    27. General Tso's Chicken 80. Shrimp Fried Rice

Delicious! I've been going to this restaurant for years. They now have new owners and the food is better than it has ever been. Quick service, kind staff and large portions. 10/10 :)

I pass by Wing's Chinese most days on my way home from work, but stopped for the first time just days ago. I had planned on getting a couple of egg rolls (their quality is how I judge Chinese restaurants), but the appetizer plate was only a few bucks more and had other items I knew I would eat so I ordered that instead of just the egg rolls. The appetizer plate came with two egg rolls, two crab rangoon, two fried shrimp, and four pieces of fried chicken. The egg rolls were meh. Yes, they were bigger than egg rolls at most other places, but they had a quality that teetered between homemade and freezer section at a grocery store. I wouldn't get them again. As you can see in the picture I'm uploading, both crab rangoon were almost completely empty. Seriously, it's not hard to screw up crab rangoon yet somehow they managed to do so. When I hear "fried chicken", I think of something like chicken wings or actual pieces of fried chicken. You know what I don't think of? Sweet and sour chicken. Like the egg rolls, the pieces were larger than usual, but calling sweet and sour chicken "fried chicken" is plain lazy. The shrimp were fine. I thought the first one was heavy on the breading and light on the shrimp. If I had to pick one of the four items as "the best" it would probably default to the shrimp since everything else was a disappointment.

    # 15 lunch special chicken, chicken fried fried rice and two piece fried chicken.

I didn't feel like doing a lot of driving for lunch so I found my self here again. I had the # 15 lunch special with chicken, chicken fried rice and two piece fried chicken. I give them props for all white meat by the way. This place is small and is only carry out with no seating options except chairs in the wait area. The Szechuan chicken is in red letters for hot but it was not hot at all. It was sweet with pea pods, broccoli, baby corn, celery, onions, carrots, all white meat chicken in a sweet brown sauce. I liked that the vegetables had crunch left in them and they were not cooked to mush. The two piece chicken was pretty good with a nice puffy crispy batter, substitute for the spring roll that I didn't like last time. The chicken fried rice was that sparse lunch special kind like most places and is really filler. My opinion is like my first review, it's close to work and is just average with the convenience factor. This is in no way a destination Chinese food place but it works for what it is and I completely understand what it is.

The combination fried rice contains beef chicken, shrimp and pork. Delicious!!

I've been to many Chinese places, and so far wing's carryout is the best with a lot of food for your money. I will visit this place again.

Plenty of space for parking in the back. Dark, smoky atmosphere with Asian interior designs. Perfect ambiance for BBQ! We had both Korean BBQ & hot pot, absolutely worth the price for both. The BBQ was by far everyone's favorite. We recommend the beef bulgogi, beef short ribs, and pork belly--these were the best for BBQ. Since it was all you can eat, we had a few servings of them. There was also a counter for different types of sauce one could get and a dessert section. The hot pot was great as well. We recommend the bone broth and the fish/shrimp/meatballs with it as well as udon noodles. The service was great overall. Our server was busy, but she managed to be attentive with us. We left with our belly full. We will absolutely come back.

I have ordered squid, but the dish ended up feeling more like a hotpot squid and no flavor, It was also a different kind of squid than I expected. We also order the brown rice cake, but had an dirty oily taste, like it may have been cooked in the same oil as fries, bubble tea inside is jello, I prefer boba. I hope the restaurant can improve this. The price is reasonable. I enjoyed the pork belly and the fries were good. Overall, it was okay, nothing too bad, but nothing amazing either.

We were told it gets busy for dinner right away and with no reservations we decided to go right at dinner opening time. There was a line forming outside the door before they opened but luckily we were second in line and got seated right away. The staff is very friendly. They check on you often without rushing. Multiple people greeted us and then thanked us on the way out. All of their sushi options sounded delicious. I got the Very Crunchy. It was served with a fun presentation over dried ice. The sushi itself tasted amazing, even though sushi isn't my favorite. I got the Pad Thai for an entree and I honestly think it's some of the best Pad Thai I've had in a while in Milwaukee. The sauce to noodle ratio was spot on and the flavor was perfect with the right amount of spice. Portions were great as well. Overall, definitely make sure to stop by!

We came after visiting one of the nearby breweries. We were seated right away at the bar. I had a glass of the Black River sake and my boyfriend tried the Blossom of Peace. His was much sweeter and I was very happy with mine. They weren't served in traditional sake cups, just in regular wine glasses but this was good with me as they were a normal sized wine pour. They had a special for Bluefin Tuna. We shared the Nigiri trio by cutting each piece in half. My favorites were the two fattier cuts ( otoro, and chutoro ) I remember at this point we wished we had ordered another appetizer since the restaurant was busy and our main sushi rolls took a bit of time to arrive. We decided next time we would at least get the edamame in between plates. The rolls we ordered were the Ponzu Jello and Riverwest. The Riverwest description listed a smoky miso mayo which I did not notice a different from regular flavored mayo on a roll. The Ponzu Jello was unique and worth trying! The rolls were fat and very filling so we did not need to order more than two! I think we both agreed that the Riverwest roll was our favorite of the two. After that we noticed there was a special for some premium sake, so we ordered the G Joy. Very delicious, easy to drink and a perfect size to share. I will add this restaurant to my places to visit again!
