They get 1 star because they did my nails and toes. Everything you read in the reviews is true. They are rough. They make you wait forever. They are overpriced. If you are black or Hispanic they treat you with much lower customer service and do not provide full service. My son and I went for what I hoped to be a nice relaxing spa. I called ahead they said we could come immediately. We arrived right away. We waited almost 30 minutes. I had a full set I wanted removed. She didn't remove all my nails but still charged me a $10 fee. I literally have them still on. I asked her about it and she said oh it's fine. I wanted gel but she pushed me to do dip powder. Annoyed I said okay Bc it's not what I wanted. She did nothing with my cuticles. Like 0 work. They look crazy. She also dipped right into the jar which is sooooo unsanitary. Afterwards my son and I did our pedis. We sat at the pedi bowls and they sat us in nice warm water. They then continued with our pedis. As other people came in for a pedi they asked would they like a regular or spa. They didn't ask us this so I asked what was the difference and could I see a menu. They said it's no menu but I can look online. While looking online the lady kept saying just regular pedi okay. I didn't have any option to get what I wanted. Our total was $155! His pedi and mani was $45 My powder mani was $45 Nail take off $10 My pedi was $55 ($35 pedi and $20 for gel color) I believe the lady who did mine was Lee. Booked an appointment for my myself and my bridesmaids. This used to be my normal nail place and love Andy so I thought this would be the right place for us to do manicures and pedicures. However, after all of my bridesmaids informing each nail attendant of the color, they all ended up with a different color from one another. Within 2 hours, two of them had the polish coming off of their toes. Also, during my pedicure I saw a tiny mouse. I informed the man doing my toes and he acted very confused. I do not understand the bad reviews. I have been coming here for years and have never had a bad experience. I only get pedicures and an occasional nail clean up (no polish as I really like my natural nails), so I cannot comment on their other nail services. The worst!! I don't normally leave reviews but very disappointed. I have gone to lee nails a few times for a pedicure and the service is not the best. I went to get a gel removed from my last Medicare and the service the tech used a drill to remove my nails and just soaked my nails in acetone. She insisted that this was the only way to remove the gel polish. I dont always get my nails done so didn't realize that this was absolutely not the correct way to remove gel nail polish during the appointment. I decided to have her stop before finishing to put on clear nail polish and was charge $22. They said it was a " spa" Medicare but only removed the gel nail polish and put lotion o. My hands.. My nails are worst then before my appointment. I will not be coming back. Don't waste you time. read more

My daughter and I had appointments for mani and pedis. We went in and we back not long after which was a surprise. After a while when the tech (a male employee) was doing my cuticles in my toes, my daughter looked down and said omg mom are you okay? I said yeah because at that particular time I didn't notice but blood was running down my foot. He cut my toe and he did not even say I'm sorry or anything. I just wanted to be done and get out of there. When putting on my socks and shoes then I really felt the pain. This was around 10:30 am Saturday it's now 12:10 am Sunday and my toe is still extra sore. For them not to even acknowledge he cut my skin and not say anything is ridiculous!! I will not go back. I had found out that the person who used to give me pedicures had moved to this nail salon. I made an appointment with her. Typically I just get pedicures but I've been treating myself to a full set of nails. She did a great job on my pedicure and then when it came time for fingers, I had told her I wanted full set of tips with gel for 4th of July. She kept saying don't you want dip? I had a dip manicure in the past and did not like the results. I told her no thank you please just give me a full set of tips with filler(I'm not sure of the terminology). She finally relented and started putting tips on. After they were on and filled she used the electric file and cut 3 of my cuticles(please see 2 of the 3 In attached photo) And when she was hand filing she would push my cuticles back hard and painfully with her nails, So hard that 2 days later my fingers still hurt. I mentioned several time that she was hurting me. The last cuticle cut was the largest (see photo)and most painful and it bled. I told her that really hurt and asked if she had something to put on it. She got something and put on the cut cuticles but that really stung and did not relieve the pain. I believe she wanted me to do the dip nails and because I didn't she intentionally hurt me. She did not say she was sorry when I pointed out each time she would hurt me.. I have NEVER had an experience like this. Who would ever think that something that is to be relaxing, enjoyable, and treat would end leaving me feeling like I never want to go get my nails done again. Dawn at Lee Nails really messed up my daughter-in-law's nails she went in with an idea for car week in Ocean City and ended up with uneven nails that were crooked and all shaped differently and couldn't do The design she asked for. The one design she did do was terrible we had waited an hour and 45 minutes because she had to go leave apparently nobody told us to go pick up her son or some thing then they asked us to come back the next day and that somebody would take her nails off and that the nail guy and he would redo her nails for her and when she got there she waited a half an hour then he says I don't have time to take your nails off or do your nails . He said , I could takeoff your polish and just put black polish on she was so upset and ready to cry and now she is stuck going somewhere else to pay someone to take them off and to do the design do not go here it's a pretty long wait and it's iffy if you're going to get what you asked for. Every single aspect was painful: he dug into my cuticles too far, massaged my shin rather than my muscles (?!), and dug his finger nail into me while painting. The paint is clumpy and uneven. I stayed even when they pulled out a used nail file and tried to use the cheese grater on my foot. About two days later my toe was hurting a little... didn't think much of it. Do not go here unless you are rich... they charged me $5 more to do my pedicure than advertised, $20 to remove gel toenail polish and $7 to cut my cuticles. I'm sorry since when were those items not included in a pedicure? EVERYWHERE else I have gone does not tack on stupid extra charges.
