used a bit more flavor. The lo mein, though... wow. It was like someone made noodles and then forgot to season them entirely. I found myself thinking, "Okay, what can I add to this to make it not taste like cardboard?" But honestly, I wasn't in the mood to start a culinary experiment at 7:44 PM, so I just gave up and ate it anyway. All in all, 3/5 stars. Fast delivery and a solid General Tso's saved the day, but the lo mein and soup definitely need a little more love.

My partner and I decided to try Tani Thai 02.20.2026 and stopped by around 6:30PM for dinner…read more First off, the interior seemed clean and well-kept. The ambiance was dark and intimate, which I appreciated -- it gave the space a cozy, relaxed vibe that felt nice for a dinner date. The music was low and soft, which worked well since most of the tables were talking pretty loudly. It didn't feel chaotic or overstimulating, and we were still able to have a comfortable conversation. Service was decent -- we were seated quickly and the food came out in a reasonable amount of time. Here's what we ordered: Tiger's Tears ($15) - 3/5 This was the dish I was most excited about. It's described as grilled beef with chili-lime seasoning, onions, scallions, and sweet peppers. Unfortunately, it fell short of expectations. The beef was noticeably tough, chewy, and a bit sinewy rather than tender and juicy. The chili-lime sauce was very sharp and aggressively acidic -- overwhelmingly sour to the point where it masked the savory, char-grilled flavor of the meat. It was supposed to be spicy, but as an Asian who regularly eats and enjoys spicy food, there was barely any heat at all. The dish looked vibrant and colorful, but flavor-wise it felt unbalanced and slightly one-dimensional. Basil Fried Rice with Chicken ($18) - 2.5/5 The menu labeled this as spicy as well, but again, there was zero kick. Not even a subtle warmth. It tasted like very standard, plain fried rice -- mildly seasoned, slightly oily, and lacking depth. The fresh Thai basil aroma wasn't very pronounced, and the overall flavor felt muted and underwhelming. The chicken was okay texture-wise, but the dish as a whole didn't stand out or justify the price point. It needed more heat, more fragrance, and more boldness to feel like true Thai basil fried rice. Coconut Mushroom Soup with Chicken ($5.50) - 2/5 This one was disappointing. When it first arrived, it was comforting and creamy with a light coconut aroma. Initially, it tasted balanced and mildly savory. However, as it sat and I alternated between dishes, the flavor became increasingly sour and slightly off-putting. The chicken was extremely dry, stringy, and overcooked, which made it difficult to enjoy. The broth lacked the rich, silky depth I was hoping for and ended up tasting thin, overly acidic, and somewhat flat. Thai Teas ($5.50 each) - 3.5/5 Honestly, these saved the night. Sweet, creamy, and refreshing -- exactly what you expect from a good Thai tea. Smooth, well-balanced, and flavorful. Water - 0/5 I took one sip and didn't touch it again. It tasted like straight tap water with a faint cleaning solution scent. Thankfully, we had the Thai Teas to rely on. Overall, the experience was okay but not memorable. The atmosphere and ambiance were pleasant, but the food didn't quite deliver -- especially considering how Thai cuisine is typically bold, aromatic, spicy, and layered. For us, the dishes leaned either too sour or too bland, without much balance in between. Given the prices, we were expecting more depth and stronger flavors. Not a terrible experience, but not one we'd rush back for either.

Not all heroes wear capes. Technically, this was my second visit. The first time, I wanted to write a review... but I tragically spilled our entire order in the car on the way home. (RIP, first impression.) So this round was my redemption meal. Everything was packed with care and precision, like a tiny takeout Tetris master handled it. Utensils, sauces, lime--all included. Not a single thing forgotten. A+ for organization. Chicken Pho: Loaded with tender chicken, flavorful broth, and enough liquid gold left over to sip the next day like a cozy little leftover gift. My 1-year-old shared it with me (tiny foodie in the making). I tossed in the hoisin, sriracha, fish sauce, and lime they provided, and boom: flavor bomb. Beef Drunken Noodles (Medium Heat): I ordered "medium" and they actually gave me medium--not "let us burn TF out of your mouth". Perfect balance. Again, the tiny foodie gave it 2 thumbs up!

Everything was great. Crispy rolls not pictured. This is the best drunken noodle with beef I have had in twenty years. Honestly I had given up ordering it because of prior disappointment. But it was great. Got medium spicy and may ask for hot spice level next time. The green pepper and carrot were perfectly cooked with a bit of crunch left but not raw. The beef was perfectly tender and a generous portion. The wings!! I have tried these wings wherever I can find them. These were perfectly crispy with a great carmelized fish sauce glaze. It was simple. Nothing fancy but perfectly done. Try them. Umami bomb! Not too fishy. Just flavor. Sweet, salty, crispy and juicy. The fresh spring roll was great too. I don't like when they are overstuffed with lettuce to make them look bigger. There was plenty of pork, vermicelli, cucumber and coriander (cilantro). Again, flavorful bites with the peanut sauce to round it out. The only thing I am upset about is I just found this place and it is just down the road from me.. so excited! The family that runs it is kinda and attentive. They have Chinese, Thai and added Vietnamese during covid when they took over. Everything is made with care. I tried their bahn mi on my previous visit and it was good but would go to a bahn mi place in norcross that specializes in bahn mi instead. This place is for great meals. Not just a sandwich grab. Hope you enjoy it
