Decent food here. The wings and steak and cheese sandwiches hit the spot. I do wish I liked their pizzas more. Taste is subjective, and I find them alright. The pizza was pretty good (I wouldn't say it was on fleek though). I thought it was a little bit dry (hope that makes sense), otherwise, it was good. I also ordered the wings (comes with 10 wings, per the menu), however, I only got eight wings. I was a bit annoyed by this, but I didn't feel like calling and complaining. I'll be blunt, I actually really like their food. But the last time my wife came here to pick up an order, the individual handling the food was NOT wearing a face mask. I don't really care if you're in the lower percentile that thinks this is all just a joke/hoax, but the rest of us are taking it seriously. There's even a checkmark above "Staff Wears Face Masks", yeah not true. No, I'm writing the 1 star review to get the owner's or managers' attention as I already sent an email nearly a week ago and got no response. Maybe a 1 star Yelp review will trigger something?? No free pizza necessary, just investigate the employee who wasn't wearing a face mask last Friday May 14th around 4pm at the Burke location. There's a Vocelli close to to my office which we regularly order from (my co-workers and I) But I hadn't tried this one which is closer to my home. So we gave it a shot last week. And we were all pleasantly surprised how good it was. My oldest has tried buffalo pizza all over town and declared this is the best of the lot. The only thing keeping it from being perfect he said was it had too much crust (which may not be a negative to some) the sauce was good and spicy good ratio of cheese to chicken (which was perfectly cooked and not dry) The cheese pizza was also yummy with plenty of cheese and the sauce was not too sweet. We also got an order of the vocelli rolls which were super delish. Garlic and cheese? Yes, please...and thank you! I've never said this about any place, until we placed an order tonight for dinner: Effing - awful. I'll never recommend them to anyone ever again. The food we received was beyond mediocre (McDonald's dollar menu is winning gold stars over and over again over this quality of food from Vocelli). To top it off, my husband threw up 10 minutes after eating what we ordered. Both orders of wings - Garlic Romano, came inside a pizza box with no plastic or anything to keep the sauce in. Nothing but a simple piece of waxy paper. WTF is this business thinking? Do you not understand that hot, oily foods need a heat resistant plastic container; not an absorbent container like cardboard? Please feel free to see pictures that I've attached at how poorly packaged the wings were. It was disgusting. The oil soaked through to the bottom of the box and onto the top of where our next sorry order was. The wings were sorry, mushy, and just a solid disappointment. I took a bite of one wing and threw the rest in the garbage. I wouldn't feed a starving animal that food. My husband didn't realize their texture until he was about 5 wings in. We both have not eaten well today and unfortunately, we were actually looking forward to this dinner. Vocelli's definitely made sure we kept the record for dinner. The sub was terrible. We paid for extra meat - we got regular. The cheese was half-melted to the waxed paper they wrapped it in. Such a waste. At least Paisano's Pizza down Backlick Road. packs their subs full of meat when their customers pay. I guess we didn't matter much? The Stromboli (the $12.57 Stromboli, because we wanted some veggie toppings) was greasy and covered with some buttery/greasy garlic Parmesan that's reminiscent of Domino's, but Domino's is obviously higher class than this restaurant can provide. Disappointment isn't the word. This place is awful. I had it a few years ago when I worked down the road. The food was crap then, and it's crap now. I used to recommend this brand name highly, because I've had good Vocelli food. Sadly, not here. What a shame. I hope the owners see this. This is 3.5 star pizza - absolutely fine. Nothing special but delivery is quick and accurate and the ingredients are fresh. Like most pizza outside NYC though the crust/sauce is just meh. Definitely better than Dominoes. read more

Vocelli usually has good pizza, but this location is not worth wasting your money on. My last few orders in the last few months have produced lackluster pizza with minimal toppings and you have to order double cheese to barely get normal cheese cover on your pizza. You just don't get what you pay for in toppings or flavor so I'd recommend you go elsewhere for good pizza in this part of Springfield. read more

Not real happy with my order, I ordered online a sub special and a Mediterranean side salad. My order was suppose to be ready by 12:10 pm which it was not. The hot sub was done but the cold salad seemed to be the speed bump in this order . The sub was sparse and the salad had at least 3 tablespoons of water in the bottom of it. The pizza was really good plenty of cheese and meat on the pizza which I like, I ordered the meat magnifico artisan pizza. The vocelli rolls are pretty much stuffed bread rolls with cheese they were sooooo good right amount of garlic and cheese could have eaten the whole box. The oven roasted chicken were ok but not the best. If your looking to try a new pizza spot you should try hem out. I would order from here again. read more

Vocellis has a huge selection on their menu ranging from Stromboli's, pizzas, subs, pasta, and wings. The Stromboli and subs specifically are very good and made fresh. The steak sub in particular was amazing. The hot wings were a different story. They were soggy and not really hot also the sauce was very runny and lacked viscosity. However, the other wing sauces were very good and gave the wings a wholesome taste. The pizza was slightly above average. It's still one of the better pizza places in the NOVA area. read more

Every Thursday night at work, we get fed. Some nights the company orders from Vocelli's. Those are the good nights. Really, the only pizza worth ordering from Vocelli is the buffalo chicken pizza. It's deliciously sauced - with buffalo sauce and ranch dressing! Just completely delicious. The crust is also quite puffy and yummy. I literally daydream about eating this pizza. And when the pizza comes Thursday night, I'm pushing my way through the line to get at it (OK, not really. But if there were only two pieces left, I'd definitely push some people around to get them). I haven't had anything else from this place that has really impressed me. They do offer a lot of toppings, though - especially of the vegetable variety. I'd steer clear of the thin crust. Never had an incomplete or disputed order in all of those years!! Their delivery is always prompt and cheerful, even in inclement weather. Worst bread sticks ever. They were dry and almost burnt tasting. Super disappointed. First and only time I ordered delivery from here, which was only 30mins, pretty great for a Friday night. wow. this pizza is AWFUL. I stopped in late last night--they were one of the few places open. I wanted a small, regular pizza. The cashier told me to get the thin crust--I figured bc it was so late, maybe that's all they had left. I was exhausted from a long day and didn't argue. It was disgusting. It was WORSE than pizza from a freezer. In fact, I am 100% sure it WAS pizza from a freezer. On the bottom were very organized little dots, like on a freezer pizza.
