It seems like there is new management, The ceiling was leaking, like water being poured out of a faucet (they did get it to stop while we were there). There was no soap in the women's restroom and it clearly had not been cleaned (smelled like urine). We dined on a Thursday. The french fries were tasty! read more

I normally go to Uncle Charlies Pizzeria located in Newington, but the other day I decided to try something different with my son and a friend. For starters our waitress did not seem too happy to be there,I also had to get my own high chair which was a bit of a hassle. Next I ordered chicken parm. The chicken was so rubbery I couldn't cut it nor did I eat it, it also has provolone cheese on top not mozaralla which didn't taste too good. Thankfully the pasta and the garlic bread were okay. On top of that friend ordered a cesar salad which was extremely small. Overall not a very good experience. I'll stick to Uncle Charlies. read more

I have to say, we received excellent service here, the space was clean and comfortable. However this pizza....pizza? It was like flaky pastry or maybe a saltine cracker rolled out flat and topped with some cheese and a sauce that was i guess at least red. And then cut into little squares. Having never been here before I didn't know what to expect and was a little bit dumbfounded when it came out! I'm not a pizza snob but I know roughly what I'm looking for and It's round and cheesy and filling. This would probably make a great appetizer but frankly after eating 3 or 4 small squares I just gave up and left feeling rather dissatisfied. Having now read a few reviews I can't say I'll never go back, but I think if I do I'll stick to the wings. read more

Perhaps this is pizza in NoVa, but it's not real pizza. First the good: Really nice wait staff. The manager came over to see how we were doing, and was a genuinely nice guy. The restaurant is certainly family friendly and my kids loved the coloring pages and crayons they provided. Now, the not so good: Lousy pizza. Of course, having moved here from NYC, I have yet to find a decent slice. The problem is that the local joints are in a race to the bottom with Papa Johns and Dominos. Ledo could use some garlic and basil in their sauce - it was really bland. I think the cheese they used was the same "low moisture mozzarella" that you find at Giant. Really good pizzas. Their subs are tasty as well, love the steak and cheese ones. I usually order a spinach salad and start customizing it with crispy chicken and other stuff. That's what I like about this place, whether I get the salad or the sandwich there's lots of options as far as ingredients you can add to make them better. Their appetizers are quite good as well. I was very pleased with the Take Out service at Lidos, W. Springfield today. I had a free small Birthday Pizza and also ordered another small Pizza. The Owner gave me another small Pizza for my Birthday. The Employee who took my phone order and I also met while picking up the Pizzas, was personable, friendly and welcoming. The Franchise Owner was also at the Register. He did everything right where service is concerned. Of course, the Pizzas are always awesome. I will be back soon and tell my Friends. Manager needs to train the staff on service and appearance.. the front cashier was poorly mannered and very overwhelmed by the customers waiting and calling... phones kept ringing while she had to run to the kitchen and bring the orders.. pizza quality also a 1 star.. we usually love Ledo's but this branch is suffering.. the Reston Ledo's by far better. read more

I was having a good dinner with some friends and a employee came up and rudely said she was taking a extra chair, then she did it again and I mentioned politely that she didn't need to say anything if she needed to get a chair, she look at me and said "I will Freaking strangle you" and lurched forward like she was going to do something. read more

We stopped by for dinner on a busy Friday night, and while the place was packed, we got seated outside with a short wait. Our friends recommended that we tried the wings and we did buffalo style! and they were crispy on the outside and tender inside. The house dressing for side salds we had was delicious. Shared Dixie specialty pizza with bacon, and it was loaded with more than generous amounts of crispy bacon. For a pizza joint, they had wide selection of desserts as well. Service was great, the wait staff were youthful and polite. Overall, this place offers great food at value pricing! We will definite go back to try other items on the menu! read more

Best pizza around! I have tried them all. This particular Ledo seams to make pizza that tastes better than other Ledo locations. Order over the phone is a breeze. Service is prompt and courteous. They have a pub in the back with the best beer on tap around. You can hate pizza and still come here as a beer lover. Great please to watch sports games. Emily, the bartender, is awesome. read more

Came out to have dinner here to participate in Rolling Valley Elementary PTA's fundraiser. Was not sure what to expect. Our meals were really delicious. The pizzas were great, one tomato base, one lime base (new pizza, interesting flavor). We tied the wings, they were also tasty (strange item for a pizza place). We also had the chicken parmesan. It was very good. I must admit, our meals were heavy meals, but tasty. I plan to return, maybe I would have a lighter meal. I highly recommend. read more

Horrible management and service. Left a review on google but wanted to ensure it was on yelp as well. Employees cleaned table adjacent to ours and put supplies on top of divider between our table and the adjacent one. Employees repeatedly slammed supplies directly over our food and drink. Frequented this spot quite a bit over the past few years - we will not return. Owner offered us dessert, not sure how a free dessert compensates for this level of rude behavior. read more

Recently ate here on a Saturday evening with a group of friends. We sat in back bar area - this place is like 2 restaurants in one. The back bar with tvs feels like a small sports bar and the front dining room is a good place for groups and families. The pizza was delicious; I hadn't been to a Ledo's for many years and don't remember it being this good! Staff was attentive and service was good. read more

