I should preface this, I usually don't write reviews at all and Ive been going there for 2 years and yesterday was the last time I will ever set foot there...I went with my gf and got a water, bruschetta, and a calzone; I ended up getting food poisoning and puking for 4 hours last night, two hours after I ate there.. read more

Love this place! The kids got a kick out of the square pizzas the first time we went. The thin crust pizza is delicious. Not super crazy about their tomato sauce but that's okay because I love the white sauce pizza. We love the server, Myron. He greeted us like old friends even though it had been almost 2 months since we were last there. He makes great recommendations without being overly pushy. Great place to bring kids for a field trip. They get to make and bake their own pizzas! Great fun! A great addition to the community! read more

They still make the best tasting pizza in the area. I used to order from their Tyson's store years ago almost every - other day, and after taking my daughter to the new branch on Saturday evening I remembered why. The pastry crust is perfect and tasty, the Ledo sauce sweet and tangy, and the toppings fresh and satisfying. read more

I have been a Ledo customer for over 20 years. We take out alot. Recently, I have ordered cheese pizza on two occasions from this location with both having the cheese burned black on top. The first time I called and was offered a gift certificate in the mail. A week later no certificate. This week another burnt pizza so I called again. This time I returned this pizza to the store and was told that Ledo cheese pizza is made that way.... burnt??? I have had a lot of Ledo cheese pizza from a lot of Ledo stores over the years but this is the only store that thinks burnt is the correct way to cook chesse pizza. Worst of all, management is not very responsive. They say, "we keep our ovens at the same temp regardless of the type of pizza." Duh! Is there a human involved in this process? Someone smarter than the ovens who can judge when a pizza is done? If you have to have Ledos (like me), I recommend driving to another store. It will be worth the drive. If you can go with another brand.... do it and avoid the frustration! read more

I came here for my 24th birthday with friends on a late Thursday dinner. When we entered, everyone was very friendly. These are all positive things about this ledos. 1: Place was very clean 2: Service was amazing EXCEPT we didnt get any utensils but that wasnt too bad. 3: They have a nice bar with good selection of beer and other alcohol. 4: The BBQ wings were the best BBQ wings we all have ever had. We also had the Salt & vinegar wings, which stated like salt and vinegar chips with chicken flavor. 5: The waitress was very nice. She came when she needed and wasnt always hovering over us. 6: I ordered a calzone while one friend had a stromboli, another had a apple bacon pizza and another had a shrimp salad. We all loved our food. My calzone was so crispy and gooey. I will come back here for sure and I hope others go here as well. read more

Trying to be generous because I really used to like this place. Last Pizza wasn't totally cooked.... not the end of the world in a pandemic. But.....today we were told they won't do curbside. We are still in a pandemic guys!!! read more

How anyone gives this below 5-star is beyond me. Got takeout pizza tonight for first time. So freaking good. Thin, crispy crust with solid amount of toppings. I'd definitely recommend to friends. If you are a traditional NYC pizza guy then this isn't for you but if you like thin crust and freaking good give it a try. read more

The customer service was great! There was a little mix up with our pizza that we were picking up but the manager was so remorseful and kind about it. He remade our order and ended up giving us free cheesecake! To top it off the pizza was AMAZING. I will definitely order again! read more

Out of all the ledos I think the this Ledo's in Springfield is the best one I have been to The worst one I believe is the one in Fairfax iI think that all the others should follow whatever they're doing in Springfield Because they have it figure it out read more

Amazing pizza! The sauce is incredible and it's the perfect crust! Not too much, not too little. Our fav is the Ledo's Deluxe. Wonderful staff too! When we moved from the area we missed this so much and when we moved back, this was our first meal we had! So good! read more

Under new ownership. Great and friendly service. Pizza was delicious with lots of topping options. High energy and fun place to eat. My family and I had a great time. Kid friendly. Will definitely go back. read more

I dont know where to start? After hearing so much praise about this place I had to try it out for myself! My family and I were craving pizza so we ordered a large with extra cheese and pepperoni with an order of wings. The wings were huge and the sweet baby Rays BBQ sauce was to die for! The pizza on the other hand..... Not so great. After hearing how this pizza was the best in the area made me question Northern Virginia's pizza palate! The crust was like a biscuit and the sauce was to sweet in my opinion. My wife enjoyed it but me and my boys were not that impressed. The pizza is not but just not as great as people were making it seem. So last night we decided to give this place another try. So we ordered a calzone, stromboli, and two cheese steak subs. The sub had to be the nastiest steak and cheese I've ever eaten! They reminded me of a D.C. carry out sub..... Gross! Soggy, chewy bread and flavorless steak. On the other hand, the calzone and stromboli were on point. So all in all, I would say if you are craving wings or a calzone/stromboli this is a good spot to go. Subs are a major fail so pass on those. Pizza might be ok so long as you're not expecting "real, traditional" pizza... read more

