Tastiest Chicken Pad Tai I've had in a while. Could have some spiciness. The best egg roles I've had in a while also. Yum!

I need to prep this review that I was with a group of 9 adults--the reservation was only for 8 and…read morethey allowed us to squeeze in another and it was so kind that they let us get away with that. The reason I speak to the number of adults is because they were a bit inappropriate: they were very loud and I felt so bad because I have no doubt the group I was with disrupted the experience of other diners. I'm not a prude but even I was slightly embarrassed at times (I didn't know the group well and didn't anticipate the noise/volume). ANYWAY, I bring all that up because our server tolerated us and I was very grateful for him. Aside from being kind, he was very knowledgeable about trying/pairing items and making suggestions for us. The drinks were beautiful and the food was bright--fresh and flavorful. Bathrooms were spotless. I am looking forward to coming back on my own ;)

Definitely perfect for a date night or if you're wanting nice dinner with friends. I got their One Night in Bangkok cocktail which was presented with an aromatic lemongrass cloud. For $18, it was alright and the drink is definitely more known for its presentation. For food, we got their Royal Flower Dumplings which were absolutely delicious, unique, and well seasoned. I also got their Chicken Ka Phrao which was quite nice. My friends also highly enjoyed all of the dishes they tried. Overall it is quite a nice restaurant and I will visit again to try their other items.

The minute we walked in, a man sitting next to the hostess--who appeared to be part of the restaurant, not a customer--just stared at us. No greeting, no smile... just staring. The hostess also seemed a bit confused when we walked in. She asked if we had reservations; we said no. Then she asked if a high-top table was fine, as if the restaurant were packed. We agreed, assuming there would be a long wait for a regular table. But as she led us over, there were plenty of regular tables available. So right off the bat, the vibe wasn't particularly welcoming. As for the service, the waitress did a great job with the welcome and checked on us at a perfect pace. We also liked the decor--plenty of cute design elements that would make for great photos and draw people in. The menu was well done too: not overwhelming, just the right amount of variety in each category. Honestly, this part is why I gave the place more stars than I probably should have. As for the food, it was just okay for us--though that may have been due to what we ordered. There were only two of us, and we got three dishes: shrimp fried rice, beef chow fun, and kung pao chicken. We thought that would give us a good variety. The food had good flavor, but all three dishes tasted very similar. If you try these same dishes elsewhere, the flavors are usually more distinct. I do wish we had tried more of the appetizers and drinks--maybe that would have changed our rating a bit.

We came after visiting one of the nearby breweries. We were seated right away at the bar. I had a glass of the Black River sake and my boyfriend tried the Blossom of Peace. His was much sweeter and I was very happy with mine. They weren't served in traditional sake cups, just in regular wine glasses but this was good with me as they were a normal sized wine pour. They had a special for Bluefin Tuna. We shared the Nigiri trio by cutting each piece in half. My favorites were the two fattier cuts ( otoro, and chutoro ) I remember at this point we wished we had ordered another appetizer since the restaurant was busy and our main sushi rolls took a bit of time to arrive. We decided next time we would at least get the edamame in between plates. The rolls we ordered were the Ponzu Jello and Riverwest. The Riverwest description listed a smoky miso mayo which I did not notice a different from regular flavored mayo on a roll. The Ponzu Jello was unique and worth trying! The rolls were fat and very filling so we did not need to order more than two! I think we both agreed that the Riverwest roll was our favorite of the two. After that we noticed there was a special for some premium sake, so we ordered the G Joy. Very delicious, easy to drink and a perfect size to share. I will add this restaurant to my places to visit again!

I had ordered a cup of Tom Kah and was delivered and charged for a bowl of soup, which was a big price difference. That was a tad annoying just because we had nearly four different people approach our table to check on us to start. The timing of our dishes was off as well. I received my Pud See Yew and it was nearly 10 minutes until the Pud Thai came out and when it did the food had a horrendous burnt taste. We did send it back and they gladly corrected it, but at the same time something seemed off with communication. Our servers were nice, but they filled our waters like 30 times - every time we took a drink it seemed. Although very attentive, felt a bit overdoing it and didn't allow us to chat consistently without interruption of asking how is everything when we didn't really have food yet. I would come back because the food was so good.

We used Uber and paid for the fees, but it's astrocious. Pud kee mow (beef) Very nice, though not great. On the search for the best Pud keeper mow in town, and this isn't it. It needs a tad more heat and a little less sugar. Tom yum goong Bowl of hot and sour shrimp soup - tasted great, but wish there were more shrimp than mushrooms. It was more tom yum mushroom than "goong". Lemongrass sour and the little kick was perfect. Pud sweet basil leaves (beef) Ok, I know the word "sweet" goes in this dish, but it is sweeeeet. And it has way more peppers and onions than basil. It would have been a much better dish with basil and less sauce. Overall, I won't order delivery from them again. I might try revisiting in person sometime. No promises.