We heard this lcoation is under new ownership, so we decided to meet some friends for dinner and drinks. The service was friendly and efficient. We shared pepperoni pizzas, sausage pizzas and the jumbo wings. We also had the red velvet cake for dessert. The food was delicious and the jumbo wings really are jumbo sized! We sat in the back in the sports bar area, which features 9 flat screen TVs. There was a great variety of beers on tap and a good selection of wines as well. We really enjoyed our experience. Under new ownership. We came here with a party of 11 spanning three generations. The waitstaff was very patient and helpful. The young kids got special attention with Oreo cookies after dinner. The pasta plates were tasty and the portion will still leave plenty to take home. The pizza here is the sweet, flaky crust that Ledo's is known for. We had cheese pizza and a sausage and jalepeno pizza. The naked wings we ordered were perfectly crispy and meaty. We also had the fried ravioli appetizer which was a hit. This location has TVs around the dinning room playing different things on mute. The back bar was full of people and had March Madness games on. The staff was working the entire time to balance keeping the place clean and constantly asking diners if there was anything they could get for them. The food came out quick and was perfectly cooked. I had the Ledo Stomboli which was awesome! (As always) I'll come back to this Ledo and enjoy a delicious meal many more times to come! read more

Not coming back. I went into the restaurant (West Springfield) a few months ago. The service was poor, and the food was late coming to the table (40 minutes from the time of order to being served). I could understand if it was crowded and we had a big group but the restaurant was almost empty and there were only three of us at our table. I gave them another chance and ordered carry-out pizza tonight. The pizza crust was cold, even though I picked it up on time, and was tasteless (my 12 year old son even said "I think they forgot the salt in the dough"). I used to assume they made the dough in the restaurant, but now I am not so sure. It is close by my house, but I will not be back. There are much better options out there. read more

Ledos is a pretty good restaurant. The pizza here is very good. It's done a little different but very good. I have never had a bad experience with the service here. I like coming here because food is good portioned for the price. The other food is not bad but it's very cookie cutter type. I love the spicy toasted ravioli here. Yummy! The dessert is good but not spectacular. The atmosphere is very casual. You seat yourself and someone comes up and takes your order. The patio is nice during the warm weather. Over all it's a good cheap decent meal. read more

Stopped by recently for some pizza and wings and had a great time. Food was great and atmosphere was fun. I especially liked the back bar where we caught a little college hoops. Not only did the manager take my order and say a large cheese pizza would be 20 min, but at 35 min they said it would be another 15. At 45 min I got the pizza after twice asking, the pizza was actually two smalls thrown into the box, clear from the crust ends around it... I have a photo. Cutting corners...???? Yeah they did. Our first visit here was on a Sunday afternoon. The place wasn't very crowded, but the service was quite slow. It appeared that there was one waitress for the entire main dining section. The waitress was not very friendly and didn't smile, maybe because she was overworked. My wife ordered an Italian white pizza and I ordered a pizza with pepperoni topping. The waitress brought the white pizza to our table, but explained that they were going to make a new one because the one we received had too many bubbles on it. After trying a few of the non-bubbly slices, my wife said that it tasted OK. After trying a few slices of my pepperoni pizza, I also said it was OK. In my estimation, the taste was shy of being very good or excellent. My pizza lacked a real zesty flavor and was more bland than tasty. It was like getting to second base, which is OK but isn't a home run. read more

Here's a pizza go-to place in Springfield. It's also right next door to a frozen yogurt shop, and there's outdoor seating. I've tried two of their flat bread pizzas. You can easily split the 14" between two to three people. I recommend the Spring Chicken or vegan vegetable flat bread pizzas. Although I'm convinced you won't go wrong with any of them. They have a display case filled with cakes and pies that you see as soon as you walk in, so there's lots of options. Good for family, or just hanging out. I'll be in again. read more

We had Ledo Pizza in Springfield and it's the best tasting pizza ever! The sauce is sweet, the crust is flaky (sort of like a pie) and the toppings are superb quality. The service at this location is outstanding and the manager is friendly and engaging w/ customers. You can tell they care because the staff is well trained and attentive. You won't find a better casual dining out experience than West Springfield Ledo, My favorite pizza of all time! read more

We tried the Springfield Ledo's 2 weeks ago, as a neighbor told us it was under new ownership and to check it out. We went on a Saturday afternoon and decided to sit in the back bar area to watch some of the basketball that was on. Our server greeted us right away and our drinks were brought right out. We ordered sausage and pep pizza. The new owner stopped by our table to introduce himself and chat for a moment, he was welcoming and friendly. The whole time we were there I could see him helping out all over the restaurant in every capacity. I really liked that - not above doing any of the work you ask your employees to do. That really made an impression on me. The pizza was excellent - there's really nothing like the sweet sauce they use! :) The Ledo's menu has really grown since last we went to one. We will be back to try many of the other items, and will definetly do that at the Springfield location! read more

Having dined at other Ledo's locations over the years, I was thrilled to find out there was one opening in my neighborhood. I've eaten there quite a few times since they opened and haven't had any real complaints. While the staff are mostly young and inexperienced, they are pleasant and eager to please. The managers stay on the floor to monitor things and check in with diners to be sure everything is okay. Grace, one of the managers, impresses with her attentiveness to her duties. Prices are very reasonable for the fare offered. Outside dining is a deffinite plus too. read more

I'm from PG County originally and frequented the original Ledo Pizza in the 70s and 80s. I live in Springfield now and was thrilled to see a Ledo franchise appear and can attest that this location is every bit as good as the original. We've been to this one at least half dozen times and the food is consistent. If you've never been to a Ledo, know that this pizza is unlike any other. Very thin, cracker like crust and the sauce has a different taste that's hard to explain--sort of sweet. They used smoked mozzarella that is so much better than the white rubber of regular mozzarella. Give a try the half-baked pizza, where you take it home half cooked and you finish it off in you oven. It's so cripsy and hot out of the oven, just like when you eat in restaurant. read more