I love Ledo's, but this particular location is SO SLOW. I ordered two appetizers to go with hardly anyone in the restaurant and waited for over 25 minutes to get my food. Ridiculous... read more

Bread sticks are good, great beer selection is awesome. Pizza sucks... if you think its good you dont know what your talking about. Cut into tiny squares, tastes like tortinos dollar frozen pizza. I'd be ashamed to serve this. read more

I have eaten here several times and have always been impressed. There is a waiter named Patrick who is top notch. The prices are extremely reasonable for the Washington Area. My wife and adult son used to eat there weekly while my son was out of work. When Ledo's found out my son was unemployed they hired him. He has been working there for two weeks and loves it. read more

Let me preface by saying I never knew such a thing as "bad pizza" could exist. That is, until I had Ledo. The one positive I will say is the bar. Very nice bartender. She was attentive and friendly. The pizza was by far the worst pizza I have ever had in my life. It was so sparse that you could actually see the dough under the sauce. The pizza was also lukewarm. There was virtually no cheese. My family and I will never be back. read more

I looove Ledo pizza! I have been to several locations and was so excited to have one open in the neighborhood. My favorites are plain chese and the taco pizza. You must try a salad with Ledo dressing, but beware, it will become a new craving! After this location has been opened for several months, they seemed to have worked out the kinks and have the timing and the service down pat. This is a good place to take kids and sports fans. They have all the tvs on and show football on sundays. read more

This is a neighborhood restaurant that I wasn't a real fan of...until it got a new owner/management! What a great change!! Joe makes everyone feel welcome, updates to the place are great and the staffs' mood has really improved! The food never disappoints and seems to be getting better, which I didn't think was possible. What really makes me love this place is Patrick! You can't ever go there and see him and not be greeted with a HUGE genuine smile! I recommend this place for many reasons and Joe keeps on improving it!! read more

I am a pizza fan and this place always makes me happy. It's a different kind of pizza but ohhhh soo tasty. My husband likes the BBQ chicken pizza and I had a hard time keeping my hands off the left overs the next day. My son always loves coming because of how kid friendly the staff is. Great Friday night beer and pizza place :) read more

The BLT pizza is worth the price...sooooo good, we get it whenever anyone visits us and everyone loves it. We also buy their pizza/pasta sauce in jars. YUM. The restaurant looks sort of dirty and not special at all. Customer service is always so so. 3 stars for that sauce and BLT pizza!!! SO GOOD!!! read more

I just move to the area and ate here for the first time yesterday, everyone at my table shared several dishes and they where all amazing. The staff was incredibly friendly and it was an overall brilliant experience! I will definitely be going back! read more

After the last experience we had at this location, management reached out and offered their most sincere apologies and explained the reason for the problems on out last visit. Today was a completely different experience where the staff was not overwhelmed by problems beyond their control and the food was prepared efficiently as served with a smile. I have no doubt that the staff does strive to do their best, and it was an enjoyable dine-in experience. Take out has not been a problem for us, and between the most recent dine-in experiences, any take out orders have been quickly prepared to proper specifications. I know that the staff does strive to do their best and am glad that we had the opportunity to have a good experience. We will continue to return and look forward to the continued success of this Ledo location. read more

The service has clearly gone downhill and it starts with management. Watched the manager (and the rest of the staff) walk by our table repeatedly while we sat and clearly waited for a waiter to decide to come to our table and take our order. After 15 minutes, we gave up and left. read more

They don't cut corners, they cut pepperoni and good customer service! I had to come home add additional pepperoni and re-cut the pizza. I ordered online via phone and somehow selected half pep, half cheese- I was told my order was confusing, but they could have called to confirm. My kids didn't like it said it tastes like school pizza. In my opinion it tastes like a decent homemade version of those frozen cheap Tony/ Totinos pizzas...Don't think we'll be back. read more

Horrible experience.... I called in for a pizza for a large party at my work 2 days prior they gave me the price and said they said they would have it ready. They asked my name and phone number. Came in to pick it up and they "forgot" about it and I had to wait 30 minutes for the pizzas to be made and my work had angry hungry coworkers wanting to eat. Do not ever order from Ledo Pizza over the phone, they are unreliable. read more

EXCELLENT FOOD BUT SERVICE WAS HORRIBLE Visited Springfield Ledo's Sunday, 12 October. This was my 3rd visit and normally the service is very good. This time, I was not only ignored once my food arrived, it took 23 minutes just to get my check and pay my bill at the end. The restaurant was busy at the time I arrived. The waitress who took my order, I later found out, was the restaurant Manager. Bonus points there. The food came out hot and fairly quickly considering the number of guests. But that is where the good service ended. No one came by to see if we needed anything else, (a refill would have been nice) but it never happened. To me, good service is when the employees ask you if you need anything BEFORE the customer has to request it. Finally I had to ask for my check from another employee. It took 23 minutes to receive it. I wrote an e--mail to the corporate headquarters in which I received what appears to have been an auto reply message. It said the Manager will be in contact with me. I am NOT looking for a freebie, just an apology for the service. Well, it appears that I have been ignored again. No response from Management and it's been a week. read more

It's been a while since I've been back at this location after living right next to shopping center over 3 years ago, and man have times changed. My friend and I wanted to get a quick bite to eat as we were on a time crunch so we had about 35 min or so. There were probably only 2-3 people at the bar and no one at the tables and more workers than customers. We were served our drinks promptly and the guy asked if we were ready and I told him we just needed like one more minute and he tells us no problem and disappears. We wait about 10 min and finally the employee who was upfront helped us out. All we wanted was a medium spring chicken pizza with a quarter just plain cheese. He said no problem and was going to put it in for us. Next comes another server asking what the order was because they were confused in the kitchen. We explained and he's like ok got it. 3 min later, our original server comes and asks if we are ready to order which at this point is like 15 min since we last saw him bring us drinks. He told us there's no order in the system and was going to make sure the pizza would be in the system. The pizza arrives and get this, it's 3/4 cheese and 1/4 spring chicken. Like really? At this point we tell him we are in a time crunch and we can't have this sent back to fix. Our original server says he will correct the order and get us another one to go (I assume for free?) but we declined. The server who worked up front says the pizza is on them for making the mistake. Then, the original server comes back to let us know he will give us a discount for the confusion. So no free pizza on us for messing up your order and wasting your time, but they took off 6 dollars and some change from the pizza which they charge 14.74 for a 1/4 spring chicken pizza. This was by far the worst experience I've had with any local restaurant. So much miscommunication and a cluster-f. This makes sense if it was a very busy time but again, we were the only ones sitting at the time!! The employee with the hat who worked up front was the man and I wish he was our server because he tried his best to help us and was sincere in his apology. The other server didn't really show any sincerity. Never again. read more

Jesus help us. I think Ellio's has opened a store in Springfield. The pics look great on Facebook, but seriously...you can't call this pizza? For the sake of improvement, my suggestion would be that you must improve the quality of your product because it is simply not acceptable. My kids, who love pizza, especially your #1 competitor Victors, refused to eat it. They told me "daddy, this isn't pizza." Unfortunately, we will not be coming back until that is fixed. read more

This location just opened so I figured I'd try it since I live nearby. Very disappointing. First, they got my order wrong, so after waiting 20 minutes for the food to come out, had to send it back. The replacement came out - it was wrong, had to send it back. The third try was 75% correct (who knew toppings were so tricky) so rather than push into hour 2 of waiting for pizza with hungry kids, I just took it hoping it was at least tolerable. It wasn't. The pizza basically is like a frozen pizza heated in the microwave smothered with toppings to try and fluff it up. Very nasty, I didn't even finish one piece. My kids, who eat any pizza on the planet, didn't even like it so had to run home to make them PBJ. I will say the staff is very friendly and they seem to really try - not sure if the kitchen is just learning or totally incompetent. The manager offered my a coupon for a free pizza, I declined and just took a refund as I won't be going back. Update: I used the free coupons they gave me to give them another try.... Glad it was free. This time they got my order right and seemed much better on that end, but the pizza was just horrible. Wish I could give them 0 stars. Chuck e Cheese has better pizza. Never thought I'd say that. read more

Love the food hate the wait on the weekends. It's always packed on Friday and Saturday I seen many people walk out due to the long wait.
